A friend referred this company to me, I was hesitant because they were not a "well known" company. Well... well... well let's just say the photos speak for themselves. Julio and his team, went above and beyond. When they finished the work, I literally wanted to cry, it took them three weeks, from start to finish. He was friendly, affordable and thorough. He completed the job how is requested him to do it!

His approach is thorough, professional and efficient. We had him build and install a wall-to-wall storage unit built from natural hickory that he found and milled specifically for our project. He provided a quote for the project in a timely manner and his timeline for building and installation was sooner than we expected, which was a wonderful surprise. We are thrilled with the final product and know that we have added value and comfort to our home. If we have any future projects, we will certainly reach out to Rob for assistance.

Hiring Frazier Custom Cabinetry was a great decision. We worked directly with the company owner,…read moreRob. Rob built and installed a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling entertainment system for our family room. He also put up crown molding in two of our rooms. The final product came out great and Rob was great to work with. (I've put pictures of the entertainment center shortly after installation and painting.) Initially we spoke to Rob over the phone and sent him some photos of ideas we liked. We followed that up with a meeting at his shop, during which he showed us around and took us through everything he could do, which was quite a bit! We finalized the design and he sent us a scaled drawing within a quick turn around. The drawing looked exactly like we envisioned. Rob came to the house to measure and a few short weeks later, Rob and his crew were at our home doing the installation. During the installation, the one thing that stuck out to me was that Rob was very involved. I've seen company owners disappear while the crew is doing that actual job. Not with this job! Rob strikes me as a bit of a perfectionist and he really pushed his crew to do a great job. It showed in the final product. The other thing that showed in the final product is that Rob used quality materials and craftsmanship. We spoke to other companies before hiring Frazier Custom Cabinetry and they all planned to use inferior MDF products. Rob uses old-school joining techniques instead of relying on more expedient, but flimsier, methods. We could see this in how the crown molding was attached and how he built things in his shop. We got higher quality materials put together with finer craftsmanship and didn't have to pay more than what the competitors were asking. In short, if you're looking to have custom cabinetry done, hire Rob. He's easy to work with. He does what he says he's going to do. And his product turns out great. I'm already looking around for the next thing I want Rob to do for us!

They came promptly and had excellent communication prior to arriving to confirm the appointment. Then two days later I checked my email and I've got this bill for $100. Again, I was never told nor agreed to any appraisal fee whatsoever, nor would I because any contractor worth their weight in salt is competitive to earn my business just as the three contractors that gave bids to repave my asphalt driveway. Only one of them earned the contract. And only one of them was paid, not the other two who did not win the contract. That's how reputable contractors operate in every state in the United States. They do an appraisal, give a reasonable bid and then wait to see if their bid won the contract. At no point did she ever mention $100 appraisal fee. I called them to rectify this situation, hoping it was a simple mistake, but instead I got the verbal runaround with the person who answered the phone who then got back on the phone after putting me on hold briefly and told me she was sending me an email which had a link to our conversation where I agreed to this falsified hundred dollars. I checked my link and there was no link to any conversation whatsoever because there was no agreement to do a bid for $100 appraisal fee. Nobody in their right mind would agree to pay a contractor $100 just to give them an appraisal to bid for a contract. If your bid is good and you win the contract you get paid. That's how it works. You don't get paid to come out to somebody's house for five minutes to look and write down a number on a piece of paper. That's not how it works. Very disappointing. Very shotty business practices. These are the kind of shenanigans you expect from a dis reputable company.

He was able to show me examples of his work and give me a quote on the spot. After he knew I was going with his firm, things turned a bit sour. I wanted to chat about a few things so he told me to call at 5 o'clock the next day. I called at 5 o'clock the next day and he seemed a bit irritated. So I asked him if it was a good time to talk. He said well if you want to talk with a toddler around. He was quite curt. He told ME to call him AT 5! The next day I reminded him he told me that I should call at that time and he was still complaining about talking with his child around. If you do not have a baby sitter do not ask clients to call you. I thought he would apologize for his rudeness, he didn't. Instead, I believed I was apologizing. Nuts. Then, I realized I had to remove two medicine cabinets that would leave holes in the walls that would need drywall patches. I told him about that and he said it would be $50 each extra just to do the drywall patches. Fine. Then a couple weeks later he said well are those the kind of cabinets that are hung on the wall or leave a hole when removed. I said there are holes. He proceeded to tell me then that that would probably be more than $50. So, if there are nail holes in the wall it's $50, but if there is a drywall hole it's more? I do not understand that. Mind you, I have emails where he actually wrote "confirmed" on items/clarifications to make sure they were included in the contract. I knew to do that because of the way his contract was written. Apparently, his contract only goes one way, his way. He states specifically that his contract is the entire contract: "Exclusions--Anything not mentioned in scope." I had in the contract to paint the outdoor shutters and white dry lock on the exposed cinderblock walls in the "downstairs laundry room." He's talking to me on the phone the day before, obviously not reading his own contract, and he says the shutters were not included, but he says that's okay. I reminded him they were in the contract. The next day when he goes to start work, he tells me the entire basement is not included. Mind you, he agreed to use dry lock in the "downstairs laundry room." There is no exposed cinderblock in the home except in the laundry room in the basement. He told me he didn't have the basement in any of his notes or video and he asked me if I remember going down there with him. I said I didn't remember. I reminded him of the cinderblock dry lock paint and he said well I assumed that was in the ground level - - so he didn't refer to his video that would clearly not show any exposed cinderblock above ground level ? Mind you, the contract states "Prep and paint all walls, ceilings, trim, and doors throughout the home." Well, he asked for an additional $2800 more. When I said no, it's just getting too expensive for me he dropped it to $2500 more (the contract was already ~$11,000). Mind you, he contracted with me to do the entire home. He reneged on his contract. What was I going to do? Take him to court? I need my home painted and I don't want someone to be forced to paint and do a bad job. Not saying that he would do a bad job, but I also needed it done as soon as possible. At a minimum, he should've owned up to the error. Instead, he tried to put the blame on me because I did not go in the basement with him. Seriously? If he had owned up to the mistake and given me a much better price, I probably would've gone with him. Mind you, his crew was already there and he had started putting paper down in a few rooms. He probably lost more money taking his crew away and losing a day of scheduled painting. I am just very disappointed. I think he probably would do a beautiful job, but I can't go with someone who changes the price while at the job. Is it my responsibility to walk into every room with him to make sure he has every room in his notes and video?
