WORST CAR DEALERSHIP. ITS A SCAM. They get you into a car then take it back after 4 days of being late because technically they have no "grace" period. I spoke with MIKE the sales "manager" and was completely turned off by his attitude and ego. He did not help with anything other than getting turned over into yet another auto loan. Was completely rude and told me I had to pay the entire loan of 26,082.03 to get my car back that I was late on a payment for 320. He does not need to be running a business thats for the people because he clearly is not. only thing he helped me with was screwing me over. Granted yes my son should have done his due diligence but was trying to do it on his own. His car note was over $600 a month. He was late 2 weeks due to an employment transition, the repo the car and sued him. I'm not excusing not paying but to sue a 23 yr old for over 23k . Is F'N ridiculous. Where do I begin? How about with the fact that they illegally repossessed my vehicle and have yet to release it back to me a week later?!?! Yes, that's right. I made my payment, had a job out of state and drove the vehicle there, vehicle is repossessed while I am on the job. However, I did go outside and object to the repossession showing the driver my receipts from my bank and Joe Cooper where I had made my payment. Even if I hadn't shown him the receipts, because I objected to the repossession in progress, he was legally required to drop the vehicle at that moment, but didn't and breached the peace in the process. So they repossessed my vehicle after having already taken the funds out of my account and also breached peace during the repo and added more for me to take them to court for. So my mom doesn't have a driver license because of her eyes problem but she wants to buy a car for my dad ( she still have state id and all other paperwork that required for a loan, her credit score was 780 at that time ). At first, they said it's OK as far as my dad will be on the application as a co-sign and the car insurance don't need to have my mom list as driver, which is cool because you know my mom doesn't have a driver license. After a year they started to charged extra $50 Every Single Payment Time for what they called CPI, as far as i know it's car insurance. The problem is my car already have a insurance and it has everything they require except my mom name has to be list as a driver which the insurance company can't do it because my mom doesn't have a driver license. I called and talked with them several times and they said they can't change it !!! they quiet when i asked if they already know my mom doesn't have driver license why they sold her a car and ask for a car insurance with her name on it after that. Once my husband made it home from purchasing the vehicle, I read over his contract & damn near passed out from reading how much they were charging my husband for a used 2013 vehicle!! Moving forward my husband's doesn't have title to register the vehicle as of today which is 5/23/21..I've constantly been given the runaround regarding the title ..well come to find out Oklahoma Motor Credit "Finace Company" NEVER had the title in their possession so I did some investigating after our insurance company requested documents that we didn't have....The last time the vehicle was registered was in Washington...The vehicle was listed for sale in January for $5,875 from www.auctioncarz.com which I'm assuming Joe Cooper Easy purchased the vehicle from the auction in February, sold it to my husband for $18,394 @ 13.95% finance rate meaning my husband will pay over $25,000 for 2013 Chevrolet Malibu...Joe Cooper Easy Credit shouldn't NEVER sold my husband the Vehicle. Legally they're not the owners...To my understanding Joe Cooper is waiting on the title from whomever they purchased it from & whomever sold Joe Cooper Easy Credit the vehicle is waiting for the title from whomever they purchased it from....This is some straight up bs!! The only great service they give is when you are signing for the car but don't give you any information until literally the last minute. Bless Mason for having the kindest heart but literally after you sign for the car everyone's but his demeanor changes. Not helpful at all only telling you to call someone else like who else can I call? Why can you not just redirect me to who I need to talk to? They don't know much about the vehicles they sell you. Slow af. They tell you what car they want you to get instead of you shopping around. Oh and don't tell you the prices of the car until the last minute. They irritated me so much. I got a car in April of 2020 from this company and when I got it I was happy ! No problems or anything then after about a month it would shut off by itself so I called joe Cooper . Wanted me to wait 2 weeks before I could even get it serviced then finally I did and they said there wasn't anything wrong with it . Gave it back . Had it for another week and it started happening again just this time I had to get it towed . My appointment wasn't for another 2 weeks but they got it fixed in a couple days . Just about 3 weeks ago I couldn't even turn on my car after having to unplug my battery everywhere I went i thought it had just gave up wanting to turn on. Igota call from them after they have had my car for over 2 weeks and tell me I need my whole engine rebuilt and I have to pay over 3,000$ down for them to do it plus make monthly payments for 750$ . Purchased a vehicle from dealership in march and they had to pick it up a week later. Service department attempted to repair it and I picked it up. Drove home and the car had the same issue as before only this time it was over heating. They picked it up again and tried again to repair it. They didn't fix the problem. So they picked it up for the 3rd time. Received a call from service department and was told that the engine was bad and that they would replace it with a new engine. They had the vehicle during the warranty phase of the car which was 3 months or 36,000.00 miles . They called me after the warranty ran out and said the car was done. I picked up the car and drove home only to have the check engine light come on . So I checked the vehicle for the problem and once again the engine had issues. During this time I was already frustrated. During the 3 months that they had my vehicle I did ask about getting another vehicle because the one I had, had to many problems. I was told by Kevin In the finance team that I couldn't get anything different. I had asked to speak to the owner about this issue and he called and left a message. I returned his call but he never answered. So I left several messages for him and never received a call back. Then I attempted to ask one last time for the dealership to replace the vehicle because it was a lemon and once again I was told by Kevin that I couldn't do that and the only option I had was to continue making my payments or they would repo the car. I only owed a payment for July and they did not want to comply with anything that I had requested. I am a disabled veteran that doesn't get a lot of money and they took advantage of my situation just to make a few bucks. read more

