I've only spoken to Jay and another individual that works at the front, but they're very nice and honest. Best honest auto shop in all of Houston. Jay is the owner and master technician, he is extremely skilled in auto body work. I paid $250 to get a front bumper that another body shop messed up fixed. To my surprise, Jay managed to get it 99% close to factory finish and now a year later the paint is still strong. Clear coat looks amazing on it still and you can't tell that it used to be damaged. I recommended my friend to go there after his accident. A week and a half turn around, he's driving a car that looks pristine. You can not tell the car was ever hit, most importantly the paint still holds up strong. Owner is very honest about the work that needs to be done, he does not jerk you around and use scare tactic to cluster your mind into thinking you need service. They offer a bunch of different service jobs for a decent price. I will always recommend this shop for any one who needs a job done, and I will definitely recommend their body work to everyone. I didn't have any concerns of being overcharged and the mechanic went over exactly what the bill consisted of. I was texting my friend at the same time asking him if the price was normal and he assured me I was getting a good deal with the price. EXCELLENT body shop! My rear bumper and quarter panel were badly damaged along with some minor damage to the driver's door, and they managed to make them look brand new again. Paint matching was done and it looks pristine. They even took out some other random dings and buffed out some scuffs from other wear and tear without me even asking. Luckily, our son was a professional insurance adjuster and recommended Jay at JK Auto Center. These guys are amazing. I came in with a windshield wiper fluid reservoir replacement, and they were able to see me the same day. I didn't have the necessary tools to replace the part, and even though a minimal task, they worked around their schedule to get it in for me. When it was finished, and I go to offer payment, they told me it was on the house. Not only did they replace it, they filled it up with wiper fluid. About two weeks ago I had my BMW X5 sent to a shop on Gessner due to a rattle in the front end. The next day they said it was fixed and charged me $120.00. After driving off I found that they didn't do anything and the noise was still there. I took it to JK Auto center and Nelson said he would call me in an hour. He called me back and sure enough it had a bad shock. They ordered the parts had my car ready the next day and everything is perfect they gave me a more than fair price. After my experience I asked if they could tow my Touareg from my house to their shop. It would not start and the key was stuck in the ignition. Jerry, called me within hours found out the battery had a warranty. He replaced the battery and fixed my ignition. When I called for the price he told there was NO CHARGE! I asked about the towing, he said he would take care of it. JK has a customer for life! The entire staff have always given me outstanding service and they are trust worthy. I am in shock, my wife and I are taking them a gift basket. This kind of service is unheard of in any city in the United States. From my experience, body work is half way finished and the paint job is just about the level you could get from a chief repair shop. They claim that they do good jobs but other shops proved me that they did a really poor job. However, the repair price is not matching their low work quality. It's pretty high! I live by JK and have used them in the past out of convenience but don't use them. They over charge and the last time I dropped my wife's car off to get a new battery. Went back a paid close to $200 and took the car home. Next morning the car would not start. They "forgot" to put in the new battery. So what they did was charge the battery and try to pass it on as new. read more
