Well, I read reviews of Jimmy's work everywhere else, and decided the yelp reviews were off. Jimmy did driveway, sidewalk and steps work for me. Older house, so there was plenty of demo and a complete redesign to make up for shifting over the years. Jimmy's experience showed when we looked at redesign, and he made excellent suggestions on regrade, angles, and design. Permit was pulled, inspections went well. Weather didn't cooperate at all, but as soon as the rain stopped the crew was back on the job. Jimmy came to the job site each day, inspected the work, and then met with me to review. I felt like I was in good hands all the way, and the end result is actually better than I had planned. Asked to meet for a estimate.....He did a no-show and then made up some lies about texting me which I know he did not do. First, you DO NOT text when YOU cancel a meeting especially when you can just call. So, if you're unreliable for a first meeting, just assume it's gonna go downhill from there. This company does not even deserve one star, my company paid Jimmy Reyes in full $33,000 for a foundation job. Our contract included the material. Jimmy Reyes did not pay for the concrete material for my job. $15000! And of course the lien went on my property. This man steals your money! How he is not in prison I will never know!!!! This guy has had over $100K in liens over the years!!! Do your due diligence!! Find a reputable company, do yourself a favor!!!!! By the way... the review left by Mireyna is his wife! This man doesn't even have a bAnk account because he has so many people after him. He uses check cashing places. He has burned his bridge with vendors in the area so he had to go out of Austin area to con people. He will reply to asking if you have the correct company so people don't know the truth. We have been in the construction industry for over 25 years and I can only say that if you ever met a contractor that you need to stay away from this would be the company.. He looked me in my eye and shook my hand and gave me his word that he would finish up the concrete driveway that he was suppose to complete and said that he was a christian man and would never cheat anyone, well my gut told me not to pay him, but I wanted to believe him.. Jimmy poured a driveway for me to access my work shop which was great work and a great end result. Then, six months later I received a lien notice against my home in the mail for $1600.00 which was from an unpaid steel bill that Jimmy never took care of; the steel that I had prepaid Jimmy for. I contacted Jimmy and he said he would take care of it. Two months later, I contacted the steel company and the bill had still not been taken care. The bill had now escalated to $2200.00 which due to added attorney fee's. I went ahead and paid the bill to get the lien against my home removed. I immediately contacted Jimmy once again, furious, to which he then stated he would reimburse me the total $2200. From then to current date, he's paid part of it back but after close to two years and every excuse in the book, he stiil owes me $800.00.
