This is definitely a mixed review I would've given five stars until my experience at the checkout line. The woman in the fabric section was fabulous and so helpful and kind. She help me find the fabrics I needed at a price I could afford. She also gave me other ideas to look for a swatch that I needed in the bandannas section. Unfortunately as I was checking out I was in the process of finalizing the payment and realized I had forgotten to give my Joannes card to swipe for my discount including my teacher discount. The young woman, cashier would not accept it. She said even if I tried to cancel my payment it was already rung up there was nothing she could do. Important to remember that is the first and last impressions that linger the longest. Might take me a while before I go back into Joannes fabric store. Back to Hobby lobby I guess. read more

Went online, found the planner I was looking for, website said 6 items in stock. My big mistake was not ordering online for pickup. I left my hotel and went over to the location. Planners are all OVER the store and the main display is so disorganized it is a wonder that anyone can find anything. I did not see my planner, so I went to the front to ask where it was. The young clerk behind the service desk got onto her communication system and an older woman came up to tell me that they don't have it. I said that the website said she had 6 in stock and she told me I am wrong, that they have to wait till "they send them to us" ... this old woman needs a year-long course in dealing with customers. She also needs to straighten up her store. There was nobody in the store that I could see but these two employees and myself, but the store looked like a tornado had gone through it. JoAnn could GIVE me the planner and I would not take it from this store. I will never darken the door of this store again. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

Big store, lot's of products. Good customer service staff. However the restrooms are filthy, and the floors throughout are dirty and with debris on the floor. As full time RV travelers we have been in many Jo Ann's stores in many states. Never seen another one this unkept. read more

I went into store today needing one item,after getting no help on the floor I finally found what I was looking for proceeded to the line to check out; one cashier 12 people in line to check out. The store was hot people in line complaining how hot it was, they were looking for water in the soda fridge and no water we were looking for items to cool ourselves with. The cashier called for back up and no one came to help. 15 min later a manager name Pam came up to help a customer with a return and Pam was not very friendly she was called. I have always loved the variety of things you can purchase at Joannes. But lately every time I go I am overcharged and if I don't look at my receipt I go home and I've been charge for things I haven't even brought home. things it said they were on sale. They charge me full price, please be careful if you frequent this Joannes today I was charged for something I didn't even get and I went in and she took the eight dollars off and never even apologized for her mistake. I don't think I'll be going back. I'll find another source for my crafting supplies or at least find a different Joannes. read more

I never realized how busy craft stores are until you get in line to pay! It doesn't look very busy in the store but once you get in line it takes a little while to get to the actual register. I had a very pleasant experience and the employees were super helpful in helping me pick up my online order! I also had questions about fabrics and they were very knowledgeable. They moved things around recently and it's a mess. "Fashion fabrics" are thrown together haphazardly and they have some on a third row. Only someone who's 6 feet tall could reasonably shop that top shelf. As usual the fashion fabrics are given a low priority. I would shop elsewhere if it was an option read more

This Jo-Ann Fabric location is quite large. They seem to carry items for a large variety of crafts and hobbies, but within each genre the selection is often not the best. They have basics of everything, but no further in some sections. A lot more in other sections, though. One area they have stocked quite nicely is the jewelry making supplies. They have lots of options there, and some interesting and sparkly stuff to boot. This is not my hobby of choice, but I'd shop here for sure if it were. Of course, their fabric selection is outstanding. They have tons of stuff. From kids themed fabrics to more elegant looking fabrics. They even have faux leather in various colors and textures. We found what we needed in no time and are very pleased with the look and the quality of the fabrics we purchased. They also had a lot of choices of adhesives, which was great when we were reupholstering our chairs. We found the type that we thought would work best for us (and it did) with the help of a very helpful and friendly employee. She also helped us figure out how much fabric we needed. Which was great because we came into the store totally clueless. She then cut and wrapped it for us, all while giving us tips and tricks on how to get the chairs done easier. She was super helpful and we definitely used some of her advice! Other employees have always been courteous and kind as well. Just be aware that most employees are at the fabric counter or the check out line, so if you need help those are the best places to head towards. No big deal. The store is clean and organized very well also. I won't be making Jo-Ann's my go-to craft store (I mostly paint and they don't carry the brands I use), but I'll definitely be going back. read more

My Kinder broughy it in from school happy mess) Like a stress inducing, I'll change the channel now episode of horders mess. there were boxes all over- everything was super unorganized and hard to figure out what was the price. other than the poor soul working the cash register with a 8 person deep line, I'm not sure anyone else worked there so I couldn't find help in locating what I needed- it really could have been anywhere... I've been getting my yarn and fabric here for three years now since I moved to Tucson from Las Vegas and they have the largest collection of the yarn I use which is Bernart blanket yarn. I've even seen colors here that I haven't been able to find online not to mention they always text me amazing coupons for 80% off or 90% off 50% off almost daily I love it! Almost everything I make for my Etsy store is bought from this Joann fabrics and when we move back to Las Vegas we will continue to shop at Joann's in Vegas. They have a wonderful selection and wonderful customer service and if I buy too much yarn for a project and don't have the receipt it doesn't matter how long I've had it for they will give me at least 50% of the sale price as store credit which is better than nothing otherwise I just get stuck with yarn I don't need. read more

