We have been Lexus owners for over 15 years. One of the main reasons we buy the Lexus is for their service department. Unfortunately, the service department has gone downhill. All of the service techs that I used to deal with (Francis, Joe Mena) have left for other dealerships. The new group of service attendance don't seem to care about the customer. When you walk in all of the service texts have their head in the computer and look as if they're trying to avoid assisting customers at all costs. It is very uncomfortable going from desk to desk asking for assistance. Something has to change with that service department or I will take my business elsewhere. read more

They hook you with the sales pitch but the service has been less than positive. They're lazy and unwilling to help. The first time I took my car to this location they left the brand new uninstalled air filter on my passenger seat but signed off on the repair as complete and returned the car to me. If they left that undone how can I trust that they did the rest of the checklist. The second time I visited here I was given a loaner so they could finish work and had to stand in line while someone stared at their phone directly in front of me for nearly 5 minutes. Today and the last time I will visit - I pulled in at 4:35 on a Saturday. Didn't know they closed at 5 but asked The woman who checked me in if someone could still write up a service request for my car. Even if it meant me dropping it off at a later date - at least that work would be done so I could do it before dropping my son off at school etc.. She said that she would check to see who was available and came back with a gentleman who while on the way to approaching my car said to her that he needed to be in Palm Beach by six and couldn't do anything for me. He told me I could come back Monday. He may have been the service manager - I'll go somewhere where closing at 5 means closing at 5 not 4:35-4:45 (once the man came out of the showroom to address me) There were 4 men standing around chatting - I bet one of them is getting paid until 5. ‍ To the woman who is responsible for responding to reviews and inviting customers to talk to the service manager - here is what I have to say: offer some training and stand by your promise to provide luxury service. Josue Toyosato has been our personal service manager for 10 years and is the best at what he does. Michael Thomas delivered our last car and now I understand why he is the VIP sales Manager. Michael makes the process so smooth and easy. We look forward going to the Service Center in Margate that makes us feel at home. My wife likes the massage chairs and I like the Cappuccino coffee. They promise that fixing a certain part will correct the problem so you pay them good money to do that and then they come up with a new story for a lot more money and that didn't work either to the point where ive now pit more money into repairs than the car is worth. I spent nearly $6,000 servicing a 2003 Lexus in May at JM and was assured that would be all that it took to get the vehicle back up and running. I never would have spent it had I known that, just a couple of months later, all of the same oil leak related problems would resurface again, after which I brought the vehicle back and was told that another $6,000 worth of work was required. Until I specifically asked about what the trade in value of the vehicle is on the second visit, no one ever previously told me that the vehicle is only worth $2,000. If I would have been given any clue in May that the problems would or could reoccur, I never would have spent the first 6k, and instead just gotten rid of the vehicle. If I didn't ask and complain the second time, they were more than happy to charge me another 6k. Once I complained they offered to give me a 'deal' to do the work for around $4300, at which point I again asked about how much the vehicle is worth. I ultimately didn't do any work on the second visit and will now look to sell the vehicle but shame on them for fooling me into thinking that the first 6k worth of work would fix the oil leak problem. I suspect these guys are working on commission and perhaps they have quotas to meet, but this was just a poor customer experience and frankly a rip off. read more

Been going to JM Lexus for years have had two Amazing Advisors. When I made my appointment I specially ask the appointment coordinator That my advisor was Jim and I ONLY wanted him to help me. My wife dropped her SC430 Lexus for 4 tires which we supplied. The car was towed in due to a flat and the vehicle has no spare tire. The service drive gave her car to Charles Durrant Without my knowledge. She asked Charles Durrant the cost to mount and balance the four client supplied tire, remove the wheel locks and put regular lug nuts and reset TPMS system. She was told $492- and called to ask if that was ok. It sounded fine. Sometime later even though the check in sheet noted ALL the requested services. Charles Durrant Called me and stated he FORGOT to include the charge For the wheel lock removal. I was quote first an additional $219- stating it was a big