I thought Jimmy's glass only did auto glass, but they also replaced the glass in my double paned insulated windows from apartment (I had to bring them in) in less than 1 day. All other shops were quoting 7 to 10 days to finish making the windows and significantly higher prices (although their price included in trip visit to measure, remove and 2nd trip to install). If you know how to remove your window, this is the best priced place (ie pivot windows will come out of the window frame, so you can wash windows, you can Google it). Otherwise, Riviera glass in Englewood nj had 2nd best price. They are also very friendly and nice and helped me carry my windows to my car. read more

I had my patio windows replaced (which took too many calls and a lot of agrevation) Anyway Well after finally getting the work done my windows started leaking. I would say I called around 5 times over a few months time. The leak almost started a fire and I had to call an electrician in to cut the lines by the window (at my cost). Finally they sent someone to look and said they would be back to fix the leaks. They never came and now they're not even taking my calls. read more

The worst place ever!!!!! So unorganized and irresponsible!!!! A waste of your time!!!! Save your time and money!!! I called Monday to set up an estimate appt for Wednesday between the hrs of 9am-1pm. Wednesday came by and it was 1220 and no sign of them. I gave them a courtesy call to check their status and the woman Joanne said my appt was for Tuesday (yesterday). I corrected her and told her we both agreed for Wednesday. She then checked her schedule book and did see my appt was for today. She said well the repair guys overlooked your appt and no one is available right now. I find it freaking incredible these people feel we don't have a life and errands to run. I explained to her I stayed home all day waiting for them to come. She said go run your errands and we will call you when someone is around your area. I never got a phonecall. Goes to show you their courtesy and respect level. read more

I think this place should have 10 stars!!! I had an unfortunate accident with the front door of the house in which I rent my apartment on a Saturday morning and was extremely stressed about finding someone to fix the glass in the door all day Saturday and Sunday. I had an appointment with another company to come first thing, 8 am, on Monday morning morning but they failed to tell me that it was only an appointment to give me an estimate and that they wouldn't actually FIX the glass for many days and all the other companies that wrote back wouldn't even consider the job or come by at all. I spoke to Jimmy's Glass at 9:20 am...he was at my house before 10 am to measure the glass, gave me an amazing price/estimate, and returned within the hour to put in the safety glass (replacing much older glass that was out of date and illegal actually) and was done with the whole job before noon. So, the entire process with Jimmy was less than 3 hours and I can rest easy now knowing I paid less than the other estimates, I'm safer, and Jimmy was nothing but courteous and timely!!! I definitely recommend Jimmy's glass for an emergency situation!!!! read more
