My experience with Rianon has led me to cancel my session after placing a deposit. Communication was terrible. Besides the initial inquiry and the day I requested to cancel, all other communication was met with at least a 3-4 day delay in response. Multiple times, I even asked if we could hop on a call instead of having to wait days to hear something back. After putting a deposit, I asked to finalize a location and time. it took several email reminders to get a response. Then after sending the requested photo inspiration , Rianon responded with locations that was completely different from what I had asked for. Some people are sincere and make you feel like your value is more than a paycheck to them, Rianon did not come across that way. Trust your instinct and make sure you get everything you need before placing a deposit. I lost $200 but sure glad I didn't lose more time from my vacation to make this photo session work. read more

Rianon is a magical photographer, both in talent and in personality. I booked with Rianon shortly after getting engaged in 2018 for our wedding in 2020. We had a 30 min. discovery call before I booked and she answered all of my questions, including the one where I felt nervous for my now-husband who doesn't like taking pictures. Fast forward to 2020 and when we decided (read: NEEDED) to postpone our spring wedding because of the pandemic, Rianon was very understanding and worked with me on rescheduling her services for our new wedding date. Now that a lot of our wedding day was just ceremony and no reception, she asked about our budget and new needs and suggested a whole new schedule for us. When I told her my Mexican desert vision for our photos, she literally squealed and got so excited about making it come to life. She suggested we go to Koko Crater Botanical Gardens and gave me the rundown of the hike, what shoes to wear, etc. (Yes, I hiked in my wedding dress for the photos.) Anyway, I can't recommend Rianon enough. She turned around our photos faster than the 60-day time frame she originally gave us and answered all of my post-wedding questions about printing, posting to social media and my blog, etc. She is literally the sweetest person ever and I can't wait to work with her in the future on a brand photoshoot and future family photoshoots. Rianon was a dream to work with! She made me feel comfortable and prepared for my branding/boudoir shoot from start to finish! One of the best photographers ever!! She's makes pictures look so magical ! If you want proof, view her Instagram page! I've seen many people's work, but hers, I absolutely fell in love with! If you book her for holiday photos, book in advance cause she gets really busy... I used her for family photos and they all came out beautiful! We did the sunrise session which wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. We were able to shoot at Sherwoods beach in the wooded areas, And also along the shoreline.. with different outfit changes. She was nice, sweet, and easy to get along with. Made the whole process feel really comfortable. Although she doesn't have much reviews on here, it seems like she really doesn't need it. Just look at her work and you'll see why. You don't need to read reviews to see her quality. Regardless of it, she will get tons of clients no matter what... and yes, that's just how good she is. Even though Rianon's photography speaks for itself I wanted to write a review to say how amazing she really is. Her style of photography and the way she captures your photos is one of a kind. I was recommended to her by a friend last minute when we decided to do an engagement shoot while vacationing in Hawaii. Not only was she available (luckily) but she was so flexible and easy to work with. Rianon's personality really helped us open up and be comfortable in front of the camera. I love that she told us she's really picky so she lets you pick from all of your unedited photos and then edit the ones you want. I love that! As someone who works in the media industry, I had very high expectations for the quality of our photos. Rianon surpassed all expectations and has completely blown us away with her attention to detail and her ability to capture "us" as a couple while capturing the beauty of our surroundings. Rianon beautifully captured our ceremony and made for a wonderfully comfortable and fun afternoon of enjoying the sights while taking more photos. In planning our shoot, we gave Rianon an idea of what types of backdrops we were interested in and she quickly responded with a number of options and was able to accommodate all requests. Communication was quick and clear and we were able to figure out our day in no time. Rianon is a true professional and artist. She knows Oahu so well and took us to the perfect locations and skillfully used the natural daylight to capture our day. Rianon's style of taking photos allowed us to be comfortable and natural. She works quickly and efficiently. This made for the most authentic photos upon receiving our gallery. After our wedding day, we quickly received a password-protected gallery, which allowed us to choose our final photos to be retouched. This part was difficult because we could have easily selected them all. There was a lot of variety and options for each photo setup, which allowed for both my wife and I to be happy with our individual appearance in each photo. Once our photos were selected, Rianon worked quickly to get us our finished photos. Each photo is treated as if it is going to be hung like a star piece in an art gallery. She doesn't select a couple of photos to spend a lot of time on and then quickly skims over the rest - she treats EVERY photo like it will be treated as your "star" photo to be shared with friends and family. We received the final images at a very high resolution that allows us to print on large scale. Rianon will ask you if there's anything in particular you would like touched up. Her gallery system allows you to add custom retouching notes for each photo, which makes communication very easy. We just left the notes blank and left the retouching in the expert hands of Rianon. Planning a wedding and photo-shoot from 4600 miles away can be an intimidating thought. We were thrilled with how flawless the process has been from our initial email to receiving our final photos. The communication has been excellent and the final product speaks for itself. Rianon uses a quality online system to easily manage your photoshoot and allows you to easily view, comment on and download your photos. Our family and friends love our photos and share the same loss of words in describing their perfection.
