I was not impressed with this place- disappointed. For having pizza in its name it was not great. The pizza "buffet" was mediocre and the dough wasn't cooked in the middle of most of the options we got. Our waitress was down right rude and didn't come back to our table- it felt like we were an issue to her. Her behavior doesn't make us ever want to go back. I also couldn't believe her hostility when I asked for a drink menu and it was a rude face look. I wouldn't recommend this place. There are other options that make you feel welcomed! read more

Food was great. Really busy. Loved the LP menus. They were really busy but the service was still top notch. We are in from out of town and randomly picked this place for dinner. So glad we did! We also got the Pretzel Sticks & Cheese. So yummy!! read more

I travel to Galesburg on business about three times a year and I always stop at Jimmy's Pizza. Their pizza has a unique flavour and I think they might sneak small pieces of green pepper under the cheese. I really like the atmosphere and speed of service. They sometimes have a pizza buffet (probably suspended due to COVID) and I don't think it's worth it. They don't have much of a selection so you're better off ordering what you want. read more

Absolutely loved my visit to Jimmy's Pizza! It was a bit slow for a football Sunday, but the atmosphere was nice and relaxing and the service was excellent. Plus, it's right across from the train station, in case you're waiting for a train! They have everything on the menu, from pizza to wraps and their pizza-dilla appetizer is outstanding. Vodka sodas are also only $4! You can't beat that. read more

I tried this pizza restaurant due to last minute impulses, and it was delicious. Their crust has a nice flaky texture to it, it is more on the softer side so if you like crunchier ask for it to be crispy! They load the pizzas up with toppings and it's a great price for the pizzas as well. Inside of the restaurant it has a great aesthetic as well. The service as far as friendliness is above average, and they make sure you are taken care of. Their pizza menu is even on a vinyl record! Easily recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

We've had several different pizzas and several of the sandwiches. All the food was amazing. The service is inconsistent, especially during covid. I called once and asked about delivery and closing. They said I had to order through the delivery app and I had an hour. Went to the app and they hours were t updated so it wouldn't let me order and when I called back, 3 times, less than a minute after speaking to them, they didn't answer. Kind of upsetting. The pizza oven was broke but thank goodness they had a very nice menu of a variety of burgers sandwiches and even some dinner entrées. I really like the size that they provided I had the coleslaw today as an order and it was marvelous. Try to do beer here today. It was good. I will return to try the pizza as the vibe was great. read more

We tried a pizza with traditional toppings. We thought the pizza was just ok, nothing special but not a deal breaker. It smelled better than it tasted. There was something unique that tasted like taco seasoning or sauce, although we didn't order a taco pizza. Couldn't tell if it was in the sausage or in the pizza sauce. Anyway, it had a bite/kick to it and it wasn't unpleasant. But we probably wouldn't get the pizza again as there are a couple other places in the area that are tastier. read more

We came out to Galesburg from California for my sons graduation from Knox. On Sunday June 6th we placed a pick up order for 2 pizzas, wings and 2 salads from Jimmy's . When we got there a nice young lady at the bar charged me for my order and placed it on the bar. I asked for Parmesan, red peppers, plates, napkins and extra ranch, even offered to pay for the ranch. The lady was gathering all my requests and this rude miserable older lady from behind the bar came up and said " wow that's a lot of stuff, looks like everything but the kitchen sink" in a rude tone. Meanwhile I'm thinking those are fairly common requests at a pizza place. The original lady that was helping us walked to grab something else and the mean lady started shaking her head back and forth, as if she was appalled at her co workers actions. I mentioned we only had one salad in the bag and we ordered two and the mean lady said " no I took your order it was one,"then proceeded to start a short argument with me over it being one or two salads that we ordered, rather than just getting me another. I asked the nice young lady for another salad and even though the mean older lady was helping another customer at the bar she turned around quickly and said "you'll need to pay $3.50 more for that" I said " well of course I was going to pay for it!!" The younger lady was very nice and had great customer service but her miserable co worker rudely interrupted, making a negative customer experience. The food was decent, everything was hot, but customer service plays a huge part in if I'll return to a restaurant or recommend it to others so sorry but I don't recommend this restaurant if that woman is there. She's really miserable and you can tell it made not only me and my daughter in law uncomfortable but if I was her co worker I would have been embarrassed by how she represented the business. read more
