I came to be aware of this company because they volunteered time to teach a plumbing session to a…read morelocal children's group. So when it came time to install my home's new gas water heater, I figured these were decent folks to hire. The owner, Ryan was helpful and got me scheduled within an acceptable time frame for the job. Ryan and his brother showed up on time, were conscious of tracking bootprints into our home and were pleasant in conversation, even patiently answering my questions as they dug into the job. Ryan is a Christian man, so I was not surprised, but I was appreciative when he did not rake me over the coals when a faulty pressure reducing valve (PRV) was also discovered to need replacing... which I already suspected was necessary given our monstrous shower water pressure. (...Which my wife was sad to see go!) No plumber is cheap these days, but Revolution Plumbing did charge me less than they could have-especially over that PRV. This is a family owned business and decent folks.

Joseph from Midwest Tree Experts gave us a quote to cut down and remove 1 tree and to trim another…read moretree. They cut the tree down first and while doing so a branch hit our AC unit..bent some of the fins and hit the gutter. They didn't tell us about this but the neighbors saw it and told us the next day after they left. While working on the tree trunk the next day, they left the trunk smash into a retaining wall and broke a cap and cracked some of the blocks. As they were carrying out pieces of wood out of the back yard through the gate on a machine, they guy running the machine left the bucket down on the gate breaking the plastic cap and an upright on the gate. I came outside and they had the gate off the hinges and were trying to see if they could fix it. In the meantime, another worker was trimming the other tree and dropped a branch on the top rail of the fence breaking it. Joseph said he was taking the pieces to a fence place he knew to get replacements. He can back and the place did not have the same rail top but one close so he made it work. They did not have the gate pieces so he put the gate back together and said he had a connection he would reach out to to get replacements. The tree being trimmed was supposed to be dead wooded and trimmed back. They literally cut 4 of the small branches near the bottom. They were packed up and I mentioned how the other tree was not trimmed or cleaned up. He said they would return to trim it the rest of the tre when he came back to repair the gate. I asked about the blocks--these were discontinued when I got the blocks for the area and I informed him of this. He said he take $200 off for the retaining and come back to trim the rest of tree when he fixed the gate. I told him who installed the fence originally and he said he had a connection. I texted him the next day about the tree and gate and he said they would be back. Two months went by and nothing. I texted him again and no reply. Two more months went by and still no reply. After another month and a half I went to a fence place and was able to get gates parts and put them on myself. I called and no answering machine to leave a message so I texted him again telling him I found parts and sent him a copy of the receipt...no reply. I asked him if he was just going send me reimbursement for the parts and for the tree he never finished trimming. No reply. He charged $600 to cut about 4 small branches off the tree and never took the dead wood out or trimmed back the rest of the tree. Still after 7 months there has not been a reply or reimbursement.

The following week, finally they replied. He said he was out of town. He will be by to spray. Now it is April 21st, they didn't show up. I sent another text stating I was going to give them a bad review. They replied back we will be there tomorrow evening. Today is April 28th, still a no show. They don't need to be in this business. Taking advantage of people. Giving the Good people that do want to work look bad. ​