project. When confronted that I knew the dealer ship had the master key set from speaking with parts before towing the car in. The FORGOTTEN work was lowered to $169-. I took the original quote of $492- and the $169- and said ok. Let's make note I had NEVER been misquoted by either If my other advisors! Charles Durrant called my wife stating her car was done. When asked what the bill was he stated was not done yet. She told him if the bills not ready how is the car done??? Then out of the blue I recurved the email requesting $1167- dollars as noted in the picture. I went to the dealer ship with my wife and the service manger review the paperwork and removed the unquoted and unauthorized charges The final bill as noted in the pictures was $507- Charles Durrant is a SCAMMER / thief !!! This is the exact opposite of all my previous experiences with JM Lexus Then the car did NOT even make it two blocks Before having to bring it back to have the work redone as the wheel balance was NOT done correctly. Car shopping. Everyone's favorite thing to do right? Especially at a retail outlet. I dreaded it! Well I recently decided to take the plunge and get a really amazing driving machine. The Lexus RC turbo F sport. I went to a competitor and made what was thinking was my best deal. Since it was a fairly spontaneous purchase I didn't do the amount of research I would've normally done and you should know that I am from a history of working in the automotive industry from the IT world. I was transferred back and forth from a sales rep to a sales manager while sitting for hours only to have them come and tell me my accessories choices didn't make sense and tried to talk me out of the deal. I stuck firm to my choices and was presented with such a high payment I wanna totally blown away. As I inquired as to the prices and what was in the deal I was met with major apprehension and railroaded into making a $600 deposit which at the sales manager request became a $2000 additional deposit. I started really looking at the deal I discovered they were trying to charge me $3000 for an exhaust system that retailed on the Lexus website for $1800. I was lied to and hung up on several times. I even spoke to frank the general manager who assured me everything would be made right. I then decided to contact Greg Ziegler at JM Lexus who assigned me to Rich Meier. These guys not only put me in an RC 350 with everything I wanted but got me in the car for $20 less than the other dealer was charging for the lower model. Rich actually drove to vero beach to meet with my co signer in his own time to make the deal work and did everything in his power to make me a satisfied client. Truly the best deal I've gotten yet on a Lexus and what a great buying experience! I dealt with Khaled - a very polite, patient, helpful guy. I never felt like I was pressured or like anything didn't add up. The facility itself is very nice. Self serve snack bar, nice waiting area with ipads... From the lack of effort trying to make me feel like my sales person, Michelle, had any interest in what I wanted and not interested building a relationship like the other dealerships. He seems like he is so miserable and had a chip on his shoulder and wasn't even making an effort with the suv I wanted and just what they had on the lot trying to get rid of like we were some push overs... Umm No.. He mentioned his family were all Dr.'s or something and maybe that's why he's miserable because he's behind the desk at a car dealership.. who knows.. but if you don't like your job, find something that you do like so you don't ruin the company's image you work for and a customer's experience... I've tried to give JM my business on 2 occasions now and let me tell you.. I have 1 word to explain their company/business ethics : SUCKS ! The first time I called 2 sales associates (about 5yrs ago) stating I need to get a car the weekend that was coming up and what I wanted and no return call. It was a given sale for them ! no one returned my call ! Rude ! unprofessional and disgusting... So, I went to Palm Beach Lexus and stayed with them for 4yrs and called the GM of JM Lexus on my way home letting him know his 2 sales associates sucked and lost a deal.. I ended up with what I wanted; Lexus IS F sport. Thank you Palm Beach Lexus ! And since I've moved south, after this last experience back in August, we went to North Miami which is ahhhmmazzinggg ! Overall a beautiful dealership. Bought both or cars here. Only thing I could say is don't opt into the extra service plan. They use "bulk" oil whatever that means. When I take my Lexus with no service plan I pay the extra for full synthetic oil to ensure I'm maintaining my my Lexus properly, however when I take my wife's Lexus suv that has the service plan you get the bulk oil. All in all I would pay the extra all day to make sure I'm putting synthetic oil in my vehicles. Side note I asked twice for 2 old tires to be disposed of in my trunk and the advisor surely guaranteed it would be taken care of which it was not still sitting in my trunk. read more

