We had two small issues one of which needed to be addressed quickly. I called another company who said they could not send someone out for 2 days. So I tried Largo Plumbing and was assured they could get someone out same day. The plumber came a couple of hours later. We use Largo Plumbing a big rip-off! Rick is the one who came to our home, the toilet was already removed, upon arriving he told me that he is part French and Scottish...trying to be friend He worked about 40 minutes to get his equipment making a big show, in no time he reinstalled the toilet pick-up his junks out the door $229.00 cash. Then a recommended to my neighbor using largo Plumbing, he came and done lost of work with big pay-day. Then he told my neighbor, you will have to call another plumbing company because I don't have the equipment to finish the job. Last Monday, one more time we had problem with our toilet being plugged again, we called Largo Plumbing (Not knowing about our neighbor issues) Rick showed up at our home, with the same story that he was part French and Scottish. Within few seconds looking at the problem, he made a long phone call to his office, then he told us that it would cost us $2,200 to fix the problem because our MH had sunk. He had to redo all the plumbing. No tile broken no plasterboard cracked, no laminated tile separated, no windows broken...just another way to try to ripped us two seniors 80 and 75 years old, BS us to get more money. As we tried to discuss the $2,200 dollar, in no time he told us "call Clearwater Plumbing" and walked away. A friend of us came and fixed the plugged toilet withing few hours. What a joke. The lack of accountability is astounding. Had my 3rd appt with Largo Plumbing scheduled today at 830; 1st appt the guy said he couldn't do anything until our new counters were installed; 2nd appt they sent a much larger plumber who couldn't fit in the crawl space & who had our appt postponed 24 hrs so we could get a new faucet (which I could have done in an hour) due to the way our counters were cut. The 2nd appt, plumber was 2 hrs late. 3rd appt, over an hour late. We called and Amy said "he was in a foul mood because he couldn't find his phone so she couldn't get a hold of him" - like that was somehow our problem? Shortly thereafter she said he was "on his way and would be there any second." No idea how she knew that considering she "couldn't get a hold of him." 30 mins later he STILL hadn't shown so I called to see if they were still coming and her answer was basically, "I don't know what to do." I pointed out that I had to have this plumbing done today and I needed to know if I should call someone else. She couldn't provide any kind of resolution to me; didn't even try. When I pointed out that it was bad business to stand up a client's appointment and have no control over your employees or whether they decided to do their job, she rudely talked over me and argued and when I tried telling her that as management, these issues were HER problem, she responded, "No it's your problem." At this point I was fed up and I told her I really didn't care what her excuses were, I just needed them to do their job. She told me they wouldn't be servicing us now at all and hung up on me. A few minutes later she had the nerve to call me back and calmly ask if I could tell HER employee to leave "if he shows up." I said nope, like I said, that's your problem, do your job, and hung up. Completely unprofessional and incompetent. Wish I could judge the service of the plumbing itself but no one there seemed interested in doing their job, especially not Amy. Fantastic service.... I called Largo plumbing after a friend told me to use them. I needed an inspection on a hot water heater done asap for a house that I was selling. I called 1st thing in the morning and Rick came out about 30 mins later. He went over the work that was performed by an unlicensed plumber with a fine tooth comb and everything checked out ok. Set up an appointment for a 1 hour window the next morning and the repairman (Walt) was prompt, on-time, professional, polite, and fixed issues with two toilets in under an hour. The whole experience was great,m. Rick, Amy, David and Fred were honest, fair, timely and reliable. My work consisted of removing my master tub and cut a hole in the concrete to relocate the drain and replace the water valve in order for me to convert to a walk in shower. They allowed me to order a new valve and shower kit (Amazon) on my own. During the project David pointed out a bent outdoor water spicket pipe in the same wall and they took care of it too. They leveled the floor to the new drain and installed the water barrier and now it's ready for my tile guy. Well done everyone! read more
