So, me and my wife had a big trip coming up and had to get some of my formal wear and one of her dresses dry cleaned. I dropped the clothes off and was told that everything would be done and ready for pick up that Thursday which was great because we left Saturday night. Friday comes around and I go to pick up our clothes and my stuff is all done but I'm told the dress will be done late, hopefully by Friday evening so it will be ready for pick up Saturday, no big deal. So Saturday my wife goes to get her dress and it still isn't ready. Now this is an issue because we leave that night and that's the only dress my wife really had for this occasion. The employee working at the time makes a call to the place where they actually clean the clothes and they can't find it. So my wife is told that they will keep looking and do their best and call her when they find it. My wife comes home and tells me about the issue and we're both reasonably upset because now her very expensive dress is possibly missing and she's going to have to go try and buy a new one that day. But then we get a call from the employee my wife had talked to earlier and apparently the owner of the company is now involved and he was calling a bunch of employees in to help find the dress and would clean it himself and hand deliver it to us at the airport if that's what it would take to get the dress to us in time. In the end that wasn't necessary, they ended up finding it, getting it ready, and delivering it to our house a few hours before we had to leave. Now this wasn't the greatest experience but the reason for the 5 star review is Bobby Pages and it's employees actions to correct the issue. We were truly blown away by their efforts to make things right and will only use them for our dry cleaning from now on. read more

Highly overpriced alterations!! $48 for a simple dress hem, no lining not a circular dress. Plus they didn't even do a blind stitch. There are much more reasonable places to get clothes hemmed. read more

First time at any dry cleaners here. I needed to get my husband's 3 designer shirts dry cleaned and I decided to go to Bobby pages since it's close to my house. The lady at the counter was really nice and explained how it works since I've never had dry cleaning done before. I brought it in Monday and she said they send it to Reno and the trucks should have it back by Thursday. Wednesday rolls around and I received a text saying it's ready. In total I spent $30.00 for 3 Gucci designer men's long sleeves. She let me know ahead of time that since they are designer, they will be more money but I think $10 a shirt is pretty high. But overall they looked nice. Plus I liked how they set me up with an account and I could see when it was ready and stuff and you can easily pay on there. read more

Just paid $45 to have a new duvet cover and two shams pressed only! They had already been laundered.

Took in two basic dresses (unlined) to get them shortened 2 inches each. The woman at drop off did not give me a price as she said she would not know until the seamstress saw them. I was not worried as most of these types of alterations run about $25. When I picked up the dresses they charged me $97.90! They also listed the items as a dress and jumpsuit both lined. Since it was the weekend I called their main branch and they said to bring them in on Monday to a manager. I did. That manager said they had overcharged me by $4 each ( I never would have had them altered for that cut-throat price). She said she would round up to $10 back to my account. But guess what! Not my credit card account, my Bobby Pages account. I'm wavering between three and four stars for this Bobby Page's. On the one hand, they did an amazing job cleaning grease stains off a beloved dress. (It was a pizza Friday casualty.) On the other hand, pretty much everything about the transaction could have been improved. Dry cleaners: you're going to have to work harder to attract and retain the business of millennials! The location of this Bobby Page's is okay: it's in the plaza with the Safeway off Vista, but it's hard to find the storefront. It's in the northwest corner by the Chase realtor office, next to a Keva Juice. The parking lot for that section is very small. The storefront doesn't look particularly well lit, so I had a brief moment of concern that it wasn't open on the Sunday morning that I stopped by. Please note that the hours currently listed on the Yelp page are not correct: it's 9 am to 5 pm, and it was an unexpected pain when I drove there at 5:25 pm on Tuesday to pick up my items, only to realize that the location was closed. If an important market demographic for your services works in a 9 to 5 pm setting, it sure is a pain not to be open until at least 6 pm. I hate the lack of price transparency at dry cleaners. Nowhere on the website or in the store are the prices for items listed. I learned when I picked up my items that it cost $8.30 to dry clean a skirt, $9.65 to dry clean a women's blazer, and $22.90 to dry clean my very beloved dress, which they classified as "evening/cocktail." Let me end with some nice things: a Tuesday pick-up for a Sunday drop-off is a timely turn around. The woman who helped me was friendly. My "evening/cocktail" dress has mini pleats, and wow, were those pleats beautifully pressed! Next time I have dry cleaning needs, I'll probably take my items here again, but I wish I could be a loader and prouder champion of their business. read more

Giving them a 2, not based on service, but on charges. I took brand new dress shirts to them. One was a women's small the other, a man XL. when I picked them up they werpressed and cleaned beautifully. The issue I have is that I was charged $3 for the mans shirt and $6.15 for the women's, even though the men's shirt is twice the size. How is this a fair price? How is this justified? Is it just acceptable to charge women more for less? Needless to say I won't be back. read more

Place smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke, and service was unfriendly. I opted to walk out and not have my clothes smelling like smoke.

