It was a huge mess. Our iPhone 17 Pro Max was stolen from its original Fed Ex box upon opening immediately after it was dropped off. Essentially, we got the Fed Ex box but when it was opened, behold there was no physical iPhone box. Obviously this is outside of Xfinity's control (it's Fed Ex's fault) but I'll get there. Fast forward to the Xfinity store to receive some info about what we can do. The "manager" was there and states there's nothing they can do. He advised us that we should file a claim through Xfinity. After that, he kind of put his hands up in the air, again stating, there's nothing he can do. We sat in the store and proceeded with the claim process. Well, we run into another issue. We cannot make a claim, as he said, because the new phone needs to be activated. Wow! Wonderful. We ask again for help, then an employee advised us that her manager, the one who helped us earlier, had been on lunch for about 15-20 minutes at that time. She said she would go into the back and give him a call. She didn't come back until 5-7 minutes and told us that she tried calling and texting him and he was not answering. Seems odd that it took that long to do that but okay! We waited a little more than an hour. He walks out and says, "Any luck? No? Well, yeah, I came out because I was like yeah maybe they're still here. I was just in the back on my lunch" So did the employee lie? If so, it was okay just to say he was on break. Cool. I understand. I have lunch breaks too. Of course we'd wait without any issues. It's the principal. Come on. Anyways, we were there for 2 hours, in sum, just for him to answer us with "Yeah just call 1-800 Xfinity and report it as fraud". Oh, also, an employee there did allow someone to access the account, who is not the primary account holder and has no authorization, to order a $1,200 phone. We brought that to his attention and it didn't seem like he was going to take any action regarding why would their employee do that. Overall, Xfinity as a service is phenomenal. I've had zero issues. As for its physical stores, there's a lot to work with. Half of the staff are unsure how to help and are kind of misleading. Lots of training needs to come into play. This was the first bad experience I've had as a customer. I came from AT&T and trust me, there's tons of subject matter there. I have to give credit, where credit is due. 1st off, I was with AT&T Wireless for almost 27 years. I love and trusted my AT&T service, however, their current rates drove me to search for another, more affordable, trustworthy provider. I have XFinity home WiFi and absolutely love it. Their promotions for mobile service and equipment have always been attractive to me, as well as XFinity Mobile is powered by the Verizon network. So, I finally did it & moved to XFinity mobile today (2 lines of service). Little bit of a misunderstand regarding the costs of service and equipment at the store today due to new promos rolling out today, however, we were able to sort it out. Excellent customer service today! Overall, my new cell service and iPhones are great and the price is fantastic! Recommendation: *Check, then recheck their 'current running promotions and offers' on their website before going to the store to be sure. *Sign into the XFinity website when you get home, and double check the sale and agreement; it's e-mailed to you right away. Downside: *Getting in touch with a live XFinity customer service agent at (888) 799-3747 can be challenging & a bit frustrating. *The online chat feature is functional, but driven by A.I., but will connect you to a live chat agent when requested. read more

I do not recommend this company. Every time I call to request a technician to install my cameras, I'm told I must pay $300 upfront. I've asked multiple times if this fee could be added to my bill instead, but the response I got was extremely unprofessional--"If you don't have money, why are you calling?" This kind of response is completely unacceptable and disrespectful. When I asked for the names of the representatives I spoke with, they repeatedly hung up on me. Their customer service is not just unhelpful--it's rude and dismissive. I expected much better communication and professionalism from a company that provides security services. Have had ongoing issues with our Internet for months. The last tech that came out recommended we replace our modem, but also suggested buying outright rather than "renting" it from Comcast. So we did. The issues continued. The tech also said calling or using the app is a waste of time and the best way to get a tech to come out is to go to an actual store and make an appointment there. So today I spent time and gas driving out to the store in hanford. Initially a kid named Jose tried to "help". He had an incredibly arrogant attitude, essentially told me my service problems were my fault because we bought equipment instead of renting...even though the modem we purchased is literally recommended by Xfinity on the Xfinity website. When I tried to explain the ongoing problems and what the tech said, he dismissively replied "I dunno about all that". Like...no kidding. Of course you don't. That's why I'm here - to tell you about it. When I asked to speak with a manager he acted like it was all a big joke. When the manager Brandon came out, he told me that they couldn't even schedule an appointment because the system was down, and that I would need to do it through the app. Meanwhile Jose just stood there smirking, like a bug-eyed freak. Seriously, how this kid even has teeth left in his mouth is a mystery to me. So as an Xfinity customer your choices are either call and speak to someone who barely understands English, or go to a physical store and deal with rude, inept employees. Good luck. EDIT: I asked for the number for the district manager. The in store manager "Brandon" gave me a number...that he apparently made up. Friendly staff but their knowledge was misleading and lacking. Unable to set up an Apple accessory and were wrong about a plan having international coverage, forcing me to pay $20 a day for service overseas despite visiting the store and being told it's included in my plan. Overall, the staff were nice and polite but unable to solve my issues whenever I go there for assistance. read more

I had problems with video pixelation on my 4k box. Xfinity sent a technician to troubleshoot, made a bunch of changes and ordered a new box shipped to me at no charge. The box arrived and was the wrong equipment. I took the wrong equipment to the Xfinity store and they ordered the correct equipment. I was charged for shipping and handling for Xfinitys mistake when the correct equipment arrived. I went to Xfinity and complained about this and was told I would have a bill credit on my next bill. I did not get the bill credit, my bill actually went up by $38! All this and still experiencing pixelation and frozen video! Very disappointed! read more

Me and my husband left this horrible company several months ago close the accounts every month we are getting bills after the account has been closed. Several visits to the store and managers fussing about giving us a refund attempting to return our money back has been a nightmare by the way, the monthly bills are still coming in and we have no business with this company so if you want headaches, this is your company. They're like a bad fly. They won't go away. Just keep hanging around even after you canceled my next stop is BBB report. I might just post it on here too for this being a big corporation. This is what happens when you basically have a monopoly. Your choices are either AT&T or Xfinity for internet service. AT&T is so horrid at doing business both from the cellular phone aspect and worse from the internet side. My internet has been down 3 times this month already. Today it was twice in one day. What is irritating to me is that Comcast/Xfinity knew that they had work scheduled on their lines but don't let their customers know that it is going on. I work from home and when it's down I have no options. You call and talking to an agent is not an option-in fact the recording states that "speaking to an agent does not help". So as a paying customer I just sit and wait. When did business' start caring so little about the customers that they serve. Comcast/Xfinity's day will come, it always does, I only hope I am there to witness it. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more

This is literally the worst service you can buy. $270.00 for early termination fee even though you moved out of the area and they do not provide service at your new address.
