As a backyard mechanic with 35 years experience, this is NEVER what a bill should look like for a few minor repairs. this year alone, they've charged me around $12k for repairs that shouldn't have exceeded $4000. I will personally NEVER go back to this place.

Me and my girlfriend went to a restaurant and when I got out of the truck I heard a hissing noise…read moreand found that there was a screw in the tire so we went to auto one and bought a tire plug kit after I plugged the tire in auto zones parking lot and it was good a couple days later the tire was low again so she took the truck to jays automotive and they quoted her 1300 to put 4 new tires on the truck she had them do it and she also asked for the 3 good tires back they literally gave her 2 tires back saying one of them were bad but they gave her the one tire back that had a hole in it that I plugged and after getting the truck back she drove it and it was shaking uncontrollably so she called jays automotive and they told her to drop it off so they could find the issue after 24 hours of having the truck they called and informed her that her transmission was the issue and it needed to be flushed that cost 1200 dollars but there is a national shortage on transmission fluid the same transmission fluid I could purchase at any autozone so she told them no and took the truck to another shop but after getting the truck to another tire shop and had them check it out and they found that the tires were not balanced correctly so instead of 1200 dollars she spent 75 dollars and had her issue fixed the truck is now perfectly operational and has no issues if you are looking for a honest mechanic do not go to jays automotive

Arguing for weeks, just to get my oil covered car back, drive it twice and have my transmission get destroyed. Took it to a better shop where they told me the last person never tensioned down the drain plug properly. Called S&S to him know what happened, just to be berated on how "We do good work! It couldn't of be me! I did it myself!! Do you expect me to buy you a new transmission!?" No refund, no attempt to resolve or aid in him destroying my transmission. Just the usual anger and ego you'll get here. My lawyer told me this isn't the first time this business has come across his desk. I'm convinced these reviews are fake. 2k Parts, 2.5k Labor, 100% regret. Stay clear of this place.