Im very disappointed in this place!  I would not recommend anyone going here!!  The service is terrible, the quality of work is sub standard and its over priced!!! Where do I begin? 1. the terrible service-   OK the lady said she was new.  I had 7 items, 3 shirts that where already washed and I wanted pressed only and then 3 pants and another shirt I that I told here I needed "dry cleaned".   she asked me a few times if i wanted starch?   starch if only if you get things "laundered" so I said I want them "dry cleaned" several times!  she seemed mentally occupied and "lost" because I was the only customer in there but she was acting as if it was crowded and the place was swamped with customers.  After I finally, thought, I got my order straight with her she got my info and she gave me a ticket.   But I realized I didn't get a receipt, so I asked her for a receipt (because I was curious about the cost)  at that time someone else came in and she was frazzled a bit and said something to the effect of ok but your gonna have to wait for it.  I did tell her its ok because I figured that its not that big of a deal and how much can 7n items cost in which 3 where just press only.  I did ask for next day service, to be honest.   before I walked out I noticed she didn't grab my clothes and put them in a bag or anything and left them on the counter where I laid them but she said don't worry about it and that she would take care of it, so I left.     after about 15 min i got  call from the same lady at the cleaners asking me all the same questions about what needed to be dry cleaned and what needed to be to be just pressed.   We went back and forth on the phone about it because I told her several more times on the phone and she seemed so confused although she said she had it right and "don't worry I have right and it will be correct".    she did get the order right in all fairness but I was irritated that she was so unorganized and so unprofessional. 2.    the quality of work is sub standard--  when I went back the next day( after I got a very nice text notification, which I thought was really cool for a cleaners to do) the same lady was working and I gave her my ticket which has all my info on it, first and last name, ticket number, and date/time, she asked me my last name, which I gave, then she tried to guess my first name, and she got wrong so she asked me my first name and I gave that so she found me in the computer.  she got my clothes and I was surprised my order was actually correct! However, later when I got home all my shirts had double creases on them!!  this part is not at all on the lady at the desk but goes to show they are falling short in all areas. 3.  Over priced--  the 7 items cost 37.00!!! I and from the Bay Area I was shocked and asked her about it and she said "its more expensive up here".  I told her I probably won't come back at these prices.  She asked if its cheaper in the Bay Area and I said "yeah" and she asked "even for next day" and I said "yes".  Then said "do you go to a Chinese cleaners? I said "Im not sure why that matters but I go where I can get a better deal and more reasonable price.   I never got a receipt so I could see an itemized list of the prices and she never gave one.   I also noticed there is not a price list posted.   I paid and all but this place gets a giant "F"!!! read more

I needed my uniform blazer cleaned and was only home for two days. I was told if I took it to main cleaners on South Virginia by 11:30am it would be delivered back to Spanish Springs by 5:30pm. I decided to take my chances with the next day. (Wasn't sure what time I would have to leave next day). They did a great job! My family is new to the area a little over a year an a half. We got our son into local kids things. We put his uniform in the cleaners to get s patch or two sown on and we told they'd be ready at the end of the week. A week later we got the shirt back. I will never use this cleaners again. First let me say the young blonde at the counter is beyond friendly and helpful. I took 3 new dresses in to be cleaned and upon picking them up, I noticed the fabric under the zipper of one had split. The young girl apologized and said it would be fixed at no charge. I had already paid for the cleaning which was almost $50 for all 3! When I picked them up today, and older lady was very rude. She denied causing the damage and said I should have been told to take it back where I bought it. This was a $120 dress and was NOT damaged at purchase. She had quite the attitude shaking her head at me and giving me looks. They use a thing called a susan they put the dress on to steam it. My guess is they were not careful and stretched it during the process. Regardless, the customer is always right and this customer will now be taking her business elsewhere. read more

Nice experience. I don't have a ton of dry cleaning anymore, but dropped off my son's wool peacoat for cleaning the other day. Was greeted by a nice employee and was given a one day turn around on the coat. The coat came back perfect. I've had some bad dry cleaning experiences at other dry cleaners in town where skirts have shrunk, or a snag in a sweater etc, but I was super pleased. Great business, I personally know the owners but haven't seen Kevin in years, I will definitely use Bobby Pages for all my future dry cleaning.