Update: A man named Jared Pele with JM Lexus contacted me about my experience, and worked with me to replace the items that were supposed to be in the car when I purchased it. Jared was very nice. I think he really wanted to make things right. It took some time, but he called when he said he would. He made no promises but did what he said he would. That's important to me. If you tell me you're going to do something and you do it, you will have my respect. I'm disappointed the the purchasing manager wasn't interested in making things right, but water under the bridge. If I bought another Lexus, or knew of someone buying one I wouldn't recommend his team, just to be safe. Buying a car is hard enough, without that gut feeling that your being lied to and ripped off. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here anymore. I took my cars for service and I was not impressed. I took my car and I was told they cannot find my car and then they couldn't find my keys. I was given a rental car until they can find my car and keys. A next service visit for the same car, I brought a concern that the car is pulling to the right. They recommend to get an alignment and change the tires which was already new tires that I bought the car with from Lexus. I changed the tires and did an alignment three times at my own expense while the cover is under warranty and the car was still pulling to the right. I went back to the dealer and my service advisor was Charles and they want to charge $99 just for them to look at the car! I left and won't return for any services. I had an amazing experience at JM Lexus. This was my first time getting a Lexus from this dealership. Saw two cars in their inventory and came in person to check them out. Mr Saqib Khan helped us out throughout the whole process from checking out the cars we liked to test drive and finally purchasing process. Saqib was very helpful and was not pushy at all. He was honest, calm and comfortable to work with. Even though we arrived at 6 pm on a Friday evening just two hours before they close, Saqib was able to show us both cars, let us test drive them and complete the purchase. He ended up staying late to make sure all paper work is done and we can walk out with the car. At no time he felt irritated that we came in the last minute to check out, test drive and finally make a decision to buy the car. This dealership wasted 4 hours of my day yesterday. I had scheduled an 11:30AM appointment for my RX350 first for oil change and showed up exactly on time. I was told I should take care of a recall while I was there and it would take 1 hour in addition to the oil chance, so I agreed. After sitting around and waiting for over 2 hours, I was told that it would take another 2 hours and that they have not even began to work on my vehicle yet. Casey my rep tells me that he doesn't want to rush things because the other day one of the mechanics left a fan connector off on one of the jobs and then the car overheated and had to be towed back to the dealership. So as Lexus customer, I'm supposed to wait 4+ hours so that we don't rush the mechanic to risk receiving poor service ??? Who is managing their scheduling functions? I really felt like an overbooked airline situation. They offered a loaner car but because my wife's insurance card was not in my possession or in the car, that wasn't an option. At that point I was so frustrated & disappointed, I took my keys and left to get back to work. To me it doesn't seem like anyone there cares about the customer, they think since they already sold you the car, you are at their mercy. I really regret ever doing business with JM Lexus. This place ranks right up with the DMV experiences. Highly recommend going to a different Lexus dealer other than JM. read more

Salesman: Arly Edmonds Not the JM Lexus of years past. Shady and deceitful tactics. I will not buy from JM Lexus based on principle at this point. It's sad because I was literally on my way to buy their vehicle when they went back on their word. We came in ready to buy a GX 460 with the title to our trade in and our check book in hand. After reviewing our trade in we were actually satisfied and ready to finish the deal but the salesman and the used car appraiser said "if you get a KBB offer from another dealer that is higher than our appraisal, we will match it on your trade in." One of them even pointed across the street at Al Hendrickson Toyota and said "if you go across the street and get a better appraisal from Al Hendrickson Toyota, we will match it." After saying this back to the salesman to confirm what I'd heard, he acknowledged the offer. We set off to get a better appraisal. We spent time at two dealerships getting this appraisal which came back higher than our trade in value. The next day, I called the salesman with the higher value. He immediately started telling me he never said that, that this all was my idea, and that JM Lexus would never do this. At this point, we were $2,000 apart on our trade in value. Frustrated at this sudden change, I still wanted to see if there was another way to complete the deal - so I started asking what else could be done but the salesman kept building