I remember this place seemed really cool when I wasn't that big into crafts, but now that I am, I'm rather disappointed. I make a lot jewelry and sadly there's not a large section for the style I make which is very basic pendants on silver cable chain. I got spools of said chain here but after a few trips I realized they didn't stock it that much so I moved onto Amazon. Same thing happened with a pack of silver spring rings, which I now buy locally. But my biggest objective complaint with this place, because I understand not everyone makes jewelry like I do and as much as I do so it's pretty subjective, is how unorganized it is. All the employees are at the registers and no where else. I wanted to ask if they had extra spring rings in stock and I had to go through the line to ask because no one was wandering around. What's worse than that is that you have to wait in line for your online order. I had to wait behind 30 people just to pick up an online order of Cricut paper. This is frustrating because I often buy online and pick up in store because it's supposed to be a speedy alternative but I guess not. A great place for the experienced and the novice "arts & crafter"! It's got many of the same good products as the competitors, but without the crowded atmosphere. We were sad when the old store closed by our house on the Northwest side of Tucson. Now were very glad to have moved back to the eastside and have this location that's easy to access. Prices and item selections are average yet not as generous as the vendor across the street, where I've been shopping for years which also offer online coupons and recently this store also offers yet not as significant in the percentage discount. Check your laptop or mobile phone before you get to checkout to take advantage of these great coupons, they will scan the barcode at the register. They offer sewing classes at a reasonable rate, I haven't registered online yet but plan to, only $30 per person if you bring your own sewing machine and class is just a few hours. I was walking into the store on Broadway and a car was sitting with the driver in it motor running he was blocking the cross walk into the store forcing me to step over curbs and fall against his car. I went into the store and expressed my request for the person at customer service desk to go and ask the Parker to move and was curtly told to wait as their were paying customers in line. Very very poor customer care and empathy. Money is more important than customer safety. VERY VERY slow service today. read more

The floors were very dirty. The bathroom was disgusting dirty also. Nice store but needs a very good professional cleaning. With covid and everything else going on you definitely want to make sure you have your mask on. And gloves would not hurt either. This is a nice Jo-Ann store- it's nothing amazing, but it does offer a wide variety of craft supplies, fabric, a framing department, etc. I often get what seem to be awesome coupons in the mail "40% off!", but in the fine print it's for one full-price item and not on sale items. Then I go to the store and whaddya know, everything is on sale! So more often than not, I don't get to really use the coupon, but it did its job by luring me into the store. If you need fabric cut, avoid going on the weekends- the wait is horrendous and they have a "take a number" system but no real waiting area, so people needing fabric cut often wait at the end of the aisles by the cutting counter, making it difficult to browse. Overall, they do have a great selection of a ton of craft stuff. I just wish I could use the coupons they send me. read more

I almost have enough yarn to open my own yarn shop. But I had to get more. It was on sale & I had a get an extra 15% off from my Joann Phone app. The fabric area in every fabric store always seems to be an area of high anxiety. I try to stay away. I needed some fabric for the lining of a purse I crocheted so I picked up some precut quilting fabric. The precut squares are only $1.99 for 18X21 piece. I'm no geometry wiz kid but that's not a square. Anyways, it was fast and cheap. Also got some yarn for some future projects. And some New hooks that were less than $3 with bamboo handles. read more

I come here for quilting fabric when I'm on a budget and can't afford the "good stuff" that you'd pick up at a dedicated quilting shop. The quilt fabric is often on sale, so you can get decent fabric for $4-$5/yard, but the quality is lacking in comparison to the quilting shops. Be prepared for a long wait if you come in after work or on a weekend. The "take a number" system at the cutting counter can often have queues of a dozen people or more, and though they'll occasionally open an "express lane" for 3 cuts or less, you'll often find at least a half-hour wait, even for a single cut of fabric. Overall, the quilt shops have MUCH better quality and service, but if you can't afford $9-$10/yard and don't mind waiting, then Jo-Ann is passable. read more

This store is huge! i was so used to our jo-ann back in LA (louisiana not los angeles!) teeny tiny one. So when i first entered this place, my eyes bulged from all the things they have in this place. I love to sew and do different kind of crafts (hubby called it crap) and this place served me well when it comes to one stop place to get all my stuff. It's convenient to have a Jo-Anns so close to home, but when I need to go in for something, I try to find an odd time to go to avoid the looooong lines that always seem to form, both at the cutting tables & the front registers. With such a busy location, you'd think they would have a few more employees on hand during rush hour. That being said, the store has always been clean & very neat. I've never had a problem returning anything, either. I don't believe it's a superstore Jo-Anns, but they do have a wide range of items. A fair amount of baking items, a lot of season decorations & a very nice scrapbooking section among other normal sections. read more
