Just noticed the problem friday, found Eric on nextdoor and yelp and he came out saturday to check. His truck was in the shop so he came on his motorcycle with his tools. Eric looked at the problem and within 10 minutes had the fix! While he was there I also showed him another patio door that would blow open on especially windy days. Eric fixed that too in no time at all. I have several other jobs identified for Eric and he will be coming back over the weekend to take care of them. Now I need to fix my wall thanks to Chris! Oh and the Wall was super clean and is not only damaged but also dirty and hard to clean. I had an electrical problem in my kitchen. I had diagnosed the issue completely and isolated the problem to a socket. I wrote a note that explains my findings (since I had to be at work). It included diagrams of the wires and the problem (see example photos). My wife pointed out the paper three times but Chris ignored it and went on a wild goose chase. Turns out the problem was the wires were not twisted inside the cap. Took him 1:30 hours to recap the wires. I had given him in writing the whole scenario, which sockets were on the line, etc. he still spent time looking at sockets on other lines which clearly could not be the issue. Which of course I had to pay for. Got here at 1:04 and left at 2:23. In his book that is one and a half hours. Oh and he took three phone calls that I had to pay for. To me that is a cheat. So $160 for the first hour. $100 for the next hour. Total is $210 for fixing wires not capped correctly and he damaged my wall. Would have been much faster if he's bothered reading the detailed explanation of the issue I took time to diagnose and write. I should have hired a cheap handyman in the area that offered to fix it for $60, but I wanted someone certified. Teach me for next time. Not only do I not recommend, I suggest you find someone else that isn't in it just for the money with no care about what he leaves behind. Chris is not honest. I found it strange that Chris had yelp reviews from people in Texas. All 5 star of course. I suspected he paid someone to write reviews. Based on my experience today, there is no way someone would give him a 5. Again, look somewhere else.
