Large burger pizza. 2 orders of chicken tenders and a large fry. 2 tiny cups of dipping sauce.
    Diane B.

Jittos has lost their minds. Ive been going there since 1979 spent $40+ on Pizza, chicken tenders and fries. When i picked up i asked if the dipping sauce was in there for the chicken and if not i wanted blue cheese. I was informed i needed to pay 50 cents per cup if i wanted any..i had already paid for my order. I told them i never get charged for this and what about ketchup. Was told it would be an additional cost as well. I needed something for the chicken tenders had to find my visa card and pay a whopping $1.09 with tax for dipping sauce for my 2 orders of chicken. Complete insult when i just paid $40+ for food and go there bi weekly since im a local. Wont be wasting my money there anymore and its not about the money as much as it was an inconvenience at the time as well as the principle . Ive been going here regularly since 1979 and expect better service than this.

The Steak Bomb here is literally SUPREME! Add the sweet potato fries and you are in for a treat!!!

The atmosphere here is extremely reminiscent of a Philly steak bomb joint. The food is perfect for an afternoon of hanging out with friends after a long week. Plus side, the service here is fantastic!! The bartender is very attentive and makes you feel at home.

the steak home pizza was terrible. very minimal toppings. Old owner made it better. Staff seems to not care about quality.

Updating my review as we had a pretty disappointing visit to Jumping Jays a few weeks back. This…read morehas always been a solid restaurant which we have enjoyed and recommend without hesitation for the past 25 years, since they opened. With that in mind, we had visitors from NJ who wanted a seafood dinner, and so I suggested we meet at Jumping Jays. Our server was pleasant and our appetizers came out promptly and were good. Unfortunately all 5 entrees were not good as everything was very overcooked. The halibut dishes, salmon, scallops, all overcooked and dried out fish and scallops like rubber. Our waitress asked how things were and I said OK as we did not want to make a big to do, as our friends were picking up the tab. I was so embarrassed that I took them here. I did ask my friend about his fish and he said "dried out". Uggh. I did reach out to the restaurant directly on their website via email shortly after, but there was no response. Not sure what to make of that either. Every restaurant might have a bad night, but 5 bad entrees? I am hoping this is a short term problem. We had some other friends who joined us for the original review I wrote and asked to go back here, but I declined saying something is off right now. I hope my experience was a one off, but I'll watch the reviews here before I return and will not be able to recommend this restaurant going forward.

This was one of the best meals I've had in a while. The food, the service, and the ambiance were…read moreall excellent! It was our first time here. I loved the menu from the first look. A great selection of seafood apps, and a variety of meat options in the entree section (steak, chicken, lamb, short rib, duck) and a couple of vegetarian items. Something for everyone. It was a Tuesday night and pouring rain. We arrived without a reservation. It was very busy. The bar and restaurant were full. There were two side bar seats available which we happily took while we waited for a table. We had a delicious cosmo and a glass of prosecco while we waited. The server let us know our table was ready, and we did not need to settle our bar tab before going to the table. I love that! I find it inconvenient when restaurants ask people to do that. The server even took our sopping umbrellas and put them in the umbrella stand by the door for us. So nice! We tried 2 appetizers, the Caribbean Curry Mussels and the Seared Ahi Tuna. I can't decide which one I loved more. Both were fantastic. The broth the mussels were in was so flavorful, rich, salty, not spicy, coconut deliciousness. I wanted to eat it all like a soup. There was no bread served with the mussels to soak up the broth...which I would have loved, but not having it did save me some carbs. The seared tuna was absolute perfection. Very slightly seared and served with a well dressed seaweed salad and two sauces (coulis style ) a charred jalapeño aioli and a mango coulis. For dinner we shared the arugula salad with strawberries and goat cheese (although there was very little goat cheese) in a delicious poppy seed vinaigrette, and the miso Marinaded seared salmon with sticky rice and mango salsa. The salmon was fantastic...perfectly cooked, very flavorful, the sticky rice was so delicious and chewy, and the mango salsa added sweetness. I love that they split the salad into two dishes for us. I love when restaurants do this. It's a nice touch to acknowledge the server was listening the we intend to share, and to make it easier for us to do so. And we shared a bottle of Pinot Grigio. I will be back!

Make sure to book a reservation as this place is really busy and popular!…read more Items I ordered (as of 5/2026): - Lobster Mac and Cheese - $34 - This was really good. Fresh lobster with a great cheese combination. The crisp of the ritz crackers really brings the entire dish together. Good amount for the price. Would recommend. - Baked Artichoke Dip - $16 - Deliciously cheesy without everything feeling too heavy. Good amount of pita bread too! Would also order this again.

What the heck!…read moreWhile I'm kicking myself for not coming earlier, I am now very happy that I know this spot is perfect in every way! So I got the hot lobster roll and my boyfriend got the cold lobster roll (not pictured sadly). Personally, I prefer a warm buttery roll, but he loved his cold roll and said it was perfectly seasoned. You get a good amount of lobster and it's $30. The line... omg it was out the door and soooo long. But trust me. Stay! It's worth it. And they move super fast. The pricing overall was really good. We also got the lobster bisque which had chunks of lobster in it (I dipped my roll in it and it was magic). Only $10! And a good portion. But they have all sorts of things--Mac and cheese, shrimp cocktail, steamers... and next door you can get fresh seafood as well. This is seafood heaven. And again, I was content with the price for quality food. Now let me quickly talk about the view because that was awesome. We sat outside and watched the ocean because it's at Rye Harbor (as the name suggests). It's so relaxing. Especially on a beautiful day. Here's the one thing you may be iffy on. $10 to pay for parking for the day. 30 minutes free. If you think you can do it all in 30 minutes, go for it. But we didn't want to rush so we paid $10 for parking which is kind of eh. But I get it because the whale watch leaves from the harbor. A minor thing to know, but not something to deter you from coming. Though if you don't come... that's more lobster rolls for me!

Unfortunately, the food really missed the mark. The regular chowder was not hot and was lacking flavor. The fluffy chowder was also not hot. The lobster in the fluffy chowder was actually cooked well, but again, there just wasn't enough flavor. The clam chowder was cold, which is honestly a sin when it comes to chowder. It did have some nice, big clams, so I'll give it a 4/10 for that. Unfortunately, the foundation lacked flavor and the clams were overcooked. The lobster rolls were the biggest disappointment. The lobster claw meat was about five minutes overcooked, and overcooked lobster is whack. The bun also completely disintegrated, which made the roll very difficult to eat. 3/10. For what we paid, I expected much better execution. The seafood was consistently overcooked, the chowder wasn't served hot, and the flavors just weren't there. The good: Amazing views and genuinely friendly staff. The bad: Cold chowder, overcooked clams and lobster, bland flavor, and a bun that fell apart. I really wanted to love this place, but the food needs some serious improvement. The customer service was amazing, though. Food: 3/10 Service: 9/10 Views: 10/10
