The lunch menu is a great deal where you can order a full plate of a protein of your choice, including tofu, prepared in a variety of ways. I've been twice and ordered the pad Thai and found it delicious both times. I opted for the tofu and veggies. The vegetables were lightly cooked so that they were neither over or under done. The tofu was lightly crisped and absorbed the seasoning well. Lunch was only $12.95 for a generous portion. I was able to eat the leftovers for dinner. Service is prompt and friendly. It's really sad to me how the quality has declined here. I had a draft waiting here, just to try it out again and make sure it wasn't an off day. What once seemed really fresh now is often greasy. Myself and two of my friends have been driving for 9 hours, starving, and decided to go out of our way for Thai food because this place looked good. Big mistake. We ordered three Pad See Ew dishes, two at spice level 2 out of 5 and one at 3 out of 5. Hands down, this was the worst Pad See Ew I've ever had. Absolutely no flavor. The spice was not even mixed in, it was lazily sprinkled on top. Even after mixing it myself, still zero taste. Nearly 20 dollars for one Pad See Ew and they could not get the basics right. No egg, barely any vegetables, and the noodles were pale and lifeless. Calling it Pad See Ew feels generous. Don't know how they have 4.3 stars, I must just be an unlucky guy I guess! The only thing they served in abundance was disappointment. We went out of our way for this, and it was not worth it. Would not return. read more

I arrived 45 minutes later, thinking that 45 minutes would be ample time. Wrong! I was told that they had even started the cooking. I was then told 20 -25 minutes. 45 minutes later it was finally ready. Wow! We went there by ordering a ton of dishes to figure out if this was a return spot, and yes it is! The duck pad thai was perfect! I would recommend eating it there and not doing it as a take out. The noodles seem to dry up on the drive home. The flavors were perfect and the duck was moist! The crispy pork belly looked dry and plain. As looks were deceiving, the pork was perfectly seasoned and moist with every bite! The curry was not overly spicy, it was sweet and seasoned just right! It comes topped with duck which was a perfect addition! Warning ‼ The mango sticky rice has a quantity per day. When they run out, they are out! It as to die for! The rice was rich with flavor and the mango is never sour. We normally grab three every time we are there. The service was on time, suggestive service was perfect, and if you can, see if Mike is available to serve you. He was quick and on it with his suggestions of the food. However I have to give fair warning about the spice, when we first placed our order, the server asked what spice level myself and my friend wanted, the levels were 1-5. The food here is very very good. It is fresh, reasonably priced, and I could eat here seven days a week. My friend was running late and I was starving so ordered the crispy tofu appetizer and the server was so friendly to chat with me because I was still alone. I used to love this restaurant but my recent experience has me thinking I'll never go back. What happened to the cook who used to work there? The food was terrible and tasteless, the service was awful, the portions are meager, the prices are higher. All around a bad experience. Jinda Thai has passed the test of time and has proven to serve high quality food consistently. I now frequent Jinda at least once a week (when in town). I had an early diiner there today, dined in. I was really torn about our experience with this place. The food is great! Although there are a few key things that I had hoped would happen, and they didn't. 1. Thai food is spicy, that's to be expected. But this is one of the Thai places that will let you suffer without water for awhile while you eat. I feel like Thai restaurants are always either extreme water-watchers (knowing that not everyone is as prepared for Thai spice), or the forget-about-your-water places. I like spicy and usually do a middle spice option, like a 3 out of 5. However, I did the Pad Thai and chose a 2 to be on the safe side, and my mouth was on fire. A TWO! So, it was definitely uncomfortable to not have enough water to make it through mine. We probably should have just had a pitcher, ha. My husband, who really loves spicy, went for a 4/5, and he was literally tearing up (but loving it). So beware the spice levels are probably a bit hotter than you anticipate. - The Thai Ice Tea here is perfection, and I was so thankful for it this visit. 2. There were basically three waitstaff up front, and when we went in on a Friday afternoon (after being ignored at the door for little while), it was just three couples, and the staff spent most of their time chatting, loudly. They were nice, but not very helpful. There were a lot of other great options on the menu I'd love to try, if I go back in the future, I guess I'll just order the level 1 spice, bring my own water bottle as back up ... and sit next to the window so I don't have to hear the awkward staff banter. read more
