Purple Plumber is a one man operation and when he was away in the past, another service covered for him. That is where the good review came from in the past. I've now dealt with John, the Purple Plumber himself. What an angry, unhappy man. I work in customer service and this man hit every button of what not to do. He is a great plumber, I believe he is, but he needs to hire someone to deal with people for him. Grumpy, angry, impatient. He got so angry at me for paying within 10 days of a service call, he wanted payment the day of but he doesn't take credit cards. Hard to do if you aren't at home at the time of the service call. He wouldn't work on my type of hot water heater and instead of telling me so, he went off on me about how he hates the type I own. Wow, how is the guy still in business? Neffsville Plumbing and Heating charge $58 for a call out, use them instead. No plumber is perfect but at least if you avoid Purple Plumber, you won't be lectured and grumbled at by some old man that must hate his life and his job.

Here we are 2 older folks living with cooler since July 5. If & when whirlpool decides to replace it will be none too soon. K & A is apparently done with us but I check in daily just to see if they have had a change of heart. We would welcome back the loaner.

Staff was super friendly and a technician came out to me in a matter of days explaining everything that was wrong (it fried itself), what our next steps that will be taken, parts that'll be ordered, and of course payment. With snow imploding on our next visit I was kept updated on all the things and options to change my appt date. I love that they call 30 minutes before arriving. They offered a warranty that is the topping on a great experience. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for great service, amazing communication and quality work.
