Sex On The Beach Roll and Escolar Roll

Genuinely so yums. Made me pat my tummy it was so yummy. My boyfriend had the Steak Yaki Udon, he really enjoyed it but I found that they used a tad too much sesame oil. But if he's happy that's okay. Sex on the beach was bomb.com and you could tell the escolar was fresh.

I got sweet potato rolls to go. I liked them. I usually get that from another sushi place. Tanks was $2 more and they were slightly smaller. The other place also includes soup and salad. Tbh, I'm not sure if Tabk's does too if I had eaten in person. They might. But I definitely feel like I get more bang for my buck at my usual place.

Delicious Japanese place in Saint Augustine. Ordered the shrimp tempura and world golf roll. I don't east spicy tuna so they were kind enough to make it with regular just for me. Everything was crispy yet delicious and rolled to perfection. We were even given 2 pieces of fried roll as a start. The waitress was so kind enough to give us extra vegetables with the salmon teriyaki dinner which was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The clear soup was flavorful and amazing g as well. New favorite sushi place in Saint Augustine!

I go here regularly with my four-year-old and have after school lunch. It's one of our favorite spots. You definitely have to try the Kani salad and one thing I love about their sushi is that it's super fresh.

Everything was so amazingly delicious. Tried the sea urchin from Japan, sashimi, fancy dragon, Tomo, angry dragon, and salmon skin roll. Would definitely come back again soon.

    Dinosaur Egg Salad

The most amazing meal I have had in my life. Don't skimp indulge!!! Start with the complimentary piece of spring roll with duck sauce (perfection)...the dinosaur egg salad (Devine)...the spicy crab roll (give me ten of them)...finish with the phoenix roll recommended by the waiter (epic finish and your taste buds will sing) I'm heading to dessert I think there isn't anything that doesn't taste good here. Also get a freaking ginger ale. Chefs kiss!!!

Great food. For the price it was super good. Food was ready when I arrived after ordering within 15 minutes. Massive pieces of fish for small rolls. Very good will be ordering again.

January 1st, sushi option never the less to start the year. We are addicted to this place. We loved the quality of the food here, and the great menu. They have a professional staff that makes you feel so welcome. This time we got to see the "lucky girl" sushi roll. And we will keep coming.

It was very empty but we did go on a Thursday afternoon. We tried the shrimp special, gator bites, ahi tuna, and fried green tomatoes. Our food was great reasonably priced. There's a huge full service bar area and a spacious dining room for date night for two and large celebrations on their outside deck overlooking a lake brim full of turtles, fish, gators, birds and all kinds of native Florida wildlife set against views that capture all that's great about living in Northeast Florida. Really amazing! Our server, Susan, was outstanding! She's the one who makes the coleslaw whenever she's on schedule and it's absolutely delicious. I highly recommend. I went on Sunday with my family and we all got the special of about 20 shrimp anyway you like them cooked: fried, steamed or blackened for $16.99 (@ the time I'm writing this review). We all went for the fried shrimp dinner. I chose the fries as my other side and added the unlimited salad bar for just $2.99 more. The salad bar had everything I love about an AYCE salad buffet and it's definitely worth the add. 5-STARS for their classic ranch dressing! And the balsamic dressing, blue cheese dressing and French dressing was excellent, too. They offer a few others, but I didn't try them. I have to have ranch with my fries and I grabbed a bowl of it from the salad bar. I washed it all down with some of their classic Southern sweet tea and I was too full for the Key Lime Pie on special for the day. Next time... After our meal, we went out of the deck to feed the turtles, fish and other wildlife and snap some photos to share. Overall, it was a fantastic meal. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and fried. The service was fast, friendly and professional. And the scenery was truly gorgeous. Yea, I'm probably going to celebrate my birthday here this year.

The restaurant needs a sign on SR13, as it is easy to pass. I arrived on a Tuesday afternoon to a nearly full parking lot. Interestingly, there were very few folks there. They should expand the parking lot. I can't imagine finding parking during busy periods. The restaurant was large and nautically decorated, but not tacky. Outdoor deck was a nice size, with overhead fans that minimized the heat. Dining area and ladies' restroom were clean. Service was friendly, efficient, and enjoyable. As soon as I entered, I was greeted. Shortly thereafter, I was shown to a table, told the specials, and given time to place an order. The calamari dish was excellent -- dare I say better than Julington Creek. The Tuesday 20-Piece Shrimp Dinner w/ One Side ($19.99) was a great deal. Shrimp were served piping hot with tarter sauce, sweet chili sauce, and bang bang sauce. Shrimp Shack uses better seasoning on their fried shrimp. But Outback Crab Shack shrimp are huge; taste fresher; and can be served grilled, blackened, or fried. I prefer sides like hush puppies, vinegary slaw, or mac & cheese, but the side of fries were fresh, hot, and plentiful. I was too full for dessert. Maybe next time...

