I have to agree with one of these reviews. Condescending. My family has done business with these people for over 40 years. After twenty years I came back to town during my father's death and had some pieces to be resized. The place has gone down. Jim's jewelers has been my jeweler for a couple of years now I only trust them, we worked over a long period of time to pick out my wedding band and they were very helpful and I will continue to buy from them recently. Jim and his staff are wonderful. Best prices around here. They resized my ring, fixed a broken necklace, and bracelet. Great craftsmanship.

I've been in multiple times, and everyone on the staff is condescending, rude, unfriendly, snobbish, pompous, etc. I gave them a few chances, but I won't be going back again. The jeweler also ruined one of my pieces of jewelry while resizing it; he cut it unevenly, but I can't take any more off to fix it because then it would be too small. They also charged way too much for the amount of labor expended on one of my pieces. Please stay away from this place. They need an attitude check before they deserve anyone's business. The sales staff were condescending and insulting. It was a small diamond and missing out of my wife's watch and I wanted to get it replaced and they said oh they don't put diamond real diamonds on watches like this and when they put it in their machines row and behold it really was a real diamond. They had no clue what they were looking at. read more

I needed my wedding ring resized to losing weight. Decided to go to Jim's. Since I was there I decided to bring my grandmothers ring and see how much and if they could put that diamond in my wedding ring. It was much larger. I had gotten a quote from another local jeweler years ago and it was very pricey. They were able to do it very reasonably and it turned out absolutely beautiful! They do everything in house. My fiancé and I walked in looking for wedding bands after many stores of searching and coming up short. They had a lot more jewelry than we figured they would for being a mom and pop store. A very nice lady named Tammy helped us as I tried on several rings. She was patient with us while I stared at each one indecisively. Meanwhile my fiancé found a ring he liked (miraculously) and it happened to look like a perfect set with the one I was looking at! We eventually decided these were the ones (as we had looked at so many before and never came close)! His ring was an amazing price, mine was just a little more than I had wanted to pay. She explained sometimes they have sales but wasn't sure when the next one would be. No problem, I understand they also need to make money so we put the rings on layaway. Two days later Tammy messaged me letting me know they were having a sale and that my ring happened to be a part of it. She had already re-rang it and gave me the discounted price before messaging me. I am beyond grateful to her and her amazing customer service. She didn't have to do that for me, I never would have known about the sale. My experience at Jim's Jewelers was the best. I brought my eternity wedding band to them to be resized. It's a very a very labor intensive task to resize this type of band. The diamonds must be taken out and the band resized and the new diamonds need to match the old. I was informed by another jeweler this takes several months and it's very hard to do. When I walked into Jim's Jewelers I was instantly greeted and helped out by the staff. The jeweler,Dillon instantly took on the challenge of resizing this ring without hesitation and had it done within two days. I picked my ring up this afternoon and it looks identical to the other eternity band that I wear. They look identical. I want to brag on Dillon and Jim's Jewelers for the turn around time and customer care. If you're nervous about leaving your ring at a jeweler like I was, feel secure in knowing that they will work hard there to get your ring back to you within days or even that day. read more

Jim Jeweler's has still refused to acknowledge that his employee charged me 5 batteries instead of 3 batteries. The #5 handwritten on the jewelry bag represented 5 items for repair not 5 batteries. I went in to get my earrings fixed, other places were quoting me $75-$100 and would take weeks to fix. I went in and they fixed it in 2 seconds, and as a courtesy! They even cleaned them for me. Amazing !! read more

I can't say enough positive about the service I got from Jim's Jewelers about a week ago. I had just purchased an engagement ring for my now Fiancé, and had not yet started the insurance policy on it. The wonderful employees could tell that I was a little nervous to leave the ring behind and after getting some information from me, they asked me to come around the counter and watch as they sized the ring as I waited.
