I sure wish I had seen this rating before we went. My wife and I visited this place on a Friday night around 7 PM on December 6, 2024. They were not very busy. Maybe 3 or 4 tables total. The staff was definitely not in the mood to be there. Their website will have you believe that they might have crab legs on the bar for an extra charge but you have to order them from your server a pound at a time for $10/lb. I was really just there for the sushi bar and mongolian grill. The mongolian was decent but no matter how long I waited, they never added anything fresh or new to the sushi bar (pictured). I asked the young Latino gentlemen cooking my mongolian but he couldn't understand what I was saying. I just gave up. This place is what i would call your typical chinese buffet. Its located in a building that clearly used to be a steak/bbq place as the decor has never been changed. It looks like all they did was add some crystal chandaliers over the buffet area. This doesn't make it bad, but exactly what I would expect! They do have a decent selection of food but unfortunately none of it was hot. It was luke warm at best and by time got back to table and ate it, most of it was cold. The flavors were good but needed to be hotter. Some of the breaded chicken items were 99% breading and 1% chicken. Now, what i will say is the hibachi grill was the best part and had I known at first i woudl have skipped the buffet and just done the hibachi. Decent selection of raw proteins, veggies and noodles and then cooked up for you as you wait. This was the only food i had that was actually hot when i are it. I came here on a Sunday around 5pm with my boyfriend and his mom for the dinner buffet (18.95). We ordered drinks and got seated. When we grabbed our plates we immediately realized we had options entirely comprised of food that had been sitting out for what looked like all day. It was kind of gross. Got there and hour before close, I get it, it's closing time everybody is ready to go home. First thing lady at the front says "we are closing at 9:45" without a welcome in or how are yall doing, I wanted to leave immediately since she obviously didn't want the business. Family wanted to stay and just eat since we were already there and it wouldn't take long to eat. Food on the bar was limited, as expected, and also disgusting for the most part. Service sucked, food sucked, prices absolutely sucked. They charged every one of us full price for this half a** buffet, not everything was on the buffet, and even charged two children who ate little to nothing full price as well. I should have known based on the reviews that it wouldn't be great, but it gained another star back because the food variety fit the needs of our large party. I found that though it's an asian buffet, the American food was much better. We went on a Monday and there were little to none fresh seafood options. For a buffet by the water...you would hope for at least that. The restaurant didn't feel very clean either and deterred me from wanting to spend too long there. The hostess was not very nice to us, but maybe she was having a bad day. She kept emphasizing that any food we don't finish, we'd have to pay to to go fee....we had a group of elderly and toddlers so I guess that's why she said that, but it didn't leave a good impression. For the price we paid, there were much better options around. However, this doesn't deter me from the Jin Jin chain because I've had a really good experience at some of the others. read more

The booth had a sizeable rip in the vinyl, as did a lot of the others. The food was not the best, I've had much better Chinese food, and it was below average at best. I sampled a bite of quite a few different things. The sushi was OK as was the General Tso's. The Crab Rangoon was a disappointment. I tasted little crab, if any. It was mostly just cream cheese. The egg rolls were pretty much tasteless My sister said her Lo Mein was just plain nasty and didn't taste right. My nephew commented that the fries he got were cold and unsalted, and the dessert, which looked like some type of brownie, was dry and tasted like sand. Then came the bill. For $70, I could have ordered enough food from the Chinese restaurant in Graceville near my home to feed the three of us for three days! I was definitely not expecting the buffet to be that expensive, considering the quality of the food wasn't that great. Expensive lesson learned, never again. Not anything super you have to pay $9.99/lb for crab legs with your server. 2 shrimp dishes on the line. Pricey, but very good food. We were in PCB for vacation looking for something to eat with our three kids. We were going to go to Pineapple Willy's, but it was SUPER crowded. We saw a sign for this restaurant, and it had crab legs, so we gave it a try. Now, the crab leg sign is misleading because, although it's a buffet, crab legs are not included in that. They are 9.99/lb, so keep that in mind if you're coming here expecting to get crab legs as a part of the buffet. Our kids are 13, 10, and 8, and we paid full price ($18.95) for the two older kids and 8.95 for our youngest. This does not include the drinks. Those were an extra $2.89 or so. The food was surprisingly good. I don't typically like Chinese buffets because the food always tastes low quality, but I really enjoyed everything I ate, including rice noodles, corn fritters, macaroni and cheese, and crab Rangoon. The ambiance was casual, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. We're glad we chose Jin Jin, and if I was from here, I would go again. read more

My husband and I frequent Chinese and seafood buffets, so I'm pretty much an expert in these types of places. We will be back - the food was tasty and hot, service was good and ice cream was creamy. This review was based on a pre-Covid visit. The Steakhouse decor was dated and did not fit the modern Chinese theme. The decor seemed to be from a former business at that location that had not been updated when Jin Jin moved in. We had great service and had tea refilled a dozen times for my husband. The bathrooms needed attention because the floors were sticky. The toilet paper supplies were there, but there was also almost a half roll of brown paper towels in the stall - and large pieces of clean paper towels on the floor around the commode. Although the schedule on the wall indicated someone had checked the bathroom five minutes earlier- and for the next hour... evidently the records were fabricated. We had plenty of service with the waiter removing dirty plates and bringing us crackers for the crab legs. The Crab legs were sufficient and refilled often - although we were limited to 6 per trip. The steam tables were nice and hot with steam rolling off of them. The food was generally good although the rice in the rice cooker tasted like it had been siting there awhile and the rice was hard. The baby clams and the crab legs were the best. Sushi were adequate sized and beautiful- although once the tongs were used for multiple sushi and contaminated with sauce, and not cleaned or replaced. Beer and wine are available. A banquet room was available for groups. There were a few limited vegan options. There were vegetarian options in the hibachi area. The staff ate from the bar and took their breaks with other diners in the dining room which seemed unusual. We likely will be back because my husband loved it. I thought the food was fresh, hot, and plentiful. Stars were subtracted for the messy bathroom and for the mixed decor and badly torn or broken vinyl seats in the booths across from our table. read more
