He told me he couldn't help and abandoned me and Annabelle there. She walked towards him when he showed up so she saw that he drove away after he said he couldn't help. I called State Farm because I wanted to follow through because he said he called for another towing to come. They canceled thrice and I was afraid my car was going to be hit by a vehicle trying to pull out in front of me. It just kept getting closer at the time. I ended up interrupting my friend at work who showed up about two hours later. He had a pickup about a little smaller and barely a tower and got me out and parked me near the fire hydrant on the curb. I told the guy when he was there he could park it anywhere close to the curb so it would not get struck hopefully. Now what I don't get is why is the towing guy claiming he helped me when he spoke to me from afar and then abandoned me? Then he said my car was in the pileup? I don't think he's understanding that he's not getting the facts straight about the interaction. I didn't expect him to retaliate with a text this morning. He said: STOP LYING ON PEOPLE, IT REALLY REALLY HURTS SMALL BUSINESSES What are you talking about? I very clearly tried to help you and got stuck myself, I went back to help another customer in the area the very next day and seen your vehicle at the very bottom of a 8 car pile up so how'd your friend pull you out of that???? If we show up and see that the job isn't safe to do we mark it as unsuccessful after that it's out of our hands. I have 6 children to make it back home to safely. And I never even showed up in a truck.... Please add the photos of your friend pulling you out for further proof. You're the first 1 star review out of over 120 5 star reviews. Make it make sense!!!!!!!!!!! You WILL NEVER EVER RECEIVE ASSISTANCE FROM ME AGAIN AND YOU BETTER HOPE YOU DON'T NEED IT EITHER BECAUSE I HELP A LOT OF PEOPLE HERE IN WINSTON SALEM ON A DAILY BASIS I responded because I was being disrespected. His soothing and calm voice smoothed us right out. He was kind, thoughtful, honest and encouraging. Now this trailer was a homemade job and couldn't be fitted with just any old rim and being Memorial Day, it was tricky. Tyrell researched it out and called us right back. That 15 minutes seemed like forever, but trust me dear reader, it was quick. Tyrell found what we needed. Came and picked up the rim, took it for a new tire and came back and helped Tim put it back on. He stayed in touch about his progress along the way. When you're stranded and feeling helpless, those contacts made a big difference on our stress level. I nor my husband called parkway towing/wrecker service after an accident November 2024. I have AAA…read moreand contacted them before going to the accident scene. I informed the driver from parkway and he not only refused to stop and allow the people I called to handle my vehicle but also refused to take my vehicle where I wanted it to go. We live less than half a mile from the accident location and requested the vehicle be taken to our house. There was a pistol in the car that we made prior arrangements with parkway to place in their safe upon arrival of the vehicle until we could secure transportation to retrieve it. I had the pistol with me on my walk to the accident scene and placed it in the glovebox as we had made plans to go to the hospital where it would not have been allowed. The driver with parkway was informed. The car was/is involved in a federal investigation due to possible non deployment of the air bags and recalls concerning such. I was told at the time the car would be safe and to take as long as needed to complete the investigation by an authorized representative from parkway. The car was placed in an "out of the way" area for that specific reason. My husband went by parkway and Mr grubbs informed him he wasn't allowed on the property after Mr grubbs threatened to crush the car before the investigation had taken place. He also quoted a ridiculously inflated storage fee after we had been assured of the cars safe keeping. Needless to say my husband and I weren't happy. Mr grubbs has made no attempt to contact me although he had my mailing address ( as indicated by the simple fact papers were served to my address) and I had notified him of my phone number. We attempted to contact Mr grubbs on numerous occasions however I never received a response. I have call logs with proof of attempts to speak with Mr grubbs and/or an authorized representative from parkway. Even the insurance company had difficulty reaching Mr grubbs. From November 2024 to today's date of April 14, 2026 we have received one (1) return call from Mr grubbs. Parkway is now suing me even though the department of justice has still not completed their investigation.

They were timely; I only had to wait about 45 minutes on a Sunday night, and they came when they were estimated to. We talked about the car and he tried to jump it (I was pretty sure that wouldn't work but you never know). And after towing me to my car care place of choice, he made sure that I had a ride home, which was nice. Great service.
