My old 25 year old cement driveway was stained, cracked, and puddled like crazy after any rain, and joints were missing mastic and had hollowed out with toads living inside. His team did the demo work and installed the pavers in just a few days for a pretty large driveway. They were good about cleaning up on a daily basis and the pricing was competitive. The result is incredible. RcTex also made sure to slope the driveway as I asked to avoid puddling and also installed a parking pad with retaining wall for my other car that doesn't fit into the garage. Finally they applied a sealer to the pavers for a nice wet look and to avoid stains. Pretty happy with the work! Highly recommend.

Folks, that design was so BAD that I struggle to find the right words to describe it without being offensive. My fiancé was so put off by Amy's design that he just wanted to take the $850 loss and walk away; he didn't even want to work with her to try to fix it, it was so bad that he didn't think it'd be salvageable. Most of the things that we told her we wanted were not included and those that were included were done poorly and carelessly. Not only did she ignore or forgot most of what we had asked her for, but what she did design was messy, barely functional and not aesthetically pleasing. Some examples of Amy's design: - Plants with huge thorns ALL around the walkways and existing pool - Stairs off our deck that dead-end into an existing privacy wall and trees (so you can't actually get anywhere). - Our only outdoor faucet completely blocked off. - We told her we were thinking about changing our back door for French doors - so in her design she changed our existing windows for French doors and left the regular door right next to it. - We told her we'd like to extend our deck, so she extended it and added two sets of stairs: the aforementioned set of stairs to nowhere and another set that ends about 6 inches from an existing concrete planter. - We told her we wanted to replace the palm trees we lost in the freeze, she ignored us. - We told her we didn't want Cypress trees, she covered our backyard in them. - We told her we wanted shade all over the exiting patio, she designed a pergola that covers only half the patio and with one of the support beams smack in front of an existing smoker. I understand that maybe she couldn't design the pergola we wanted if there were structural or permit constraints, but she didn't explain any of it to us and, to this day, I have no idea why she designed only a half-pergola. - We told her we wanted to xeriscape the side yard, she ignored us and didn't even include the side yard in the design. - We told her we wanted storage under the existing deck, she ignored us. - We told her we wanted an outdoor kitchen (with a sink, a Green Egg and storage) - she added a grill. I, not wanting to just take the $850 loss, emailed Amy with a long list of everything she missed or did carelessly. She was sort of apologetic and said she would re-do it and get back to us "soon". A month later I had to email her asking what was going on as I hadn't heard from her. She made up some excuse about the holidays and said she would have our design in two days. Four days later she did send the new 3D design and, while it wasn't exactly what you would expect from a professional designer, it was much better than the first. She said she would have the 2D design the next day - it's been 50 days. Three weeks after, I emailed her asking for an update. Then again the week after. And again. And again. You get the drift. She didn't answer a single email. I eventually called. And called. And called. You get the drift again. She blocked my number. It took about 50 (ignored) phone calls to two different phone numbers, texts and a couple angry voicemails to get Amy to finally reply. All she said was that they weren't going to bid on our project (as if I would work with them ever again), that she had explained that in her email from 50 days ago (she hadn't) and that if I had a construction company, then she would send THEM the 2D design. So here we are, 5 months after hiring Anderson Landscapes - our backyard is still a mess - but we now have a barely ok 3D design, a 2D design being held hostage and a shady company ignoring our requests for a follow-up. Oh, and we got to pay $850 for this hassle. If that's the experience you want when re-doing your backyard, then by all means, hire Anderson Landscapes. But if six months from now you'd rather be enjoying your backyard oasis instead of dealing with a mediocre, rude, shady company and googling "how to open a BBB complaint", then I'd recommend you stay away from Anderson. They do have some good reviews from years ago but I'd suggest you pay attention to the newer ones as something has definitely changed. There are so many landscaping/hardscaping companies out there, trust me when I tell you, it's not worth your time or money to take a chance on this one (and I wish I'd known that 5 months ago).

