But since it was only 15 minutes and it was free, I decided to give it a try. Cobi was amazing, and it was without a doubt the best massage I have ever received. He did a great job of massaging without making me feel ticklish. He knew EXACTLY where the trigger points in my back and neck were, and there was a wonderful tingly sensation whenever he moved to a different pressure spot. The studio is located in a strip mall that houses only commercial business (that is, no shops). Although the outside is neat and unremarkable, the atmosphere changes as soon as you enter. Soft lighting, gentle music, nice scents gave me a hint of what was to come. After Francisca and I discussed my recent back issues, I decided on the two-hour massage, and I'm so glad I did! She is an experienced massage therapist and worked tirelessly to eliminate the kinks and knots that I seem to have settled in all the muscles of my body. It is so much better, but I can definitely see the benefits of regular massage therapy. I'll be back (no pun intended).

She took the time to explain all of the procedures and the rationale behind them and answered all of my questions. Amanda is clearly an expert in this space and was very knowledgeable and efficient. I also learned that Amanda only uses single use needles which she opens from the sterile packing in front of you. That made me feel a lot more comfortable about the hygiene of something that goes into my skin! The Goodbody Wellness space was very clean and calming. The space felt like a spa and even managed to make me forget that there were needles sticking out of me. I did acupuncture and some light cupping as well as a UV light treatment.
