Amazing experience and we love the photos! Joanna was recommended by our wedding organizer. After going through a few choices, we decided to go with her because we like how she makes use of natural lighting therefore minimal processing to achieve a more natural look without over touching up. The photos turned out really well. She had some interesting angles and ideas which made our pre-wedding, reception and couple beach shoot not boring and cliche. Let me start off by saying, I'm not normally a big fan of getting my picture taken. But, man, Joanna did a fantastic job. She started the day off by taking pictures of my (now) wife getting ready in our hotel room. Then she went on to take some truly amazing pictures of the ceremony, which was outdoors in a grassy area. After the ceremony, my wife and I went to the beach at sunset and Joanna got some more excellent shots. Finally, we went up to have a nighttime dinner with our guests and Joanna kept shooting in the background. Throughout all this, we were in a wide variety of settings: indoor, outdoor in the day, down by the beach at sunset, and at a dark outside dinner. Joanna had no difficulty in any of those environments. She captured the mood perfectly, and I am so glad that we will have these pictures with us forever. I found Joanna through a co-worker's referral and I'm so glad I found her! We used Joanna to take our engagement photos while we were on vacation in Maui. The pictures came out wonderfully!