Amy was on time, prepared, and was very considerate and engaging with my 4 yo daughter who insisted on participating in the design consultation with us. Amy listened to my ideas, took the time to understand what was most important functionally and aesthetically, and asked a series of follow up questions that made me realize that she has clearly done this many times before. She took measurements and photos and said she would have the design to me at specific date. All I had to do was send a survey plot. Amy's design was emailed when she said it would be, and was far better than I could have expected or imagined. The design was not a top-down, 2D mockup, but rather a 3D color, POV animated video walk through so we could see the design from all angles, including from the street so we could visualize the upgraded curb appeal. Amy also sent us the Texas guide for native and adapted landscape plants so we know exactly which plants to buy where to place them per the design, should we end up doing the installation ourselves. All in all excellent service. Highly satisfied. Strongly recommend.

They helped us plan our landscaping project with diagrams and plans. They gave us ample plant selections to choose from along with their expert recommendations. Their entire team was professional, courteous, and highly skilled. They worked long hours, and even made sure to completely clean up the job site at the end of every day! My neighbors even commented how impressed they were with their work and the cleanliness of the area at the end of each work day. Ultimately the work speaks for itself, but they were able to manage xeriscaping, providing plant and trees, installing all new landscaping, amazing stone work, awesome woodworking for a custom lattice system for vining, a drainage audit and complete reconstruction using underground piping and catch basins, review and retrofit of existing irrigation system, planning and installing a custom landscape lighting system including adding new exterior electrical outlets. They handled everything from start to finish without telling me I needed to hire an electrician, or a sprinkler system guy, or anything third party, and the project came out amazing!!! I provided them with a Final Notice of Request for Repair by Certified Mail with Return Receipt, dated June 3rd, 2026. They refused to accept it; therefore, it was returned back to me. As I have been preparing all the necessary documents to file my claim, I discovered that they filed for bankruptcy on 12/29/2025! This explains why they ignored my many requests for warranty repair. I still intend to file my Small Claims, even if I am not able to get reimbursed for the repairs that are required. I will get satisfaction simply from being listed as another one of their creditors. So, if anyone has been in contact with them, or are planning to, for any type of service...BEWARE!

I had earlier…read moreindicated that the roots from the shrub removal were still visible and was informed that the root balls had been extracted and that this was sufficient. While I was setting up Christmas decorations, I observed that one of the bushes has begun to regrow, which seems to be regarded as a miracle since the root ball was supposedly removed! Additionally, I noticed that a considerable portion of the newly installed concrete slab is distinctly discolored due to inconsistent or improper mixing. Unfortunately it seems I will have to resolve this through our court system.

She brought out a brochure that showcased many different designs/styles. We chose some beautiful pavers and she was able to give us a price while she was there. We weren't sure between three colors. We were focused mainly on a combination of two of them, so she offered to bring out samples. When she brought the samples, we went with an entirely different color which looked beautiful with our brick home. Adding on to our existing concrete patio gave us a wonderful place for additional seating and placement of our fountain and barbecue. After a while, about 4 or 5 of the pavers started to settle. Stone Deck came out and temporarily removed them, added more base underneath them, replaced them, and made sure everything was level. We could not have been more pleased with their company.

It took weeks to get the original quote for the landscaping work…read more Have used them for about a year now & they keep billing me for work that I have already paid for and sent screenshots to prove payment. Not really sure why every billing cycle for the last 5 months has been incorrect. Have asked for corrected invoices multiple times and they just don't care enough to correct them. Service is meh. Not any worse than any other mowing service, but for the premium price they charge and the billing aggravation, it should be better than average. They have also left my gate wide open after leaving, so my dogs aren't safe. I will probably end up finding another mowing service if I get one more incorrect invoice.

My backyard was an eyesore. The grass was thin and bald patches are visible where they don't get…read moremuch sun during the summer but yet I still need to mow it. There's also some area that gets too much rain (drainage issue) and the grass is dead because of it and soil got washed away. I reached out to Adrian and before you know it, the crew has transformed my backyard into zero grass space in a matter of days and now I actually like spending time in my backyard. His estimate is reasonable and he is very responsive to questions and changes that I had along the way. His crew always on time each morning and they clean up before they leave each day which is a nice surprise. The project was completed earlier than planned which really made my day!
