this place is awesome. i was on vacation 2 weeks ago down in the fort meyers area. i really wanted…read moreto get my nails done but not being from the area i didn't want to gamble by just choosing a nail spa at random. i was wise enough to ask the hotel concierge linda, where she got her nails done. i had noticed since the day that i checked in that she had the most beautiful nails. i figured that she would be the best one to ask. linda recommended adore nails to me and promised that i would be delighted with their work. the harbor plaza, where they are located, was only a couple of miles from the hotel. i was beyond thrilled when i called and learned that i could get a sunday appointment. we all know how difficult it can be to find a nail shop that is even open on sundays. when i arrived there sunday afternoon, i was greeted by very kind, warm and respectful staff. i noticed straight away that the entire spa was as clean as an operating room in a hospital. you can definitly tell that having a sanitary and sterile environment is very inportant to the management here. upon looking at the extensive menu, i opted for the dip powder manicure. it started with a nice soak. then the gentlest cuticle work i have ever had. they do not rush here like i have seen elsewhere sometimes. the nail shaping was very, very precise. once again, perfection is very important to the techs here. the dip powder treatment itself was very interesting. they use a 3 - step system to accomplish this. the result here is extremley durable and also looks great. this is way better than dealing with acrylic nails and the related health dangers. in fact, they specifically will not offer acrylics due to the health concerns. the last step was a clear gel being applied over the nails. the final results were basically astonishing as i had never had any shop back in massachusetts give me a manicure with this high level of quality. in total i paid only $60 for this top- notch experience. of course i felt obliged to also tip another $40 since this was the best manicure in my lifetime. i will say, i certainly felt like some kind of a movie star walking out their door with my gorgeous new nails. i just wish that i wouldn't have to fly over 1,000 miles to keep my nails looking this wonderful in the future. next time i am down in fort meyers, a visit to adore nails will be my first stop.

Pedicure was fine, but the tech had difficulty with polish, having to use alot of remover on my skin after completed. But it turned out fine. During the end of pedicure, the fumes got to me a little and I started coughing. Not one person offered water or another beverage, although everyone around me had one. They play classic shows like Golden Girls at a comfortable volume - loud enough to engross yourself in the show but not too loud where you cannot hold a conversation. My nail tech, My, handled the gel manicure portion, while another male tech handled the pedicure. The pedicure was comfortable - he got the ingrown our efficiently while also throwing in massages throughout the procedure. The manicure was a great experience - it did not feel rushed and I could see her efficiency caring for the nail bed and skin surrounding it. I had a great time at this salon - lovely nail colors but even lovelier techs. They're also very responsive to their Facebook page! The only improvement I would say is to make sure the pedicure nail polish is completely covering the nail. Some for the toe edges didn't have nail polish or there were some see through spots on the larger nails (not enough polish when coating) - I know most people don't see the imperfections but ‍.

They were incredibly accommodating and were able to help me facilitate a large group event for Kappa Delta sorority recruitment in back in 2022. Tim was incredibly helpful and we truly enjoyed working with them. We were able to service many members with pedicures or eyebrow service. They also offered complimentary drinks and ensured they would have proper staff to cover us all. I consider this one of the highlights of my sorority memories :). Current FGCU students I encourage you to please continue to make connections with your local businesses! It will greatly benefit you both.