the wall of "no" and "we can't do anything else." No apology, no willingness to acknowledge that my time had been wasted and that they weren't doing what they said they would do. Through all of this he had an aggressive and dismissive tone. He made no effort to right the situation at all. I gave him three distinct chances to right the wrong. I was on my way back to the dealership, in the car, ready to complete the deal. The $2,000 difference is not what upsets me (my wife and I had actually agreed to buy the Lexus with their trade-in value). I will not buy from JM Lexus because they failed to do what they said they would and they now employ salesmen that act like they work at a used-car shack, changing the deal and not living up to their promises. I sent a copy of this review to the salesman and the management team three days ago and never received a response. This review could have been avoided with a simple apology or again an acknowledgement of the situation but it's been made clear to me that's not in JM Lexus' playbook any more. read more

My fiancé leased a vehicle from JM about a year ago. We did get a decent deal on the lease, but it's been a terrible experience since then. First we received an unexpected 400 dollar fee from returning the old lease. We were made to believe that all fees associated with turning in the old lease would be taken care of as part of the deal, but I guess that wasn't true. Greg Spanos, our salesman, was difficult to reach, and when we finally heard back we were told we were out of luck. 400 dollars isn't the end of the world, but it seems that from the start, we were misled. Today I scheduled an appointment for service because the check engine light was on. When I brought the car down, I was told that they couldn't look at it today despite me having an appointment. They then refused to issue a loaner car because I am not the primary driver of the vehicle. My fiancé had to leave early from work. You may get a good deal from JM but the service has been terrible, and there are plenty of competitive dealerships in South Florida. Next time we will go with another Lexus dealer. read more

I am so fuming right now. I just called to schedule an appointment with Lexus for the 'floor mat and retention clip' safety recall. Once again, I had the misfortune of speaking with Terry. This woman has ZERO manners. She is RUDE!!!!!!! She started telling me that it was already corrected. So I inquired further - asking why I got the letter and stating that I don't remember bringing it in for this issue.. but instead, I remember bringing it in for a different safety recall. She was so arrogant, as if she knew it all.. she told me she would check and then stated that one report said it was corrected, but another said it was not. I said since it was a safety issue and that the reports contradicted each other, that I would like to bring it in - she sighed and said fine. SERIOUSLY???? What kind of customer service is this??????? At one point, we both started to speak at the same time, so I waited for her to finish.. and she had the audacity to say, "I am not done, let me finish talking." Was that necessary when I had already stopped and was waiting for her to continue? I have had the same problem with her before. She is horrible. It pains me to give such a poor review to JM because usually they are excellent, but in this case absolutely warranted. Went in for routine oil change, the following day the sunshade did not deploy all the way. Motor was fine, just looked like something was getting stuck. Brought it back, they reassigned me to a different service advisor, young kid...kind of a punk. He came back after 5 minutes and said my sunshade was broken, need to replace entire thing...for $1500!! Now, I had already done my research on Club Lexus forums...and others have warned of this trick to rip you off. In fact, the stated price of $1500 was the exact amount others had warned of. I expressed how illogical his solution was, he agreed motor was fine and problem was very simply with the full extension of the shade. I made him take it back to the mechanics, and rapproach solution with a fix, not a replace. Reluctantly, he agreed but visibly annoyed. 5 min later came back, tossed keys to me said it works perfect now. Just had to loosen the screws that extend the metal part of shade. Very sad day for this Lexus dealer. No need to say more, this story speaks for itself. Just need to share as I'm certain others have experienced something similar. read more

