Do not go here!! Owner is very rude and has personal anger management issues! I live in the area and was looking for a good mechanic to service my Toyota 4Runner. I came across this shop as I was driving in the area and decided to stop by to see if they were open so I parked on their driveway to look up their website and hours of operation. Seconds later I hear a truck honking behind me. I didn't think the honking was for me but apparently it was because the truck drove really fast into the shop nearly hitting the side of my car. When the person got out of the car he had this angry stare at me. I rolled down my window and asked him politely if he was the owner of the shop and he said yes. I said, "that was very rude and I guess won't be coming here". He then said I don't give a fuck. If you have any kind of business sense, you don't do that to a potential customer. So much for good business practice with this guy. It's a shame. I would give it 0 stars but yelp only allows at least 1 star. read more

Mid Love's Auto Repair is owned & operated by Mid & Cindy Love. The shop in in Spring Branch. I live in Spring so they must be good for me to make the drive for any auto repair needs. After paying over $300 to have something fixed that was never broke to begin with at Munday Chevrolet, I drove over to Mid Love's. I wasn't there 10 minutes when Mid came in & told me what the problem was. He said he reset the computer & when I asked him & his wife what I owed, they both looked at me & said, "Nothing! Don't worry about it!" man! Was that a great feeling!! I was truly blessed to have found this great mom & pops shop!!! They are always so friendly, helpful, & honest!! They also service all of the trucks from the company my husband works for. If you need any work done on your vehicle, I definitely recommend Mid Love's Auto Repair!!! This place lived up to all the previous reviews! I brought my car in because it was overheating, and it turns out I had air in the radiator. They didn't charge me a thing because they said that all they did was run it. They could have charged me for their time, but they said not to worry about it! I am going to being my car back to fix the power steering after February, and I would recommend this place without hesitation! After a few more visits because of problems with my car, I would still highly recommend bringing your vehicle here. I had to get the front end of my car completely rebuilt, and a new power steering pump and lines put in. I brought it in to access the damage and get a quote of how much it would cost, and after looking it over they gave the the exact total. I had to separate the problems into separate visits, and they told me their opinion of what to get fixed first, and explained it in a way that someone with minimal car experience would understand. Mrs. Cindy and Mr. Mid are incredibly nice people, and I feel that they honestly care about their customers. The proof is in the service, and again, I highly recommend this place. They don't offer vehicle inspection here, however I have called them and asked advice on how to bring my car up to Texas inspection standards. Mrs. Cindy told me that she knew a person that does inspections, and she would recommend me to them. She ended the conversation with 'Don't worry, we'll have you taken care of.' and I believe her when she says that. read more

All I can say is Wow!! I talked to the receptionist on 11/17/14 and she was really super nice. Made an appointment to have the struts replaced on my Trailblazer. She gave me a quote right over the phone, which is nearly unheard of these days. Dropped my SUV off mid-morning and about an hour and a half later, they called and said the vehicle was ready. This is my 3rd Chevrolet in 7 yrs, and I have been to just about every dealer in town for service - none of which can hold a candle to Mid Love's (except maybe to see how to treat a customer and do service right). To clear up the confusion I had, Mid Love is actually his name. First name Mid. Last name Love. And to add to the confusion, he and his son have the same name. And they both work in the business. That said, I've been to a number of other places around the area which have been fine. These guys are my guys now though. Free diagnostics and they have been super fast and inexpensive when a repair has been needed. If I could change one thing it would be for them to be open on the weekend. I'll deal with it though. WOW. This guy is as honest as they come. Dealership (and I love this particular dealership) wanted $1300 for the main issue, didn't even quote us a price on a side issue. Called Mid Love, and he quoted $400 and a free "look" at the other problem. Car was fixed within a few hours for $300 (!!) and told me the side problem was so trivial it didn't need to be bothered with. He has customers for life!! read more

i can only echo what the last reviewer said with exclamation marks. i have a similar story - a well-known chevron station gave me a list of 5 major problems with my car after their changing my oil. i drove over to mid love, and he vetoed every single one of them. now don't you think he would have liked to have made a little money that day for himself - but no, his honesty and integrity prevailed. how rare is that today in this world!!! he and his wife (and son too) are great people. thank you mid love!!!!! shannon suderman read more
