This review is for the salon on Davison Ave. my first time going to this salon was good, the lady who did my daughter and mine nails was very nice, we loved therefore I decided to go back, so I called and made the appointment, on the day we get there but the lady that did my nails was not There. This woman I didn't see before told me that my name was not on the book and she said she didn't have time .. she said "no no time, go!! Funny thing there was only one customer .. she could've took us but instead she basically kicked us out, she was rude. Therefore I'm Taking my business somewhere else. DO NOT COME TO THIS SALON. Went to the salon on the recommendation of a friend and I was pleasantly surprised. Parking was easy which is a plus in Oceanside. I was greeted as I came in and quickly seated for my appointment. I chose a lemon spa pedi and was very happy with the 15 massage I received. Had no idea my legs were in that much need of one. My dip powder mani came out great. Got that shoulder massage as well which felt wonderful. Overall, the salon is bright and clean, decorated cutely with pink accents and dried wildflowers or herbs (not sure which one), has a friendly staff, rather large selection of colors (regular, gel and dip) and the work done is worth the price charged. They are a bit more expensive than other salons on Long Island. A definite recommend from me. read more

Wow! Extremely happy with this new addition to Oceanside! Conveniently located near Pastosa Italian gourmet deli and near Petco and Beach Bum Tanning! First impressions are everything! The place is gorgeous! Dried flowers are everywhere! Inspirational phrases in frames all done in shades of caramel, cream and wood tones. The music was perfectly "spa" and set the mood for a relaxing pedicure. I had the spa vitamin E pedicure. 40 minutes of bliss. Lots of creams, exfoliating and massaging! My toes look like a perfect 10! I will definitely be back! Perfect service, ambiance and reasonable prices! Btw..today we had $5 off spa pedis for the grand opening! Love this place so much!!!! Such a beautiful and clean Space! They're prices are reasonable and they're spa packages are amazing!

Unfortunately I just had my first not-great experience here. I called this morning and asked for the price of a gel manicure ($30) and a pedicure ($24) and I was told the total would be $54. During my pedicure, the tech handed me one book of colors to choose from. I asked if it would be possible to do French with one of the colors, and she said yes. During my manicure, something was happening with the color she was using for the French tip, but she didn't explain what. She kept doing half of the tip, asking me to cure, and switching back and forth between hands. When she was done, she called over another worker and was explaining to him that something was wrong with the polish and it wasn't coming out right, but she never said anything to me. When I got to the register, my total was $78. The cashier also was a bit rude when I asked if I could tip with my card, and said "what, you don't have cash?". My nails are extremely bumpy, and the French tip is very uneven, so it wasn't even worth the price. I called for an explanation of the price, and they told me I picked from the "special color book" and that all of the options were $10 extra, even though they only handed me one book. I really feel like I was tricked because of my age here. The math is still not adding up. They offered me a $10 gift card, which sucks because I won't be going back there to use it. read more

I have been coming for over 2 years. I loved Mia but she's been on this long "vacation" so I started using th other ppl. First of all, I'm Chinese. They should know better then to talk in Chinese ABOUT ME. Lol I've started to notice that they bad mouth their customers while doing their nails. They smile but talk bad. So today isn't the first time but I gave them benefit of the doubt and went back. I asked for Jeslyn but she was booked so I used Angela. They sit right next to each other. They start talking about how I have ugly nails. This is exactly what ur here for, to make my nails pretty. Which I don't mind, ur entitled to your opinion but then they start discussing about how weird I am. Jeslyn would complain how I used her twice and today, I used Angela and how unfaithful I was. Then she proceeds to say what an ugly nail color I chose last time. I'm sorry, u don't have to like it as long as I like the color. I'm not wearing the color for you. No offense, she has ugly small eyes but I don't tell her that. Lol Then as I proceed to leave, they discuss about my tips. Tbh - I don't remember what I give every time. It's about how many dollar bills and change I have in my wallet that day. I feel they are very petty. At least wait until I walk out to talk about me. Lol very rude, disrespectful. I am paying for ur salary, sort of speak. They also mentioned Mia several times because I love Mia and she's so professional and doesn't check phones or talk so much while doing my nails. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Not only are they rude and always rushing you, but they are unsanitary. I came into today 6/24/21 with my mom for a gel manicure and pedicure. I made the appointments in advance, and when we got in, we had to wait anyway even though the owner was calling me and texting me to "remind me of my appointment." We were on time and still had to wait. I was taken first and my mom waited for ten minutes for anyone to even be available. What was the point of making appointments together? When my mom sat down to finally get a manicure, the nail tech began using any random utensils that she could find. My mom informed her that they are supposed to be sterile before working on the nails. After being told to do so by my mother, she finally got up to replace the used, disgusting utensils with sanitized ones. This was absolutely appalling and grossed us out. We will never be back here and I advise anyone thinking of coming here to go spend their money elsewhere. read more

I had a simple pedicure and was extremely unimpressed. Recently I've noticed a decline effort/ hospitality/quality with services during another previous visit, but I was a loyal customer. My feet were submerged in freezing cold water even after asking for a warmer bath. The effort given towards my pedicure was half asses and I walked out of there feeling like I payed 60 dollars for a new shade of polish. My toes were cut in the process, bleeding and stinging pain engulfed my foot, and nothing was done to clean or treat the cut. Overall the prices isn't worth the quality. read more

This was my first time at this nail spa. The place is very clean which is number 1 for me. They have so many color options. My nails weren't rushed which I really appreciated. I've gone to other places where they rush and you don't feel important. They took their time. I was well taken care of. The pedicure was great and the powder gel was down very well. read more

The biggest downside here is the inconsistency. I have amazing manis/pedis and then just recently had a gel that peeled off my nails within a day. Also, they absolutely need more staff. It doesn't matter whether you make an appointment or not either, because you'll still wait. Two times now they had to call for back up from the LB location. read more

I usually would never write a review but if I could zero stars for this business I would. I came to this business many times but never again. I called to make an appointment with my usual nail tech, but someone else sat down across from me to work on my nails. When I questioned where my regular technician was the owner nodded and made some comment along the lines that she was no longer there. I figured that the owner would make sure all of his techs were qualified so I agreed to try this tech with a name tag that read "Eva". Eva started working on my nails and used the file machine that I had told the owner I did not want since it burned and made my nails thin. Eva kept using the file machine and I kept telling her to stop. I should have just stood up walked out at this point but it was late and I didn't want to leave with my nails in the condition they were in. The owner said something to Eva in their language which I could not understand. I told him that she was using the machine too much and he ignored me. I was shocked that he just turned back to working on another customer. I asked him was that all he was going to say or do? He continued to ignore me. At this point Eva got angry and stopped the machine and roughly grabbed my hand and used the emery board to finish VERY quickly and roughly. At this point the owner finished what he was doing and came over to try and fix her disaster. I told him just stop. He asked if i could come back. I told him I will never be back and that I would get my nails fixed elsewhere. I don't even care that my nails are a disaster and the worst powder gel manicure I have ever had. I do care about the fact that the owner could hire such an angry technician who feels she can literally rough house a customer because she is angry. If Eva is certified as a nail tech in New York her certification should be suspended. read more
