My dad's grill was falling apart, and I noticed at the right time to coincide with Father's Day. Luckily, Williams Lumber is around. I already know my dad likes this spot for lumber, and he's an Ace Hardware rewards guy (he's anti-Home Depot, and happy to tell you all about why), and they had the grill I was looking at in stock. Everything fell into place. I gave them a call, and Bryce helped me out. He confirmed they had the grill, and because it's not really a gift to give someone something heavy to pick up or complicated to assemble, we arranged to have the grill put together and delivered in just a couple days. They took care of everything without a hitch, including a nice grill cover and brush to keep this one in much better shape than the last. They also have hardware, and do a good job selling it.

I CAN order it from Rhinebeck Art Supply in New Paltz and I do but Catskill is closer and I'd gladly get it from there when I purchase other items. I used to live in NYC and shopped at New York Central Art Supply and it was a pleasure and a great place. For an art supply store not to be able to order certain items is inexcusable. If you need it and it exists they should be able to order it. Bad business practice. If you are reading this try the stuff it's amazing. New Paltz will have it in the store in a couple of weeks. I really like the layout of the store, with each department looking pretty tidy and kept up. For the most part, it's pretty easy to navigate the store where everything is, and also the staff does a great job of keeping it all organized. The aisles are wide enough which makes it easy to pass, leaving no frustration on my end. The store seems to be fully staffed in pretty much every aisle, and also most of the time, a greater at both of the entrances.

If you're do it yourselfer or a hobbyist; do you really need to buy a tool that you might only use once in a while, that costs a small fortune?! You also need a place to keep it. Think about that. The Sales people are also very helpful, and seem to know what they're selling. They can answer a question or two without getting a blank look on their face. That's reassuring. Sidebar: there's plenty of free parking right in front of the store. And if you need help getting something into the car, they'll give you a hand.

This was literally one of the worst customer service experiences I have EVER had. I would give…read morezero stars if I could. They told me it would take one month for my materials to arrive. After waiting a month and half, I called them only to be told that it would be an additional two and a half months. When I said I wouldn't have ordered knowing it would take that long, they basically shrugged. After waiting four months for my shower materials, no one called me to tell me that they had arrived. They then tried to deliver the supplies on the wrong day when I was out of town. I had to screenshot them a voicemail FROM THEM to prove that I had requested delivery for Thursday. Worst of all, we had ordered the particular materials because we needed an off-center drain on the shower pan. Yet the drain was centered. When I spoke to the manager, he tried to say that my contractor had signed off on the order (even though he hadn't checked to see how the order was placed yet). Then, he basically said I had no recourse even though the shower installation ended up requiring the drain being moved and hence was more expensive. When I got a little heated, he then hung up on me. I am following up to see if I can file a complaint with the BBB about being offered no recourse for not getting what I ordered.
