    Lamb Curry
    Sean M.

Last time we ordered online the lamb curry came filled with meat (definitely worth $20 for a meal) and was very good. Decided to come back for Easter Sunday and had to order to go and got the same thing. This time though we got 7 pieces of meat in a $20 curry entree. We bought two entrees, plus garlic naan and a drink. And based off the previous time, we thought we'd have enough to share for a family of three. Paid over $50 plus tipped to get home and open our meal up to this. This was coming out of a 10 hour work shift too so we were very hungry. Pretty disappointed with the portion size this time and inconsistent quality. Made us question whether to return this time... flavor was still super good, but had to leave a review because of the way we're feeling about the portion size, especially considering what we paid.

Can it recall name of this okra dish. Too mild.

Tried this for the first time wanting to like it but it was bland at best. The flavor profile was lacking, not spicy at all. I like to eat Indian food that is bursting with spices and while I could see they used cumin and some turmeric, I couldn't taste the garlic or ginger that was advertised with my dish. The chai was good, but came in a small cup with no refills. My friend that I ate with was vomiting within hours after eating a chicken dish. Maybe it was just a coincidence. The service was decent, server was friendly. Place looked clean. But I go out to eat delicious food that I'm not skilled at making at home, not boring, expensive food.

We went here for the lunch buffet at 1 in the afternoon. There was no one else there. The restaurant was very clean. We tried every dish the buffet offered. I am not a fan of Indian food because the spices are too much for me. I could eat every single dish because there was no heat whatsoever. The flavors were very unique though and delicious. The rice was burnt and crunchy. There wasn't much meat in the dishes. The naan bread is not like normal naan bread and was crunchy and greasy. It was worth the cost but not what we would call normal Indian heat and flavors.

    Multiple servings from buffet.

I ate there recently for lunch. It is a buffet style. $20. Multiple dishes, a salad, and garlic naan. Spice level is about a 2/5 for most dishes. A few was 4/5. The waiter came around several times to make sure the group was satisfied.

    Lunch buffet bar

We were here on Sunday for the lunch buffet. Food was very good, had good variety of curry. My favorite was the lamb curry and mint chutney. $15 per person and mango lassi is included. What a great deal

I am not in any way trying to be mean the waitress was nice... the food was disappointing to say the least. I literally had to try the CHICKEN TIKI MASALA twice to make sure i was actually eating something. It was so insanely flavorless... it's Chicken tiki masala... one of the most flavor filled dishes i've ever tried. The chutney was also a let down... chutney is one of my favorite things on earth. I wouldn't even consider it as "Indian" cuisine. The service was very slow. Again not trying to shit on this place but I do not want others to be let down in the way we have been. In the picture is our finished meal because it was that intolerable.

This place has an amazing lunch buffet. I'm celiac (gluten free) and Staff members walked me through every single dish and what was in it. All the sauces were gluten free. Food was great. It's not very spicy Indian food but it is flavorful. I think this place is super up and coming. Only two buffet items were not gluten free because they couldn't guarantee the fryer wasn't gluten free. Lastly, the bar looks amazing! They said they will probably start a happy hour soon when they hire more staff.

    Buffet!

I had the buffet last Thursday. I loved the food!! There were some nice creamy and tasty curries. I enjoyed every dish I had and will definitely be back when I'm back in the area.

Chicken Takka Masala and a Vegetarian choice with smashed eggplant!

This quaint little place is definitely a nice gem! If you're traveling through don't hesitate to come by the StageStop Pizza! You won't be disappointed in any way. I ordered the 3 Cheese Calzone and it came with a small cup of extra sauce! Which was perfect and chilled which added to the dynamics of the hot calzone! I can't remember the last time I even wanted to finish a calzone! Was a short wait for the food. Music playing in background was a vibe. They had the games on so was great to just sit back relax and eat some quality local handmade food. Calzone: 10/10 Ingredients were fresh, dough was cooked perfectly. Had that crunchy bite with softer doughy center and the cheese and sauce came out slowly. Worth the drive, worth the time and the value mixed with quality you can't beat.

Reservation confirmation said, that door opens at 6:30pm and dinner service starts at 7pm. Phew, I'm sometimes bad with predicting the traffic patterns, so that gives you a little cushion. AND I arrived at 6:30pm on the dot. Ha! Plenty of street parking, but I wasn't sure I was in the right place since there was no sign. But, the building's number is clearly marked. So I stepped inside. There was music playing from the back of the building and I just kept moving towards the music. After 2 doorways, my husband remarked it was like we were entering a speakeasy. We stepped into a living room and proceeded through another doorway to find an open kitchen and jaw dropping red alder dining table. Standing in the kitchen was Chef Riley Eckersley and he greeted us like we were old friends. He had a couple of cocktails ready to pour and explained his concept of his place that has only been open for 3 weeks. Imagine an intimate dinner party (6 guests the night I was there) gathering for conversation while being taken on a culinary journey around Oregon. Throughout the evening, every detail was carefully curated, from the ingredients (from the coast to the mountains, he covered every corner), to the plating, music, and drinks (everything from mezcal, sake, orange wine, etc). The whole experience lasts 2 1/2-3 hours and I enjoyed every minute. I will certainly return as the menu changes with the seasons of Oregon. We began the evening as strangers, and ended as close friends.

It was difficult for many guests to move between the tables. During our visit, I saw at least three older customers struggling to navigate the narrow aisles, and one woman on crutches had a particularly hard time getting through. Accessibility is definitely an area that could use some attention. The restrooms were also located outside and, unfortunately, were quite dingy and in need of a thorough cleaning. For lunch, we ordered the fish and chips special, crab cakes, and clam chowder. The clam chowder was the biggest disappointment-there was very little seafood and it was mostly potatoes. The crab cakes were also far too salty. I understand that crab cakes are often seasoned aggressively, but these crossed into territory that made them difficult to enjoy. The fish and chips ended up being the saving grace of the meal: crispy, flavorful, and easily the best dish we ordered. We also shared a kombucha, which was refreshing and paired nicely with lunch. Pricing was reasonable, but for me the food quality and execution didn't quite justify the reputation. Parking was also challenging, especially during the busy lunch rush. Overall, it was an average experience with a few bright spots, but there's definitely room for improvement

The guy handing out orders was a sort of "Dandy Burger meets Seinfeld's Soup Nazi." This place takes its ordering for a maximum of two policy VERY seriously (I'll tell you that for free). It's a good thing my daughter has a habit of keeping her pre-school student ID on her or I don't know what would've happened! Regardless of the guy's having the bedside manner of a prison doctor, I couldn't help but leave with a smile. Have you ever seen someone and thought "I think I know that guys mustache." Not, like a "hey, that guy has a Tom Selleck mustache" and more like a "that mustache looks like it's won world titles." Anyway... the food. I much prefer the way the Jews handle their red onions over the Greeks. Growing up, my mom showed me a trick on how to take the punch out of red onions. She always said she learned it years ago from a wise Yiddish woman, but I'm not so sure that she didn't just Google it. All that to say, the onions were a bit hot. I'd like to tell you how good the Musubi was, but apparently the first customer gets a bonus loaf of Challah! My daughter and I were so excited that we drove off without making sure we had our Musubi. I'm guessing the next customer threw a party when they ended up with extra. Overall, the experience was unique and the food was great! Looking forward to the next one.