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU BUY A USED CAR FROM JM LEXUS!!!! My family has now purchased 4 cars from JM Lexus, but the 4th will be the last! My sister-in-law wanted to purchase a used CT200H so I went with her to assist. Mr. Moran would be furious for his customers to be treated in this manner. I will go out of my way to guide people away from this dealership in the future. I suppose this is what happens when you get cocky about being the top volume dealer. The salesperson, first presented and tried to close us on a price for a car that was $4000 less than the asking price of the vehicle we drove. While I understand mistakes can happen, rather than accept accountability for her mistake, she acted like a typical car salesperson, but then had a little attitude. Her name was Pam Boris. Fortunately for her, the sales Manager, Heath, handled the situation in the manner I had become accustomed to in dealing with what what once a phenomenal dealership. We agreed upon a cash price and then things got worse. Another family member overheard the finance guy using foul language about "an F-ing Cash Deal" and then it got worse. He was rude and insulting to my sister-in-law because she didn't want to buy the extended warranty and made some demeaning comments to her. THEN HE SAID THE REAL TEST WOULD SEE IF THE CHECK CLEARED. If it was my purchase, I would have ripped the check to shreds and walked out of this place. What a scumbag. While the other cars we've purchased were new vehicles, I will never walk into that dealership again. I am still furious and embarrassed that I took her there!!! (sorry for grammatical error and typos in advance- just pissed) I went in for a simple oil change and they tried to hoodwink me into buying a $500+ oil pan. I have never EVER experienced rip-off service when taking my car into a Lexus service store. They told me "your nut and or threads are strip and we will not touch it unless you give us ok to charge you for an oil pan- I was in Shock! WTF got to be kidding but no they were not. I spoke with lady Client Service manager ( I will not call her out by name here) but she and the rep should be reprimanded and the mechanic Fired! They told me yea you should take it to the last dealer or who ever did the old change. I needed a oil change that day badly as I was driving 400 miles north that day and because of these guys I had an added expense of a hotel because I had to address this situation and no way I driving that far with the oil needing to be changed. So she asked do you want me to have him do it or put the car down and I am like put my car down and give me my keys! SO the next day as they made me wait for hours the previous only to put me through that stress ringer to get it checked out by a mechanic who I TRUST at their shop like 911 the next day. Friends, I took pictures and video. Let me fast forward. The mechanic left the nut loose so oil could leak in my oil pan, I never ever have a oil leek with my car but because I did not drive it much after they told me that not much leaked out Thank God. SO the mechanic took me under the car we went at same time so I could see what he saw so there are no misunderstanding... There was nothing NOTHING wrong with my oil pan and the threads were not strip matter fact looked brand New yes BRAND NEW and took it out for me to take a picture which you will see and he then screwed in but in with his finger and it was all taken care of and sense have driven over 800 miles no leak no problems and to think I went in for an oil change $60 and they was trying to have me pay more like $600. NEVER AGAIN- I never second guess Lexus now I am jaded thanks to JM Lexus- JADED. If they thought the smelled money or fool they were wrong on both accounts. Visit BEWARE. read more

Now this is a car dealership that has a history of screw ups and beyond. To begin you will never be able to buy on the first trip there. When you get there they will try to treat you like you are the scum of the earth tell you your car belongs in a junkyard when they price your trade in and then they will give you a price on the car you wanna buy equivalent to the price of buying a house. Once beyond this nightmare you leave the dealership and within 24-48 hours you will get a call from someone in the dealership who will beg you to come back in as they have a deal of a lifetime for you. So being human you go back there and guess what the games begin again. Now they will try to surprise you with some new made up fees as you try to buy a car. Dealership fees. Transfer fees. Title fees. Internet fees. Your car looks this way fees and imagination keeps on going. I had an ok sales experience. some of the fees were unreasonable, $400 for a title ? and the dealer fee. what I'm writing about today, is the Service. I noticed they are using aftermarket products, that are Not recommend by Toyota or Lexus. I emailed Ask Toyota, and was told that adding oil additives to new oil could void the factory warranty. I showed this to the lead service manager... he could care a less. if you read the after market website on the products they sell, its all about dealer profit, zero technical information on the actual products. This has me very concerned. If a dealer is willing to void a warranty for a small profit, what else are they doing? How do I know they are using Toyota oil? brake fluids? etc.... The main reason I go to the dealer is factory parts, but when they clearly ignore the factory policy, for a profit, what else are they willing to do? other than this issue, I don't really have any complaints. I expect to pay a little more for Lexus service. but I don't expect to get inferior parts. therefore, can't recommend their service. read more
