It was ok. Not as good as all the reviews. I had fresh tofu salad rolls and chicken green curry. Owner/waiter/cashier was not very friendly. But she was friendly and nice to a table of locals and a lady scheduling a party. The curry was a green watery sauce with plenty of chicken and vegetables. Wud have been perfect if the sauce was thick. The salad rolls were hard and tightly packed. Not wat usually gets made in thai restaurants. Peanut sauce was good. read more

We had an amazing experience here, we were seated upon arrival and had our orders taken very quickly and food came out very quickly as well. I had chicken pad thai and it was delicious and my sister in law had Tom Yum and it was also very good. The person taking our order and serving us was very kind as well. We decided to try this new place in town approximately 2 weeks after its opening in late July. The owners at one time (so the legend goes) had a food truck. They were gone for several years and have returned and are now in this brick and mortar. The space is a little obscure, so slow down and look closely. Once you find it, you won't miss it again. Haha! Once inside, there is ample seating. We were not offered a seat but told (by the woman at the counter by pointed finger) to take the table by the door. Clean but relatively sparse. They have lovely ceiling fans but they were not being used when we came and it was HOT! During our meal there was a steady in and out of both dine in and take out customers. The waitstaff was clearly pressed for time and we weren't offered an opportunity to make a drink order. We were however given water. Thankfully, Jefferson has decent water and that cannot be said for every town. We waited roughly 15 minutes to have our order taken. We ordered apps and entrees both for a party of 5. There was a clear language barrier in our ordering, which for the hearing impaired (there are two of us) is even more challenging. We couldn't ask questions really. We did try but the woman was unsure of what we were saying. It was due to having the menus in hand and being able to point at what we wanted that we had any success. Once our food began arriving, we were pleased with the appearance of our appetizers. The portions were appropriate and worth the price on the menu. Their crab Rangoon was delicious! Once we polished off the apps, our entrees came and they were lovely. What pretty food (as you can see by the pictures). Tasted pretty good but we had a few issues. The vegetables were very raw. They were hot but not soft by any means. The kitchen was obviously rushing their cook on their plates due to the number of customers both coming in and placing to go orders. The orange chicken was very crunchy and a bit hard. Additionally, the sauce was thin and headed straight for the bottom of the plate, so having a side of the orange sauce would have been nice but we were hard pressed to ask given the existing language barrier. As well, the sauce was a bit bland. Overall, I would say that despite all of the great hype on the city's FB pages about the food, we did not have the experience we were expecting. We don't plan to return unless it is to make a to go order for appetizers. It's unfortunate that we weren't able to easily order and ask questions. I would not discourage anyone from going but I would let them know to make known their preference on the cook of the veggies as well as ordering a side of sauce for items like the orange chicken. Oh and maybe order two orders of Rangoon! read more

This place is amazing. Great food, great customer service. They accidentally gave us the wrong to go order and called us before we made it home to realize. They told us obviously to keep the food they gave us and ours was ready to go too. She was super apologetic and sweet. And of course all of the food was delicious. The order they gave us extra had curry soup and it was amazing. I will have to add that to our future orders. This place is such a great Gem hidden away in this quaint little town. I will definitely drive from Albany in the future for the best Thai food. read more

Great service and the food was delicious. It was a cold day and cool enough inside that I was comfortable with my jacket on.

Good food, reasonable prices, nice and accommodating owners. The place looked rather dumpy but the food is the attraction.
