I keep getting charged and extra 10 damn dollars!!! Not much but when it's not something you signed up for YOURE GETTING ROBBED! Truly distasteful!

It was a huge mess. Our iPhone 17 Pro Max was stolen from its original Fed Ex box upon opening…read moreimmediately after it was dropped off. Essentially, we got the Fed Ex box but when it was opened, behold there was no physical iPhone box. Obviously this is outside of Xfinity's control (it's Fed Ex's fault) but I'll get there. Fast forward to the Xfinity store to receive some info about what we can do. The "manager" was there and states there's nothing they can do. He advised us that we should file a claim through Xfinity. After that, he kind of put his hands up in the air, again stating, there's nothing he can do. We sat in the store and proceeded with the claim process. Well, we run into another issue. We cannot make a claim, as he said, because the new phone needs to be activated. Wow! Wonderful. We ask again for help, then an employee advised us that her manager, the one who helped us earlier, had been on lunch for about 15-20 minutes at that time. She said she would go into the back and give him a call. She didn't come back until 5-7 minutes and told us that she tried calling and texting him and he was not answering. Seems odd that it took that long to do that but okay! We waited a little more than an hour. He walks out and says, "Any luck? No? Well, yeah, I came out because I was like yeah maybe they're still here. I was just in the back on my lunch" So did the employee lie? If so, it was okay just to say he was on break. Cool. I understand. I have lunch breaks too. Of course we'd wait without any issues. It's the principal. Come on. Anyways, we were there for 2 hours, in sum, just for him to answer us with "Yeah just call 1-800 Xfinity and report it as fraud". Oh, also, an employee there did allow someone to access the account, who is not the primary account holder and has no authorization, to order a $1,200 phone. We brought that to his attention and it didn't seem like he was going to take any action regarding why would their employee do that. Overall, Xfinity as a service is phenomenal. I've had zero issues. As for its physical stores, there's a lot to work with. Half of the staff are unsure how to help and are kind of misleading. Lots of training needs to come into play. This was the first bad experience I've had as a customer. I came from AT&T and trust me, there's tons of subject matter there. Xfinity let me down...well at least this store definitely did.

I have been a customer for over 5 years. Living in a rural area, reliable internet used to be hard…read moreto come by, so I was glad to find Unwired at first. I even have one of their relay towers within 500 feet of my home, and in the beginning the service was decent. Over time, however, the connection slowed significantly. When I called customer service, they upgraded me at no extra cost, but only after I asked. I found it frustrating that they don't automatically extend available upgrades to loyal customers. Their policy seemed to be that you have to complain or ask before they offer improvements--even if your service is struggling. That didn't make sense to me from a customer service standpoint. In the past year, the issues have gotten worse. Video meetings often cut out or force me to turn off my camera because of poor connection speed. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting and calling customer support, but nothing has resolved the problem. I finally tested a new internet option and was shocked at the difference: four times the speed at half the cost. When I called to cancel Unwired, they didn't even try to keep me as a customer--they simply admitted their product wasn't the best available and let me go. My advice: Before signing up with Unwired, research other options. It doesn't take long to find better internet service at a much better price.