They were very good and perfect for ketchup and other sauces. I'm always glad when a fish fry place has malt vinegar available. That means they're serious! Lol. The fish is lightly breaded and very flaky. The coleslaw is creamy and sweet. I didn't try the clam strips, but they looked good! And the tacos were very tasty! The restaurant is super clean! They are located in the plaza on 210 where Grumpy's is located (but it's tucked away in a corner back by the cigar bar). They have some yard signs in the plaza that advertise a $10 lunch special. When we walked in, we went to the counter and checked out their lunch specials. The $10 lunch special includes a main, fries, and a drink. Some of the items on the lunch special were a fish fry, fish tacos, clam roll, shrimp roll, etc. I ordered the fish tacos, my dad ordered the fish fry, and my mom got a clam roll. Everything was made to order. Our items came out roughly 7 minutes after we ordered. For $10 you get a sizeable fish fry, for $10 you get two fish tacos and a plentiful side of fries, and the clam roll was chockfull of clam strips. The fish was perfectly fried. It wasn't heavy, it was light and crisp. I loved the addition of the remoulade sauce. The fries were delicious. I would definitely come back here again.

Exceptional Service, Fresh Seafood, and a Perfect Waterfront Atmosphere…read more My wife and I had one of the best dining experiences we've ever had at The Boathouse in St Augustine. We sat outside on the deck overlooking the water, and the atmosphere alone was worth the visit. To make it even better, a sweet, friendly kitty joined us and rested at our feet while we ate. She was gentle, lovable, and happy to let us pet her, a perfect little addition to an already beautiful afternoon. From the moment we arrived, the staff was outstanding. The hostess seated us immediately, and our server, Tom, was exceptional. He kept our drinks full, checked in just enough without ever interrupting, and always kept an eye on our table as he walked by. His attention to detail was impressive. I ordered the stuffed grouper, and it was phenomenal! Clearly fresh, perfectly seasoned, white and flaky, with a decadent crab stuffing that set the dish apart. My wife had the shrimp skewer salad and loved every bite. The shrimp were fresh, tender, and prepared perfectly. During our meal, I mentioned to Tom that shrimp and grits is my traditional go‑to dish. Even though I didn't order it, Tom surprised us with a complimentary serving of shrimp and grits from Chef Mike! Let me tell you, it was easily the most unique and delicious shrimp and grits I've ever had. The dish included onions and a layer of perfectly seasoned collard greens beneath creamy, balanced grits and fresh, succulent shrimp. We added it to our meal and finished every bite. Just when we thought we couldn't eat another thing, Tom asked if we saved room for dessert. We hadn't; but when he told us about their locally made key lime pie, we had to try it. It was incredible: perfectly tart, perfectly sweet, the crust was amazing and the ideal size for two people to share. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. I strongly recommend The Boathouse; try the stuffed grouper, the shrimp and grits, or the shrimp skewer salad if you want something lighter. And whatever you do, save room for the best key lime pie you'll find anywhere in Florida.

This was my first time here, but I came with friends who had been here several times. The chicken wrap smelled outstanding and looked great. Very robust with chicken! The meatloaf my friend said was phenomenal and interestingly enough they do make it with milk. The Philly cheesesteak looked really great. The chicken pot pie however I will say was definitely not a fan favorite here. I had a different vision of pot pie, which this was not it rather it was the fact on the salty side from me. Not sure what the base was but flavor wise it definitely was not for me. But on a positive note, it was made with white meat chicken. The biscuit on top not a fan favored either. Which leads me to a very funny situation: A gentleman showed up at our table like 30 seconds later and said "Hi, I hear you guys go to University Diner? Do you know Andrew? He's my son". We were like "YES! We know Andy!" but the funnier thing was like Lauren had a revelation and said "OH! THAT'S why I love this breakfast burrito so much!"
