We had seen everything from rude salesmen who may have been hungover to rundown travel trailers (when we had stayed we wanted new). We arrived at Bankston in Albertville and were greeted by David Tyler with a professional and immediate family atmosphere feeling. He was not pushy at all on anything, immediately asked what we wanted in a travel trailer and pointed us to the ones he had on the lot. We ended up making a deal that day. The process takes about a week to complete the paperwork and get the RV prepped for delivery and David made us aware of that upfront. When David told us everything was ready, we came in by appointment early Saturday morning. Their whole team tag-teamed everything. One guy took my truck and started assembling my EC2 leveling/stabilizing hitch and configured it to my truck how it should be. While that gentleman was doing that, David took our check and finalized the bill of sale. At the same time Lee started walking me around and explaining how everything and I mean everything worked, how to maintain it, and the things not to do. We had a few things we wanted fixed, and their team jumped right on it with no questions asked! We did find a few items that would take longer for repairs, they asked us how we wanted to handle it (never pushed us to take it off the lot) and worked with us so we can go use it for the season and then be able to call them to let them know when we could bring it so they could order everything needed, and then drop it off for the time he said it will take for repairs. While waiting, we also met Rick who was an older gentleman with lots of knowledge. To point out that they aren't trying to price gouge anyone, I purchased the same items I had saved in my Amazon cart from them and was over $70 saved by purchasing from Bankston. One item I was going to buy was a pressure regulator that had the gauge one it, upon putting it on the counter, Rick pointed me to a cheaper version if I didn't feel like buying the more expensive on. We were absolutely treated like we just bought Will Smiths $2M Class A when we only spent under $30k. I felt like we had the red carpet rolled out. Our family was welcomed and treated like family there. We will continue to go back to Bankston of Albertville for all of our RV needs and even a future upgrade if we need one! Waited for an hour, in 90 degree heat with a wife on oxygen waiting to go in and sit down, but no one. Called to speak to Manager, told this store does not have one I would have to call Huntsville location. Called that location and transfered back to original dealership and connected to asst manager who after 15 minutes on the phone said "he dont have a tech to speak to me as they are out to lunch still. This was after 1pm in the afternoon and over an hour of waiting and still no one to help. I managed to grab a Mobile RV tech that was in the resort that I had gone to and he came over after seeing my wife having to keep going into the truck to cool down and plug her portable oxygen concentrator in, he was able.to trouble shot the problem and only charged me $150.00 for the fix. Bankston's asst GM called me and all she could offer is me using my warranty on the first day using my rv, which would have made is wait even longer for the fix. BANKSTON RV SUCKS, and they will never see me step foot in the door again.

Instead, we were charged for the most expensive oil change they offer without clear explanation. On top of that, I was given a quote for almost $2,000 in recommended repairs right before we were leaving to go out of town. I didn't feel comfortable with what I was being told, so I decided to get a second opinion instead. I took my car to Ronnie Watkins, and they diagnosed and fixed the problem for less than $100. When my husband called to question something, the guy in the office was rude. Zero Stars. I wanted to rate this zero stars, but it wouldn't let me…read more Worst experience I have ever had with a tire shop. A tech and the shop manager were both rude. Both techs involved were either very bad at their job or just did not care. I went in with one special need as a customer - I have lug nuts that are made of lightweight aluminum and have to be tightened with a torque wrench, no air tools. As a courtesy I let them know that one of the tires had fix a flat in it. One of my rims had a crack and I was at Elgin's to swap the tires to another set of wheels. As they were putting the second wheel on the car, I noticed that the tech was putting the driver's side front tire on and that it and the rear wheel were turning in opposite directions. I went into the shop and asked him about it. He made mention that he had to put it there because the tire was directional and had to be on that side. As I walked away to look for the manager I heard him call out to the other tech and say that there was a problem - the wheels were directional. I didn't see the manager right away so I went up to the other tech to ask if the guy was just putting the wheel on the wrong side or if the wheel had been mounted backwards. He did not answer me, walked away and looked at the wheels they had already mounted, then headed to the office, all without a word to me. The manager came back out and looked at it. I said that they had mounted two of the tires backwards and he got angry. He began to curse and talk about all of my special needs (directional tires, low profile tires, directional wheels, special lug nuts) and how they were trying to be accommodating. When I asked him to have them fix it he refused and said they were going to put the tires on so I could leave and that was that. I said, "So I have to pay someone else to fix this?" He cursed at me some more and reiterated that they would not fix it and then told me it was my fault for not noticing it sooner. He made no offer to refund any of my money. After I told him I was from out of town he told me I could come back during the week (this was on a Saturday) and he would "look at it then." Still no offer of any kind to actually make it right or refund any of my money. When I left I had two wheels mounted backwards on the rim, they kept my polished valve stem caps and replaced them with the cheap black ones, and one of those was missing. Some of the lug nuts were not tightened all the way down and the manager not once made any form of apology for his techs and how inept they were or his poor attitude. Directional wheels, directional tires and low profile tires are all stock on a great many vehicles. If they can not accommodate stock options such as those, they should get out of the tire business. The techs were inept, the manager was rude, dismissive and equally lacking in knowledge about simple tire and wheel concepts. I would never pull into their parking lot again. Not even if I had four flat tires. I would ride the rims until I could make it ANYWHERE else.
