There are not enough words to describe the exceptional job Luis did on my car. About a week or so before calling him, I had spilled coffee with milk in my car and the smell was absolutely unbearable. My car was parked on the streets for 3 weeks when I was out of the country, I came back to a strong moldy odor upon opening the door but nothing seemed moist or wet inside. Over the next 3 months the scent got worse and I finally reached out to nearby providers to ask about mold issue. Luis was the first to respond when I sent out quote request around 11pm, and he responded in great details about what the possible causes may be and my options to go about resolving the smell issue. I booked an appointment with him for a quick consultation and he came the next day to assess the car. As he removed the seats and lifted up the carpet, we could both see random spots of black/brown mold underneath the carpet and on the metal frames of the car. Luis explained that this appeared to be flood brown water coming in from the side/bottom, possibly from rain and street parking flooding my car at an angle. Afterward, Luis explained patiently step by step (I asked many questions, because I was both curious and cautious). Everything he explained made logical and financial sense. He tore all the seats and carpets up, then we saw the absorbent padding beneath the carpet was molding too, so he helped me removed them and contacted local supplier to purchase new padding. It didn't make sense to shampoo them at that point because we were worried mold might come back if some left embedded in the padding, as the spread was pretty bad and it was still moist. After taking out everything, shampooing, heat dry, Luis treated my car with ozone to kill the mold by circulating throughout the car and trunk. While he was at it, he was also generous enough to clean the interiors (which other providers may slap an interior detailing fee on top, but he just included it as he was putting everything back). After the ozone, he swapped out for a new cabin air filter and scented the car to offset any lingering ozone odor, which I did not notice much but I did crack the open to air it out for a few hours. The moldy smell has completely disappeared and had not returned thanks to Luis' hard work. A big headache resolved. Luis is punctual, patient, and communicative every step of the way. He's also very polite and understanding, which helped a lot because I'm pretty anxious when it comes to car troubles. I learned a lot from just stepping in occasionally to check up on the status of the process, and he was not stingy about sharing information. Price was reasonable, service was friendly and professional, and I felt like he went the extra mile to make sure the work was satisfactory.
