If I could give a zero I would. I use to love shopping at this location and would come here all the time. But I have noticed the last few times I have been here customer service is getting worse and worse. I went there today to get some fabric. When I went to the cutting table line there were about four customers ahead of me. The person at the cutting table looked up at me and said " the people in front of you will be helped and not me until after she takes her lunch". I then asked if there was someone else to work the table while she was on lunch. She very rudely replied "no". I said that's kind of ridiculous then she replied you can wait the thirty minutes. So I put my stuff back and left. I took this as them saying they don't want my business. The store manager should be ashamed with how the employees are treating customers. The store manager should also make sure that there are employees to cover each station while people are on break. That way it doesn't stop customers from being helped and buying things that they went there for. This all happened today 2/13/25 around 1 pm. This was the final straw for me not shopping there anymore. I will take my business to another Joann's. Or better yet one of their competitors read more

My go to store for fabric. I generally can find what I'm looking for and often stuff that I wasn't specifically after at the time. Their clearance area always has outstanding values. The staff is nice and helpful. Only bad thing I can say is I end up spending too much when I go in as I inevitably buy more than what I was after in the first place! read more

I've been patronizing this Joann's since it opened. I've endorsed their business when others spoke negatively about it, stating that my experience was still a positive one. Unfortunately, today my review has changed. I post in my Facebook groups when Joann's is having a pattern sale and anything else they're doing that worthy of sharing. Today is the first day of their Vogue and Butterick pattern sale. I went to get the patterns I had already looked at online and I discovered that the table and chairs that is used for customers to browse the pattern books was removed. There were no Vogue or Butterick pattern books to look at. They, too, were gone. There were no signs indicating there was a pattern sale either. Inquired of the employee (I believe she was in charge) about these things and she told me that they had received 6 months worth of inventory in error instead of 6 weeks worth and there was no place to put it so they removed the chairs and table. I asked where the pattern books were and she told me they were on the top of the pattern cabinet. She didn't know that there was a pattern sale, nor that there weren't any Vogue or Butterick pattern books out. Then she proceeds to tell me they got rid of the 22-23 books (I had no clue what she meant by that and when asked to explain, she was abrupt and said those are the prior years- oh ok...) My point is this visit was aggravating and unsatisfactory. I understand that they received excessive merchandise but I take issue with her irritable tone and manner. I suspect I wasn't the only one asking about the table and chairs and she was annoyed by that, but this was at 10:00 am in the morning. Unprofessional and unacceptable staff. I should mention that the cashier was the polar opposite and was warm and engaging. Some folks should not work with retail customers if they're not capable of moderating their emotions. read more

I come here when I need fabric or other materials most people find online. I prefer to go in and find it myself. I touch the materials, compare colors, to buy the right one. The pricing is always easy to figure out and the staff knows well how to answer my questions and other concerns when working with fabric. Also, there are so many tools that I've gotten from Joann's that would be more costly from elsewhere. This shop is irreplaceable to me. read more

The doors were locked when we got there at 5:50pm last night hoping to run in to grab a single package of marbles (which we told them). While craft stores often greet people with strong odors of seasonal scents and the slightly astringent burn to the eyes and lungs from dyes in fabrics, and this store is no exception, at least they've always had stuff I've needed. Combine that with the sometimes available coupons for 50-60% off in their app and watch the savings pile up! In the past I couldn't really think of anything I needed until I couldn't find my mini sewing kit to replace buttons and mend stuff. Add long lapse and flash to the past year and I forget how many visits since the girl behind the register tipped me off about the app. I like organizing things and their selection of boxes big and small are ideal to sort knickknacks and small boardgame pieces. Take a sizable percentage off and bingo! I also recently watched the gf go to town for a project that involved many trips, cuts of fabric and at least one return. On all occasions the staff here were friendly and patient (patient with me fiddling with stuff). read more

A big thank you to all the employees at this location for staying open during the Pandemic. The staff here has been providing excellent service even when the customers are rude to them. As an avid seamstress and frequent customer here I can honestly say this group is a class act. Joann.com is a waste of time accepting orders only to have them cancelled 2 weeks later. Finally decided to go to the store to get supplies (no not mask making supplies because suddenly everyone is a seamstress...NOT) I waited 2.5 hours to get in the store and made the most of my time dropped several hundred dollars on fabric for the rest of the year service was excellent!! Came outta town in hopes of finding some goodies to decorate my home for the holidays. Very limiting selection for the seasons surprisingly and it's only the beginning of December! The store is like any other Joanns in terms of products however this one felt different, I would say it felt less compared to others. The staff was very limited, I couldn't find anyone to assist me in looking for items. The store is not kept up nicely as well, there are things and trash on the floor. read more

