I was craving a grilled ham and cheese sandwich so I stopped by this place on my way home. First of all the service was very friendly. The lady who helped me was just really sweet. Secondly, the food was really good. Sometimes you crave something and once you get it, it doesn't taste how you want it to taste this grilled ham and cheese was perfect the bread was perfectly toasted and It was buttery. The cheese was good. It was definitely a 10 out of 10. I've passed by the burger stand hundreds of times and this is my first time trying it. The first impression was very good. I've been coming here for over 5 years. It was a lot of people on Sunday morning. My fam and I went to have an early lunch after church. I was waiting to order, then I realized the cook doesn't clean their hand. They touch their head sweat, even touch raw patty before putting on the grilled. But no gloves what so ever, then they touch burger buns, lettuce tomato and other foods. That cross contamination. Two of the ladies that bag everything, they were wearing gloves, but they still touch cash, give receipts but turn around touch the toast and other foods into as bag. That is also violation of cross contamination. So I didn't order at all and left. I don't think I'll ever go back. It make me sick the stomach. I have always love the food from there but I can't eat when the workers can't fallow the health regulations. read more

I wish I could review the food, but sadly the poor customer service kept me from filling my hungry tummy. I've been wanting to try this place for months now. It always seems to have customers at the counter, waiting for food. What kept me away in the past? They had a "B" health department rating for the first 8 months since I moved into the neighborhood. They finally got an A and I've been waiting for the right opportunity to try them. My wife and I picked up our older boy from school today and he immediately yells out that he's sooo hungry. I thought, perfect....Not so perfect. I park and walk into Jim's. Almost every table is occupied and there are 4 people waiting for to-go orders. There are 3 or 4 men working the kitchen and 2 ladies working the counter. No one acknowledges me. Ok, no problem. I wait and wait and wait. Nothing.... I ask other people that were waiting and they tell me they already ordered, so I keep waiting. Nothing. Not a skill, not a wave, not a "We'll be right with you..." Just a lady with shorter, spiky hair with a sour look on her face. Now the other customers that were waiting at the counter are gone. Just 1 lady and me...still nothing. Then I see a customer walk up to the little side window. The lady with the spiky hair rolls her eyes, walks to here and asks is she called in an order. The customer says no and the lady says, no problem, I'll take your order. She takes the order, charges her and starts helping the cooks make her order. I'm standing there like an idiot watching all this and finally decide to leave. Too bad. They don't need my business. My family of 4 would have spent $30 to $40 dollars and would have probably come back to try other things. Now I'll never set foot in this place again. I'm sure the other restaurants in the area would love to earn my money. read more

Jims open it doors around 1976...guessing. Been coming here for years, around 40 yrs. Was our hang out during High School. Just like "Happy Day Days" we hung out to eat, find out where the parties were at or just hang out. After football games and dances.
