I detest Yelp, but JoJo's is so good at what they do that I signed up for Yelp just so I could post a review. My beaten-down 2019 Honda had been taken for a joyride by kids at the parking garage, including getting hotboxed and keyed. I took it to JoJo's hoping that attention from a pro might improve at least the interior a bit. I do not know what kind of fairy dust they keep in the shop, but JoJo and crew returned a car that looked better than I thought possible and almost as good as the day I bought it; I deeply regret not having before and after pix. Such excellent work would be enough to recommend JoJo's to anyone, but when you add to it that JoJo, Michelle, and crew are really wonderful people, both patient and candid, I just cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

I took my 15 year old car to Jo Jo's to have it cleaned up. When i stopped back to pick up the car I was shocked. First off, how many places can you actually talk to a real live person on the phone, and then meet the same person at the business when you go there? Great customer service, super nice and patient on the phone. Easy to make an appointment and drop the car off in the morning. They estimated that it would be done at 5 but turned out to be done at 330pm. Car looked gorgeous! Some scratches and stuff couldn't be addressed but the car had never been cleaned in 7 years and it looked almost brand new, especially on the inside. It was my first time getting a detailing but the price seemed very reasonable, especially given how stress free the process was and the quality of the clean at the end. They are nice people and they obviously have a good reputation. But I am not at all impressed. For $300, the center console was not vacuumed out, the same dust is still around the screen, and, frankly, it doesn't look like the car was detailed at all. It looks like 30 minutes spent at the $4 car was h on South Broad, with some Armor All wipes thrown in. That car wash has free vacuums. Jo Jo's charged me $300 and didn't do much vacuuming. There are water spots on the mirrors, dust on and around the screen and dirt on the dashboard. Very disappointed. Never again. read more

Wonderful job. My car is so incredibly clean inside and out. There were a lot of little cosmetic things over the years I was either too lazy or ill equipped to handle given my lack of garage space... yeah, the crew took care of it, didn't even need to mention it. Thanks to everyone's reviews on yelp, I've found this place and couldn't be more pleased. I had just left Don's auto shop after changing my oil. Even though I was looking a mess and like 14 years old, they treated me with respect and walked me through everything they were gonna do. JoJo's wife, Michelle, was very sweet and funny. You could tell this place is a family run business. Speaking to the actual work, they did a fantastic job. I paid 100 to get my interior cleaned. It was about 15 years of accumulated dust and crumbs all over the car. They managed to clean all of it and get the dust out. It feels like I'm driving a new car! They listen very well to what you want to throw away and what you want to keep. I've attached photos to show the car after they've cleaned it, but I should have also taken pictures of the car before as well. They took three hours, during which I took the bus to Walmart, but was able to walk back on a nice day. Michelle even offered to pick me up. I will absolutely return, but hopefully I won't need to since the car is so clean now. Thanks, guys! FYI, they take cash only and you pay afterwards. Took in my 2008 Prius for detailing/cleaning. Now this car has seen better days - the backseat (which usually houses a teenage daughter/friends) was covered in OLD coffee stains, random food spills, the works. The floor mat where she sits was BLACK...it should be grey. Front seats have lots of stains, and the center console was filthy from my arm always being there. Dropped off at 8:30 am and was told it would be ready around 6pm. Walked home, and got the call at 530 that it was ready. My...god. My wife flat out said "Wow, that looks almost brand new inside" - literally all the stains...GONE. Everywhere. Floor mats, grey again - center console spotless. Not only that, but they fixed a piece of fabric that had been hanging by a thread for years, polished the headlights and even got off a magnet that had become attached to the car. *Long post warning* I took my chevy to get detailed here based off the reviews and I was bamboozled! They charged me $250 to vacccum, wet my rugs with a deodorizer, armour my dash and seats, and wash the outside. Upon inspecting my truck I told them how unsatisfied I was and pointed out all the areas that was missed, like pulling down the cup holders in the back and cleaning them, the stains above the visor was still there and he had the nerve to say they couldn't come out. They were trying to clean the areas of complaint as I complained. I told them I can leave it and come back. They told me they did all they could do for me, which displays their unprofessionalism and lack of concern for an unsatisfied and unhappy customer. I expected my rugs to be shampooed, seats cleaned and conditioned not just armoured, engine cleaned in which he stated would be done, but it didn't look like it was cleaned, overall it was a poor job. I refused to pay the full $250, they took off $50 after going back in forth for aboout 10 minutes which is BS because $50 off was not enough. They are waaaaay over priced for the quality or should I say lack there of quality they provide. Don't waste your money and time here, its equivalent going to a drive thru car wash and getting the quick wipe down and vacccum deal. read more

