Recently purchased by new owners, I'm hoping they don't change much. A lot of the staff is still the same, which is nice. I like the level of choice this salon offers, they keep up with the industry. Three months later - I tried to keep going. The gel powder has recently started to give a cracked look. It's happened more than once. This didn't happen before. I went back for them to fix it and they kind of side eyed me, but then tried to fix it, but it didn't entirely work. I wasn't thrilled about the way they handled my issue, but tried to be understanding and remained polite. I expect really good customer service in a place that I frequent and spend significantly in. I dont think they responded with that energy. This salon is close to home and one of the better salons in the area, so I will try sgs The place is always clean and they are very prompt with timing. Came here for a walk in for a lemon spa gel pedicure. The place was clean and my nail lady did a good job cleaning up my feet. I enjoyed the massage and the hot stones. I'm a little disappointed that my gel pedicure chipped on the first day (hence the minus one star) but I can see myself definitely coming back. read more

This was the second time I went there and the absolute last!!!!! First time I went there they gave a me a botched manicure and the second time which was a few minutes ago... she over charged me for a gel polish only on my toes after saying it costs $15... she then charged me $50 with no pedicure. A gel pedi costs $55 why would I pay $50 just to get gel polish on my toes with out a pedicure!!!!!! I'm livid. They are crooks!! This is my second time giving this salon a chance. I find that they do things very lazy and abnormally (for me atleast). They didn't clean my cuticles or scrub my feet whilst I had a pedicure- which I am paying for the services. It was very interesting because I saw all the other clientele get great treatment and a normal soak prior to cleaning and prepping the nails for polish application. If you don't clean the cuticles your nails look crazy. Also, back in December I had a gel manicure and it was horrendous. I showed the employee a picture of the design and she confirmed that she would be able to do it. However, she didn't do it at all. It was horrible. Never coming back. Not bad. There are lots of staff here with many nail stations. There usually isn't a wait but always try to make an appointment if possible. The prices are vey fair. They even include a 5 minute massage and hot stones with your pedicure. Linda, bless your heart. You are so, so sweet... but I have to minus a star off for the recent visit. The paint job is pretty terrible! My 5 year old baby cousin probably could've done a better paint job. Tony or Ann....those are the only techs I will let touch my nails here for SNS. For some reason when they do it, it lasts far longer than two weeks and I'm genuinely always satisfied. It gets super crowded here and when that happens, most pleasantries from the staff are nonexistent because they're more focused on getting the work done - I'm ok with that....not looking for new friends. Had a manicure and pedicure..actually one of their signature pedicures that included a 10 minute foot massage. Staff is very friendly, location is clean and the equipment used are modern. Not only does the pedicure chairs give a great massage, they recline to suit your comfort. Absent from the air is the overwhelming chemical smell that is present in some nail salon so l equate that to one of two thing or both...they use better grade products and their ventilation system is excellent. Large selection of different varieties of nail polishes to choose from. Very pleased with my mani and pedi...my nail tech even broke out an actually timer, set the minutes and showed me before starting my massage, l liked that. This nail salon is one of the few nail salons I've been too that are very clean and have a huge variety of colors. Anytime I've been there they've always taken me without an appointment right away. I realized they have another yelp page-same salon called "Sarah's nails and tanning" where all the reviews are the same as mine. Left this review there too, it needs to be seen. Bottom line-the work is terrible, overpriced and doesn't last. $60 for powder manicure that's cracking within days. And insult to injury, owner is simply unkind. I hate leaving bad reviews, but If you're not an older white woman, do not bother coming to this nail salon. Every time I come here( for over a year now), the owner Ann is just disgusting to me. Dismissive, to the point where you'd think I'm not a paying customer. Just an example- I scheduled a mani pedi today. My mom and I had a wonderful experience. We both had to wait at least 15 minutes but I'm not concerned with that- we didn't have appointments and it was very busy. Its been a long time since we both left a salon happy with our hands AND feet. We are usually both unsatisfied with one or the other, unfortunately. We both received lemon spa pedicures and SNS nails. I got gel polish for my pedicure, prompting the 4 star rating as opposed to 5. It seems I was charged $38 for the spa pedicure and an additional $15 because I got gel polish. I really did enjoy and do like my overpriced pedicure. I am absolutely going back. Unfriendly staff. Up charges for nail polish the "lasts longer". I was moved station 3 times. I also waited 20 minutes even though I had an appointment. It was very busy and people were walking in without appointments and still being seen quicker than those with appointments like myself. Had a really nice experience here today for a quick polish change. It was done very neatly and swiftly. They offer a lot of services including SNS powder, and multiple spa pedicures. They have disposable liners for the pedicure tub which is amazing! Most places just quickly wipe down between clients, not giving enough time for proper cleaning but with disposable liners you don't need to worry about catching something from the tub. She had no one else after me but did not want to bother. Do not tip before all services are done. My sister came here first and I loved how her nails came out so I decided to give this place a try. It was worth it and I keep coming back due to the service. There is a system and order here. Nail techs even have a standard uniform. They do regular manis and pedis but you can also step it up with SMS gel powder manis and specialized pedicures. I loved this place up until my last visit. I had called requesting my favorite nail tech, then found out he wasn't working there anymore. I requested the other male nail tech and was put down for an appointment. After arriving to my appointment and the tech starting my nails, he soaks my nails off (I get SNS), cuts, files and shapes them, then passes me off to a different nail tech and starts in another customer that had just come in. This tech that I was passed off to (after specifically requesting the male tech who started my nails) wasn't nearly as skilled and did not do my nails well (it was lumpy and not buffed smooth and flat) and didn't even want to change the color when I realized she gave me the wrong one. I was very disappointed. Won't be going back, especially not after my favorite tech has left. read more

I asked for a coffin shape and this was the first place to get the shape perfect. I got SNS, glitter with one finger black. They looked perfect besides the fact that the black wasn't as shiny as the others. However I still loved them. 3 days later one snapped off and broke skin and was gushing blood. I have had acrylic and gel before and this has never happened. Flash forward to today and I was opening a bottle of wine and again, snapped off and was gushing blood. They have great hours and great service. My favorite nail salon in all of the Five Towns. In my opinion this place has the most "worth it" pedicure. For $20 for a regular pedicure, they never rush & you always get your moneys worth. Even a regular pedicure includes a 10 minute leg massage. I get powder gel manicures here and they last so long I only need to get them once a month. I've been coming here for years and even when I moved still drove here because I just haven't had a better experience anywhere else.