The service was good, I had no issues while I was shopping, but I have a suspicion that this store may have a roach problem. After I brought my fabric home, I took all of the fabric to the laundry room and dumped it into the washing machine without checking it over because I didn't think there'd be a reason to. I washed it, then pulled it out and tossed it in the dryer and when I pulled it out again, a dead roach nymph fell into the lint trap from the cloth. I brushed it off thinking the roach was probably just living in the laundry room (it's a public laundry room and open to the outside) and I hadn't noticed it when I put the fabric inside the washing machine or dryer. However, the next day, I found a living roach nymph on the table next to the bag that I brought my fabric home in. Of course there's always a chance that my apartment is newly infested but I have never seen any roaches or any indication of roaches in my apartment until I brought that fabric home and the two roaches I saw were always in proximity to the fabric or the bag I brought the fabric home in. I can't confidently conclude that it was from the store but if you shop here I would advise you to check your fabric over before you bring it into your house, especially things like precut squares that are folded and would provide a perfect hiding space for roaches. If the store sees this, I highly recommend looking into this because a roach infestation in a fabric store sounds like an absolute nightmare. There are SO many potential hiding spots. read more

Went in on a Friday about 11:45ish. Super busy. Long line to check out etc. Found the ribbon I needed. Went to the city counter to get 2 yards. No one there. No bell. Left the counter to look for someone. Nope. I walk out of fabrics and see someone scanning something. Great. So I ask if she can cut some ribbon. "No I'm at the register, but the girl that works in that department will be back in 30 minutes. She just left on a break."Um I don't have 30 minutes. Can anyone assist me?" No. She's the only one at a register and they only have 1 fabric person. Go back to fabrics and tell the ELEVEN people they have a 30 minute wait. Most left. The store is trashed and unorganized. A young mom was there, 3 kids in tow picking up an online order. Shows the register girl her phone. She looks around for literally 3-4 minutes and can't find it. Tells her it's not ready. Mom says it IS ready. Shows her the phone that says YOUR ORDER IS READY FOR PICK UP. Register girl tell her again it's not ready. Mom leaves very angry. When this store ends up closing it's their own fault. Completely unacceptable. Wish I could give ZERO stores. The 1 is for the AC since it was 109°outside. read more

This location has bad customer service. It's like they're trained to keep you from using coupons. I visit here multiple times a week and I hardly ever have a great experience. Also when checking out they almost never scan my app so I can get points for all the money I spend and when I mention to them that they didn't scan my rewards it's like "oh well". Waited in line 45 mins or so, finally get in, look around trying to find what I need, I finally ask a sales associate only to be told they don't have the Happy Planner line yet. I needed a clerk to cut fabric. I walked the length of the store twice, looking for an employee. I considered leaving the store. I then approached two cashiers and asked them to call someone to the cutting table. One cashier said she was sorry but the check out line had gotten long. The store manager arrived at the cutting table. She immediately cut lace for a pair of women who had waited less time than I . The manager then motioned me to slide my fabric down to her instead of coming to the yardstick I waited at. She ignored the fact that a numbered ticket showed I was waiting before the other two women. The manager happened to come to the front and ring up my order. She spoke sharply when she asked for a phone number and told me a coupon didn't apply. She sounded insincere when she said have a good day. read more

Found exactly what she was looking for and an employee told us about coupons they had online, that she could use for her purchase. Hit or miss, depends. The employees seem to know very little about ongoing sales. Stopped iin thiis morning for a 1.99 pattern sale as advertised in their mailer. No sign was up at the pattern counter so I asked an employee for a current ad to check if I had the sale dates wrong. She told me the front counter would have the flyer. Nope. He was basically clueless. Another customer suggested I get a pattern scanned. Came up regular price. When I got home I checked the mailer and the advertised price was 1.99. Bottom line, take your ad mailer with you visiting this store! I've also had problems with ordering online with store pickup. One example.....ordered 5 yds and received one 3 yd cut plus one 2 yd cut. I doubt most of the employees even sew as they have absolutely no knowledge about fabric. read more

I have been to a lot of the Joanns locations in the inland empire ex: Redlands, Rialto, etc... and by a VERY wide gap this locations is the cleanest and most organized. The staff was friendly and helped me get extra discounts with coupons on the app although what I was buying was already 30% off. This is the location I will be going to from now on. read more

Very rude lady that worked the register yesterday that wasn't gonna let my mom use her military discount because she didn't have the "App". Since when did that start? She rudely said ok I'll let you use your Military ID this once but next time have the app. Please train your associates better to accommodate military. This was yesterday around noon. read more

Let me start by saying that I'm a life long lover of crafts & sewing. I've been sewing since I was a child and make my sons clothes and my own dresses. I frequent several Joann stores when I'm in the area. A couple weeks ago I went to this store a couple minutes before closing just to grab some fabric to finish up a project. Through whatever life circumstances, I wasn't able to return until this week. As i put away what i would keep i noticed a discrepancy in what i was given compared to what i was charged. Sunday I went to the Joann in Moreno Valley, but they would not let me return because i was over charged at a different store. So I returned what they would allow me to, and went on with life. This morning I decided it'd be a good day to return what I no longer had use for and also return fabric I was over charged for. The manager was quickly called. Though I wasn't explicitly accused, I was made to feel like I did (get accused of stealing). As if I would buy fabric only to return it and get money for it. I'm not a thief nor am I a dis honest person. In the last 3 months I have spent well over $500. Why i would steal a $7 piece of fabric is beyond me. I will be contacting corporate. The humiliation I felt is uncalled for. I will never shop here again and I'll be digging for whatever fabric I have from them and returning it. I have no desire to give my hard earned (single income) dollars to them. Pass on this fabric shop. read more