These guys did an AMAZING job on our car. I've never had my car detailed before and didn't really know what I was doing. Michelle was super nice, explained their options, and was upfront about the price. For outside and inside cleaning, they start at $200 and depending on the intensity of the work required might go up. I understood this type of thing was kind of expensive so I had a feeling it was going to be around that price range. Our car's previous own left the windows open outside in the burbs all the time and so there was a thin layer of grime that covered the whole thing. When we picked up the car up, it looked like it was a rental right off the lot. It was immaculate. It was completely worth the money, and they were SUPER nice. I hope I can keep the car in decent enough shape to not need a professional detailing, but if I ever do, I'm going straight back to them. read more

Jo Jo's did much more than an interior and exterior detailing; they touched up all the city-borne scratches virtually making them disappear, made my leather seats look new including removing the ink stain on my cream leather seat, scoured my engine until it shined, and I keep finding other improvements that they didn't point out to me or that I didn't notice initially. I initially thought their estimate of $250 was a bit on the high side (it's an SUV), but after seeing the improvements that they made, that price is quite a bargain. Brought my 2003 Jetta in last week for an interior and exterior cleaning. The inside had YEARS of dog hair and also, well, a pee pee smell - but hats a different story. Man, this car was SO clean it was ridiculous. Not ONE piece of dog hair was left. It literally looked as close to brand new as you could get it. Great job guys! If you are selling your car, I would take it here first. After they're done with it, you'll probably get another $1,000 for your car than you would have had you not gotten it detailed here. read more

Oh man, where to start? I bought a wine bottle full of nice olive oil in Pittsburgh, and the cork worked its way out of the bottle in the trunk on the way home. Fast forward one year or so and you have one stanky-ass car. My car looked like a five-year-old lived in it anyway, and it had never been properly cleaned in its 145,000 miles, so it was time to give it the royal treatment (also, my wife refused to ride in the car for long distances because of the aforementioned rancid oil stench). Everyone seemed to like Jo Jo's on Yelp, and it was pretty close to where I lived (only a mile from Graduate Hospital), so I went down. I called ahead for a time to get it checked out, since I knew I didn't have the time that day to get it cleaned. I brought it down and he looked at it and gave me a price ($160 for full detail, including shampooing everything and getting the oil out of the trunk floorboards). I was a little wary about dropping my car off and walking back home, but Jo Jo and his wife (very, very nice folks) offered to drop me off back home and then drop my car off when it was done. Seriously? Seriously. When they dropped my car off, I had to scan the street for a while to find where they were. It turns out that my car is a shiny almost-black, not the vaguely matte gray I'd gotten used to. Everything it was physically possible to remove had been removed. The gross skin oils in the fabric armrest were removed. Even most of the scratches from a side-swipe a few months ago mostly disappeared. And, of course, the olive oil smell was gone. And they dropped me off and dropped the car off, too, as promised! So yeah, I'll be back. My wife's car had an unfortunate run-in (really more of a sit-under) with a very... enthusiastic tree in our neighborhood, and nothing has gotten the sap off yet. If Jo Jo can't, I don't think anyone can. read more

I can't really write anything on here that already hasn't been written. My wife and I moved into the city about two years ago, and our car has been pretty neglected ever since. Our worst offense came when we parked our car under an overpass, and a rain storm came and pushed a good amount of oil and grudge onto the hood, windshield, and headlights of our car. We'd tried a few drive-thru car washes to get it off, but it was still noticeably there. This past week, we finally decided to bite the bullet and pay for someone to clean up the car the way it deserved to be cleaned. We picked Jo Jo's based on the Yelp! reviews, and we were not disappointed. The customer service was incredibly courteous and professional. I had no problem making an appointment that was convenient for me. We dropped off the car late in the morning, and they said we could probably have it between 6 and 7pm. Sure enough, at 5:45pm, they called and said they were putting the finishing touches on it. When we picked it up, both my wife and I thought our car was a different (and newer) car from a distance. It wasn't until we were closer that we realized we were gawking at our own dressed up 6-year-old Altima. The grudge was gone, the headlights were clear, and the inside, ohhhhh the inside. I felt bad even getting into the car to drive it home because I didn't want to ruin how squeaky clean it all was. I could go on, but by this point in the review, I should have already convinced you to call Jo Jo's. You will not recognize your car when you get it back. read more
