With Black Friday basically starting early, one would think all the stores would be gearing up for crowds. Not so at Joann's in Bellevue. One cashier for a steadily increasing line-- eight of us right now. If you've ever shopped here, you know that most transactions are time consuming. There was one person cutting fabric in the back, so also a line. That being said, the store is all decked out with Christmas and holiday stuff galore. So even though there's a lonngg line, crafters of all kinds will be able to find what they are looking for. Hopefully I won't need to go back there for a while. read more

I looked online to see if the Bellevue Nebraska store had the 12 skeins of yarn available in the 3 colors I needed. The online site showed they were available, however when I arrived at the store there were none. I asked a couple of sales women and a manager if they could locate assist me in locating them and I was told they were in the back storage, but they were unable to go through all the boxes to locate them. I asked what would happen if I would have ordered them online to pick up in the store and their response was that they would have cancelled the order when I showed up to pick it up. Not ok and very inefficient, lackadaisical customer service. Hire more employees JoAnn. I will be purchasing the bulk of my yarn and other craft things elsewhere. I'm surprised Joann's brick and mortar stores are still open. JoAnn's in store selections are lacking. Issues with customer service and online ordering has major issues. In the past I have placed an order online my bank approved the charge, buy on JoAnn's side the transaction did not complete. I called the 800m number they were unable to assist. Their only comment was to tell me to wait 10 or so days and the transaction would drop out of my bank account hold status and my funds would be released. Online orders are always canceled even when it shows as in stock online. And after it's canceled, the items still show as available online. The store is run down. Bathroom is gross. I've been to many Joann's across the country, and this one is definitely the worst. I'll just drive to Omaha or CB. read more

I have to say this location certainly lacks luster. Very hard to find things and not a very large selection, but for what I could find the items were nice and worked perfect for my grandkids art scrapbook we made. read more

The manager at 132 and Center in Omaha, NE could not be ruder. No customer service there and she is unwilling to solve problems. I bought a new sewing machine and the hand wheel would not work. She said she had sold many of them and there were no issues (like I broke it or something) Then she tried to charge me a "re-stocking fee". I told her No Way...it is a brand new machine with a defect and she could not sell it to anyone anyway. She said it clearly states that on the web site. Well, I did not go to the website to purchase it ....I came to the STORE. Then she said she would replace it with another machine but refused to open the box to see if the hand wheel worked. I told her to keep her machine and walked out. This manager needs therapy for her rotten attitude and rude customer interaction. I would love to see that store close. So, to solve my problem, I went to the JoANN in Bellevue and sought out the Manager there. He is the definition of Customer Service. I told him what happened....he found the machine and opened the box and we determined the hand wheel worked, so I bought it and have been very pleased. This store is everything that 132 is NOT including CLEAN. 132 is filthy and they do not even have the correct pricing on their machines. Please FIRE the unhappy, irritable and rude manager at 132. This location of Joann Fabrics always seems to be a little run-down and understaffed. Lucky for me, I was just dropping in to pick up an online order, so I didn't need to track someone down to help me find anything. read more

Staff was friendly enough. They've been trained weird, though..Even of you're the only one at the cutting counter, they make you take a number. Huh? Then two people had to work on my burlap cuz it's difficult. The weave wanders, I explained. No, they both insisted on picking a thread out & pulling it to make a straight line. Not only does this take forever, but, as I said repeatedly, you'll never get a straight line. And the fabric's folded. You don't need to pull a thread out on both sides of the fold. Weird. They should ignore their training & use their brain. But it's in Bellevue. They think taking orders is everything. They did give me a coupon code. That was nice. And anything is better than hancock. read more

While I'm still here, I can freshly give my thoughts. This location once belonged to Michael craft store. The set up is quite different , the fabric area is the largest I've seen compared to other craft stores, you would think they'd give sewing classes, but they don't , here they have a selection of seeing machines. Overall their selection of items is limited. They carry only one quality brands of oil paints & 1 of acrylics The aisles are narrow and I find it hard to find things. Maybe if the areas had better signage, it would help. I also noticed their classroom is either gone or very small space if it's used. I wasn't impressed, but it serves it's purpose for other people who need a craft store in the area read more

Folks...I spend a considerable amount of money in your store but sweet mother of god, please speed up your checkout process. I cannot remember a time I've visited this location in the last year that didn't result in a soul crushing wait. I was issued two refunds for corporate refund checks on January 10, 2021 to be sent to me. I had been in communication with the Store manager and Asst. Store manager who actually assisted me with three previous returns (signing them) on my recently deceased mothers un-used new material as l etc. Each received a corporate check for dates of January 3, 2021 & December 20, 2020 & and a cash refund of $ 120.00 on December 18, 2020. All without receipts but luckily still in the original packaging,mfg boxes, and Joann bags.   My January 10th refunds never arrived so I reached out to returns customer service for status. I was than told to pick up the fabric or take a store credit???? A day later I received a email from customer service asking for detailed information on my return, email,  original dates of purchase,  which I quickly replied with and asked why they are asking for all this additional information....No one could tell me why???? The store manager said the store policy was changed, inwhich I was bring penalized for their policy change after my transactions were done? Basically I was being called a thief and they were trying to imply that 3 bolts of unbleached muslin were stolen??? Funny how when I returned it the sales associate was able to scan the bolts and the bolts were identified in the Joanne SKU files in their computer system????Absurd!!!! I was given the choice to pick up the bolts of muslin or a useless store credit.  I than took the store credit as they threatened that if I did not come in soon I would be forced to forfeit my merchandise/store credit! What a way to treat someone who's late mother taught all the quilting,  cake decorating,  needlework adult education classes in Bellevue,Ne.  My late mother bought all her needs at this Joann store in Bellevue,ne.  She also encouraged all her students to buy all their needs for class and leisure at this store. Pathetic way of biting the hand that keeps your sad little store open in Bellevue,Ne!! Talk about Bait & Switch on an honest customer!!! No wonder this store is so empty. I have/will notify all local contacts of this horrible experience with trying to defame my character without any grounds, basis, or reasonable explanation. I'm in Joann's at least weekly, making a normal Saturday run my purchase was about $100.00. As you entered the store they had a very nice informative display about classes they where offering. The clerk at the display was very helpful explaining the details about the class I was interested in taking and that I would register and pay for the class when I checked out...Not a problem. The problem came at the check out the clerk said I would need to do my transactions separately...ok I could understand that...When my yarn purchase was completed she pushed me off to a clerk who was registering another customer for a class. The issue was the clerk registering they other costumer was inexperienced and unsure of how to perform the task...taking way too long..not her fault she should have a manager or lead clerk walking her through the process..The main issue was being dismissed by the original clerk who was waiting on me and should have completed all my transactions prior to taking another customer.
