By doing so we therefore forfeit our opportunity to assist the establishment in question the ability to graduate or progress to a more acceptable level. I owned land outside of Derby for over 17 years. I live 4 hours south. My season in VT is maybe 3-4 months long before the cold sets in. Therefore I am eager (or was eager) to head up north and maintain my property. My relationship with the owner and father of this company deteriorated over the last five years after I purchased one of "their" campers. Over that winter I paid this man every month so that I had a camper in the summer of 2016. I drove up on the day of delivery (May 2016),,"Perry" sat up on my land berating my tardiness all the while exclaiming, "Hunting season opened today and I have to wait for you to get up here". His attitude and language that day was self centered and designed to indicate his importance. I was perhaps 30 minutes late due to construction on White River Junction bridge. This man thereby set the stage for any further discussion between us. The camper had issues many of which were never fixed. TV etc.. A service call is $35.00 dollars,, and that does not include any parts therefore Tim would charge me for a problem that he never fixed from the day I purchased the camper from his dad.. I bought the camper for $6000.00. Tim offered to buy the camper back this year for $1500.00. June of this year after 3 attempts I reached out again and asked when the camper would be opened? "Now you are last on the list". No back peddling, no time to talk it over, no apologies, no negotiations, nope, nada, nothing. His reply was as cold as the winter. Needless to say, I'm done. Today I sold the land and camper to a third party. After that exchange who would or could trust him? Folks: The Northeast Kingdom is beautiful and has some genuine, nice and sweet people besides Tim or Perry who open up campers, and I'm quite certain they will converse with you and conduct business with you in a much more pleasant, civil, peaceful, democratic and economical fashion. "The apple does not fall far from the tree".

The finance guy was rude & pressing for warranties. They listed the camper wrong on the paperwork for insurance/dmv as basecamp for the brand instead of airstream and it listed warranties I didn't receive or want on the sheet in "down payment". They switched the numbers after I bought it. The appointment we had wasn't an appt. "They were busy" with an event was the excuse for why they didn't go over anything with my husband when he picked it up. The camper had a hose not attached from the water heater repairs so when we filled the water tanks it was filling the inside of the camper. When I went to pick up the airstream the first time the water heater had broken and then they found the special water filter (REI version) was also broken. It was supposed to be ready to go. I drove 3 hours to not be able to get the camper home. I paid a lot of money for this camper and they left us high and dry from pickup time. They still haven't fixed the feet or sent us replacement feet. The sewer hose is still broken too. Awful customer service. I agree that they're nice when they're selling it to you and as soon as they're done with the sale and they get the deal, they could care less about you. I would never go there again. My first time buying something on my own and they were terrible to me.
