On-Star should have sent JMB first! On-Star first sent me another company that showed up with a broken jack and and no lug wrench. Another call to On-Star and they hooked me up with James at JMB. He kept in touch as he headed out for the job. Showed up with the right tools and got me on my way in no time at all. I added JMB Towing and James Becker to my contacts list on the phone. If I could give this company -0- stars I would! They were contacted through Harley Roadside Assistance to tow my Harley to the dealer. They were first contacted around 8 am; I followed up to see when they would arrive and was told they had not been contracted. I followed back up with roadside assistance and they were in fact contacted however there was dispute over the amount. Harley straightened it out and they were ultimately contracted. This process took from 8 am to 11 am; then I keep getting updates: on the way, be there in half an hour; oops forgot motorcycle straps but stopping at a store by my house to purchases versus going back to shop; then another 45 minute delay. Then they just stopped answering the phone for roadside program and for me; now it is 3 pm and they are a no show/no call AFTER they accepted the job at the price they negotiated. SHADY business practices, unprofessional, looks like it's a common theme with this company to no show. Nothing like blowing 7 hours waiting for a business to not deliver. If they didn't want the job, turn it down! But to accept it and no show? Unconscionable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give negative stars I would! Very bad business! James, the owner of JMB, is a thief and a liar!!!! On 1/16/22 my husband's truck broke down, and we needed it towed to our home. When I called James' company and spoke to him, he seemed legit. He said that there was a 3 hour wait on the tow, but to be a nice guy, he went and picked up my husband so he wouldn't be stranded. When he brought him home, he explained that the tow truck with our truck, was in route and that I needed to pay him (since I was using a credit card) that the tow truck driver wouldn't be able to take my credit card information. I went ahead and paid James $240. We stayed awake till 7 am waiting on the truck, it did not show up. I then called James and there was no answer, later on in the morning, he did get in touch and apologized that he was sending a tow truck to go and pick up our vehicle. Never got the truck all day on Monday. We called on Tuesday morning he then apologized again and said they had an emergency yesterday, but they were so busy, that he had to call a different tow company called G and H towing to come get us. G and H called us and said that they would be getting our truck and it should be back in our driveway in 2 hours, 2 hours passed no truck, called G and H again and they said it'll be another 2 hours, 2 hours later still had no truck. Now James is not answering his phone, G and H is not answering their phone, both of their voicemails are full (how convenient) and they weren't responding to any of my texts to them. Who does that???? If you can not tow a vehicle, don't say you're doing it!!! James tried to rip us off. Both of these companies were unprofessional and liars and James is a big fat thief!! If I could give a negative 4 start I would. I waited 4 hours for the company to show up (they said they would be here in 90 minutes) They never showed. When you call the number it goes to voice mail and says mail is full. I cancelled with them. Totally a waste of my time. Terrible company read more
