Richard promised a lifetime warranty on the job done during the quoting process, apparently, this "warranty" is voided when you do not give a 5-star review on yelp The job was performed in June 2018, last week, there's a sudden main breaker jump so I called and left a message asking him to come out and check it out. When he returned my call, he said that 4-star review is an insult to him and I should ask someone else to come out and hung up. Never in my knowledge that 4/5 is that bad, let alone an insult. I left him a voicemail back to state that it was an honest review but never meant to be an insult. The 1-star being taken off due to the hassle of trying to get a hold of him and his lack of updates on arrival times Anyway, I did get someone else out to replace all the burned parts Again, another honest review that if you do not give a 5-star rating, the job done is not warranted

Unfortunately I had the most uncomfortable encounter when I wanted an outlet replaced. I contacted Richard via phone and he agreed to replace an outlet for me. When he arrived he proceeded to make comments on what he assumed my marital status was and on my appearance, repeating that I was "beautiful" (which, how could he know, I was wearing a mask??). The kicker was, he wrongly assumed I was running 2 appliances at once and said "now don't be offended, you're very pretty, very pretty" and proceeded to insult my intelligence while explaining that to me. He even told me to put his business card "under [my] pillow" (?!?) At the time I was super super uncomfortable so I just rolled with it because I wanted the job done. As for the job itself, the removal of the original outlet wasn't done delicately so a decent chunk of paint came off my wall. So after all that discomfort and harassment it wasn't even done cleanly and I had to spend extra money to fix it (and its still kind of obvious).

Their teamwork is impressive -- efficient, professional, and clearly built on years of trust. They completed the entire project in about 90 minutes, all while paying meticulous attention to detail. They adjusted the chandelier height several times until my wife felt it was perfect, and they made sure the support structure was fully reinforced for the added weight. That level of care is rare. We don't usually enjoy having people working in our home, but Duke and Eddie made the experience surprisingly fun. Friendly, respectful, and genuinely great at what they do. Highly recommend Duke Electric for any electrical work that demands precision and professionalism.

Once we chose him to perform a full home electrical rewire for knob and tube and replacing a lot of electrical fixtures. The quality with which Duke, Eddie and the team was able to execute on the work was excellent. The permit approval also went smoothly which made me appreciate just how well Duke performed the required work. Most of all, he is honest with any issues and how much time things take. He also went out of his way to help me with anything else I needed from him. Overall, I would highly highly recommend Duke to anybody looking to upgrade their electricals.

Bahram also provided a great recommendation for a contractor to perform the drywall repair from the removed fluorescent fixture. I would strongly recommend Altap to anyone in the SJ area. We will definitely work with them again for future electrical work.

The quality of the work looks great, and everything was handled smoothly. I'm very satisfied with the entire experience and would confidently recommend them to anyone in need of electrical work.

I didn't appreciate the urgency (she said I needed it done asap, when I had at least 4 to 5 months). Aside from that, the communication from the project manager was competent & efficient. When Trout took over communication went haywire. During the city permitting process they said in their letter to me that I just needed to be home for (think the window was 8:30 to 9:45am). They said nothing about having to keep opening and closing my garage door access. Well, I refuse to use my PTO from work because they're not sure how long they're going to be, or the start and end times. So around 3 PM at work I got a frantic text from another (different) project manager asking me to open my garage. Well, hello, there is no power, so how can I open the garage? Finally, they got that sorted out and around 5 PM one of their techs asked me to open my garage. I never got a response back from him when I asked to confirm if he was done and I could shut it again (by the way, I was doing this remotely from work since I have an app.) Communication needs to greatly improve in order for me to recommend this business.

At first, I had multiple positive experiences with CS Electric. They installed my Tesla charger,…read morereplaced my electrical panel, and later worked on my breakers. I appreciated their professionalism during the first few projects. Unfortunately, my most recent service--the most expensive one--left me disappointed. After the work was completed, I noticed that one breaker on my panel was missing a label. When I asked Caio, the owner, about it, I was told that they could not identify it during testing and that it might be connected to a hidden outlet. I was advised to turn the breaker off for several hours, or even a day, and see what stops working. When I asked what the old panel had listed for that breaker, I was told there was no label. As a customer who paid on time and in full, I expected better accountability. Since all of the wiring was stripped and reconnected during the panel replacement, I believe identifying and properly labeling the circuits should have been part of the job. The lack of ownership and follow-through was frustrating. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this service moving forward.