The worst place to buy a car from 6 days after buying my car. all kinda lights came over my dash. I called them back to complain about it they threaten to turn off my Vehicle due to no payment received. after they finally got it back to work on 5 days of another loaner vehicle not equal value to mines. half full of gas and said we want it back with the same amount of gas in it. never received any paperwork about work is done on it since then more lights about check engine. Came and went till my warranty ran out never fix anything else. I had 12 days of warranty left the first hot day arrived I call my air condition don't work they set up a maintenance date after the 12 days. And yes it's bad now they do not cover Air Condition work but to repair it cost $440 so my question is who checks air conditions in December before buying it. So now I have been waiting for the Manager to call me about this problem no one has called so Hopefully reading this Joe Cooper will call me. So I won't throw stuff at my television when they commercial come on. And yes still repairing whatever light comes on my dash. So they're gigantic sign that says $0.99 down is a lie, because not all cars are $0.99 down now. So I feel like my husband and I have held our tongues since we bought A 2012 Chevy Malibu from here and its time to let everyone know what is going on. We had bought a 2012 Chevy Malibu from the lot in Midwest city August 31, 2019. On September 1, 2019 the car wouldn't start. We bought a relay switch thinking maybe that was the problem it wasn't. We called them they came to pick it up said it was the fuel pump and they said they changed the switch as well even after telling them we just did. Well the service guy said that they had fixed it. We even asked if we could exchange it. They said no. About a week or so goes by and now it will only start sometimes. We called them again and they said we probably had bad gas or the switch is loose. We asked if we could just trade the car in for something else they said no even though we were still in our 2 weeks of driving it. On October 10, 2019 the car stopped running again. AGAIN we called and we towed it up there for the service guys to fix it. GUES WHAT!? It was the fuel pump AGAIN! So again we ask to just exchange it in for a different vehicle one that doesn't keep breaking down. Well once again they said No we couldn't. So they "fixed" it again and we take off and I'm still upset about the situation. On October 22, 2019 the car wont start! They actually came to pick it up this time and again it was the fuel pump...see the pattern? I'm livid trying not to cause a scene calling my husband who works out of town telling him that our two very young children and I are broke down because the car wont start. This time they decided to let us use a rental until ours is fixed but called us 3 days after using the rental to return it because someone else needed to use it. SO AGAIN WE ASKED FOR A TRADE OR EXCHANGE SINCE THE CAR HASNT RAN GREAT SINCE DAY 2! They told us no. Finally they have the car fixed or so we are praying. December 11, 2019 the car breaks down again.!!! WE have it towed up there and this time it was the fuel pump....After saying the same thing over and over again they most likely didn't even change it the first, second or third go around! SO AFTER TWO WEEKS they finally changed the fuel pump. It was running good until March 8, 2020. It again wont start. It hasn't started in two days we call them Joe cooper said to bring it in they will try to fix it. Our payments are set up every two weeks and they are so rude when even ask to extend the 2 week payment into a full payment the following two weeks. TODAY My car payment is due which isn't even a month behind today would of been the day we made the full payment ($503.00) my husband goes up there because the lady over the phone said to make the payment, pick up the car its running. Its been running apparently and no one in the service department bothered to tell us. He gets there and they had TOWED my car to the auction to be sold with all of our belongings in it and said we cant get it until Monday. SO someone please tell me what I have to do to get good service from these people!? This has gone on for months and yet again we are without a vehicle. When calling and asking about all the work that has been done to the car the service people tell me they can not email me anything about it they will not write anything about. I'm modifying my review only because I was forced into giving them a 5 star rating while sitting in the dealers office with the promise of a gas card (By which I never received FYI). Nothing but a junk dealership. My initial thought of going here was because of the Joe Cooper name, actually thought it was a decent dealer. Boy was I wrong. Car has broken down the first week I had it, spent several hundred dollars on ignition issues, probably due to their GPS tracker but who knows. YES they do have GPS trackers and no they don't tell you about them until you sign the paperwork, I wouldn't have bought the car and walked out had I originally known. 2nd, I asked them to inspect the tires, I knew something didn't look right and they included it on the We Owe You sheet. As expected I had a blow out in West Texas over 200 miles from the dealership and had to buy 4 new tires. All the tires were from different manufacturers with different wear patterns almost like they went out to a junk yard and found tires to put on it. Left over 4 messages with their service department, no return calls. I finally spoke with their Sales Manager who flat out told me there was nothing he could do for me on the tires, that I should have put the donut on and driven it the 200 miles for them to inspect. Yeah that wasn't going to happen, I travel for work and I'm only in the metro once or twice a month. After pulling a carfax report I'm horrified with over 18 issues reported on this total piece of crap I just got suckered into. Keep in mind too if you do not have any other option or you have a special situation they will treat you like a 3rd class citizen throughout the entire process and even afterwards. I was short on a paycheck and called to make an arrangement for 1 week and was told that i had to make the full payment by the due date or my car is subject to get turned off. I bought my car in 2014 from them. I paid 99 cents down. I was a very easy process to get approved. Even though the vehicles are a little overpriced and the interest rates are atrocious it is a very good place for anyone with credit issues. That being said...I recommend Easy Credit Auto to all of my friends and family due to the fact that they take care of their customers and the vehicle they sell. I have never had a dealership as dedicated to helping the customers keep the vehicle in good working order like they do. Mike in the shop is always so helpful. They have done oil changes, breaks, minor engine repairs, new tires, ect for little to no cost to me. They are terrific! read more
