We knew this was a popular spot, but for the price we couldn't believe how poor quality the food was. I ordered the crab cakes.....what came was burned patties the texture of wet bread...there was no discernible crab anywhere. My husband's clam chowder was very watery. I couldn't eat the fish and chips and had to leave feeling sick after trying the supposed crab cakes. My husband ordered the scallops and they had chopped them up and mixed white fish in with them hiding it with the breading. One of the worst restaurant meals we have ever had! First things first: Jackie, our server, was attentive, knowledgeable, and nice - trifecta! I asked for a specific beer type and she knew the answer not only by name, but also by number (of which there are 32)!!! Second: the place is sizable and clean, with a woodsy-lake kind of vibe, but not dark, high ceilings, lots of windows, cool art, and a nice river view. Stopped by location on way home. Very clean location, friendly staff, food was well made and service was quick. Menu has a good selection of dishes including apps, burgers, wraps, seafood and dinners. Also a great selection of craft beers and a full bar. Saturday night dinner out. We love sitting at the bar and got lucky to get a seat. We sat right in front of where Alexa makes her drinks. We were so impressed by this young ladies job experience it blew us away. The restaurant was so busy and she covered the entire bar area and the entire restaurant orders for drinks plus kept the area clean, filled the dw, put clean dishes away, made coffee, placed food orders, cashed out checks, cleaned up the bar after guests ate and NEVER missed a beat!!
