It's fair to say if I ate here over 2 weeks ago and am still dreaming about the food (especially the green curry sauce) this place is a safe bet! JIN is located just past the main entrance of the outlet mall on the right side of HWY 16. If you like your curry spicy order the green! The sushi and sashimi selections are wonderful too. Wow! Color me surprised at how good this place is. Our family went in for lunch and got some of the specials which included sushi rolls. Food was delicious and the prices were great! We managed to feed a family of 4 for under $50. Very hard to go out to eat nowadays and not spend more than that. Very yummy place in St. Augustine. We recently went for the Christmas break and were not sure what to eat. We looked up reviews and came across this restaurant. We are so happy we went. The name says Hibachi but there's no real Hibachi tables... HOWEVER the taste of the food and the customer service absolutely makes up for it. I'm surprised this place doesn't have that many reviews. I'm guessing is either very new or maybe is the fact the new owners haven't changed the old signage up. The restaurant is located at the shoppes at mill creekplace is nice and clean and the staff was attentive and friendly. The food was really nice. Some plates were amazing others not so much. The gyozas, the house salad and the wonton soup were amazing! Very fresh and super flavorful! The hibachi lunch was really nice too! The steak was tender and really well seasoned. The rice was fresh and good! The pad Thai on the other hand was a little to sweet for my taste but the shrimps were cook perfectly! The sushi was really the downside of the meal. Too much sauce, so you really don't get to enjoy the actual roll because the only thing you are able to taste is the eel sauce and spicy mayo. Maybe next time I visit St. Augustine, I'll just ask the sauce to be put on the side. Overall not a bad place to go when you are hungry after a shooting day! read more

Do not waste your time or your money here. Worst service and dinner in Saint Augustine. Our friends food was cold. They both ordered cooked dishes. They had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for sometime because the broth and sauce actually separated. When they asked to have it fixed they just threw it in the microwave and brought out the exact same plate and it was still cold. The microwave just made the shrimp unbelievably tough. Our friends wife ordered steak and lobster medium rare. The steak was well done and the lobster was cold just like her husband's plate above. My wife and I just ordered straight up sushi so it is supposed to be cold although they did make it and have it sit behind the bar for about 20 minutes while the other plates were being made. With so many other good sushi places around like the green papaya or wasabi don't waste your money here. read more

Lacking in service. I did not feel welcome even though at one point I was the only table there for lunch. I felt the sushi was just average. Cream cheese overpowered the JBL roll and the spicy tuna and spicy yellowtail weren't spicy, and the fish portions themselves were minced. The temperature of all the rolls was slightly warm as well. The food was good but very small portions. The rolls were very thin, like the size that you get at a buffet. Our waitress never spoke a word to us. She was very rude. Didn't bring us plates without being asked. Didn't ask if we needed anything, I always had to ask, as she walked away from handing us whatever she brought, for the things we still needed. That waitress was very unpleasant. Just the looks she gave us when we walked in alone was enough. It wasn't just our waitress though!
