His returns consistently required multiple corrections due to obvious oversights. We had to review everything very carefully before filing. For basic taxes, this was manageable. The relationship ended when we needed help with a business EV tax credit issue. There were numerous details showing Kyle wasn't paying attention and was filing forms blindly without any investigation. His amendments kept getting rejected by the IRS. When I offered to give him power of attorney so he could properly investigate our specific case with the IRS, he refused, saying that wasn't part of his job. His final correspondence was offering to help write an appeal draft to the IRS without providing any details on how he would actually solve the underlying issue or do any due diligence. I'm saving the inner details as they would take too much time to explain, but after months of no progress, we hired another professional who diagnosed the root cause within days. Bottom line: Kyle doesn't do due diligence. Fine for straightforward W2 returns if you're willing to double-check his work. Not recommended for anything requiring investigation or problem-solving.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ -------------- Update in response to business owner: Kyle claims several things are "misstated" but here are the facts for anyone reading: Regarding purchase structure: Form 15400 from Tesla clearly listed the business name and EIN. I sent Kyle an email explicitly stating the vehicle was purchased for the business. Kyle ignored both the form and my email. When the IRS first rejected our filing, I sent Kyle a screenshot proving I had told him it was purchased under the business name. At that point, Kyle tried to charge me an additional $500 for an amendment, claiming I had "never told him" it was for the business - despite having documentary proof that I had. Regarding "clear path to remedy": Kyle provided no actual solution. He repeatedly blamed Tesla for incorrect filing. Tesla then reviewed Kyle's tax forms and identified multiple errors KYLE had made, providing corrections. Kyle was simply deflecting his own mistakes onto Tesla. He also falsely claimed he had "the exact same problem with other clients." Regarding timeline and IRS processing: The delays were caused entirely by Kyle's errors, not IRS processing. Even after being told he made mistakes, Kyle entered my personal SSN instead of the business EIN on amendment forms. We discovered many other reporting errors after the second IRS rejection. The timeline was driven by Kyle repeatedly filing incorrect forms, not by IRS processing delays. These are facts, not misstatements.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Whatever his reasoning is below is a sham. He should be embarrassed.. If I can leave a zero I would. I was in dire need of an accountant. I had not completed my returns in a few years after splitting up from my spouse. Finally I reached out to Christian for assistance. I selected him because I wanted to give him some help on Yelp for being a small business owner who had hardly any ratings. He had this speech impediment that struck at my heart strings and I just wanted to give him a chance. Good God has it been a terrible experience since then. I finally got to a point where I am able to purchase a house and the ONLY thing at this point was my tax returns. I work in sales so it takes a while to get to a point where you make enough in commissions that you can show a profit to be able to buy a house. Anyway, it took him over TWO YEARS to do simple tax returns. TWO YEARS! At this point, I'm invested in this foolishness. I just wanted this to be done. During this course, of course, interest rates gone up A LOT!!! Anytime I asked him to fix anything it would take a month to get them back. I think he does that so he can scan us out of money pretending that he was working soooo hard on these files. The $1440 was already inputted into the QuickBooks supposedly.. smh.. the more I think about this, the more I get upset because of his shady practices. It's unbelievable. He took me on for a ride, didn't deliver, took my money, had the lamest excuses why he could not do anything on time or a timely fashion. Shame in him! The supposedly e-filed them. He never once checked to see if the IRS accepted the forms. He assumed that it was accepted but two bounced back. He charged me $1440 for the returns. Which I paid. A couple of months later, I received a crazy high IRS bill when it was supposed to be nothing, I mean this bill is so high, it is the cost of a brand new car. I called Christian and we stayed had to call the IRS.. that was less than one hour. In this call, we found out two of the returns bounced back. To his surprise, from his lack of work, I needed to snail mail my return, and he needed to take my ex spouse off one of them. I saw him play with the numbers on a zoom call adding and removing my ex-spouse in under five minutes. I by is he trying to charge me about her $1500 for all this. So for $1440 you do four tax returns and then now $1500 for a quick one hour phone call and simple removal of a person?? The numbers aren't adding up. It's obvious at this point, he doesn't care about this (me) client. He's slow played me for two darn years and still hasn't gotten it correct. I texted him about how ridiculous this was and how shady his business practice is and you know what he did?? He put his wife on the phone and she started talking mad sh*t to me. He literally sicked his wife on me. She had the audacity to tell me I should have done my taxes. Uhm hello, that why I hired you guys. Not to waste two years of my life hoping this joker would do his job only to take me for my money and never ever delivering on his end. During the two years whenever I asked for him to call me or the status of my returns, he always had an excuse either he was sick, his wife was sick, his kids were sick, or back all over again, or in the hospital or he's in school, or the funny excuse was he was at his real job. I said real job?? I thought he was an accountant?? His wife said he works somewhere as an accountant. He doesn't have his own practice. So what has he been doing these past two years?? Pretending to be his own company?? It doesn't make any sense.. I still don't have my missing two tax returns and he g wants to charge me an extra amount for work he's already completed. People if you are reading this... don't use him. I literally wasted two years. I paid him already for nothing essentially. I have to find a new accountant and pay them to do the work he supposedly did already. So I'm paying double either way but I will not pay THIS man twice who obviously sat on my returns for two years. If I went along with him, I'd be eating probably another two more years. This is ridiculous!!!!
