Truly the worst of the worst. I recently took my car here after a minor accident and was thoroughly disappointed with their service. The communication was lackluster, and I was left in the dark about the progress of my vehicle for days. When I finally received my car, the paint job was mismatched, and there were visible scratches that weren't there before. Moreover, they failed to provide an accurate estimate, resulting in unexpected costs. I would advise others to seek alternative repair shops for a better experience. read more

My car was rear-ended in downtown Athens. We drove it home from the accident with no problem. We drove it to Joe Hudson's Collision Center with no problem. The initial assessment was $6000 in damage and would take three weeks to fix. Then, I was told that it was $14,000 in damage and seven weeks to fix. Then about five weeks into that, I was told that the car was completely totaled out (a 2023 Honda Civic, barely a year old). I still continued getting text messages saying my repairs would be done on time. The day after my insurance company told me the car was to be totaled, my car was given to the insurance auction people and taken away without my signature or knowledge. I was not given the opportunity to remove my items from the car (I was out of town when I got the call from the insurance company). The collision center said it was my problem because my insurance company had signed off on it already, but my insurance company assured me that was not the case. I found the whole situation to be shady and bizarre at best. read more

Alright, so this was officially my first door ding... Have I mentioned that I hate parking gates? After being initially shocked by the estimates I received, Patton Brothers gave me a fair estimate and explained to me the entire process from start to finish. This made me realize how much work was going to be done, but also reassured me that they knew what was needed. I dropped my vehicle off on a Tuesday and had it back on the road Friday afternoon. During the repair process, Patton Bros. even posted photos of my truck on a secure website, so I could go see how my baby was doing!! Chris Beusse provided excellent customer service and follow-through, even answering questions after the transaction was completed. It's been 10 days since I got my vehicle back, and I am loving it... Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Patton Brothers for repairing your little oopsies. read more

Absolutely the WORST experience! My son had a very minor accident where he rear ended another car. Minimal damage to the other car and no damage to my sons car. We had 3 estimates of $732, $1100 and $1400. Patton brothers was the lowest estimate so the car was taken there for repair. After 1 day, the "estimate" was changed to $3860!!! Seriously? I understand that an estimate can change once the damage is further assessed but not acceptable for it to increase by more than 5x. It was a classic bait and switch because they knew we were paying out of pocket. read more

Do not use this vendor. I had hail damage and I went back 3 times to try to get my car fixed right. Even then they did not and after discussing with the owner he could care less and told me to take my businesses elsewhere. First time they cracked my paint and gave my car back without fixing. Second time they tried to convince me to not paint my 3 month old brand new car and I said no. They painted the rail and hood. The rail looked horrible, didn't seal off the door properly and the clear coat was dried dripping down. The hood had a yellow tint and they nicked paint on the a new paint job and tried to touch it up. They fixed the rail and looked good but not the hood. After them having my car for 3 weeks and still not fixing properly glad I worked with my insurance to go somewhere else. So I got my deductible back and did. Went to Elders in Watkinsville and they did a great job. Patton Brothers never once was sorry or apologized, it was like I was an inconvenience because I wanted my new car to look new again. Save yourself the hassle and go to Elders. read more

Every body was super nice. They did a terrific job repairing my Lexus. They kept me informed about every other day about the status of my vehicle. Very nice place and great people. If I ever need any more work done on any of my cars, I'll be taking them here. read more

Don't think about using this vendor if you have a "classic" vehicle such as a 10 year old truck. They will not work on the vehicle if it isn't from a specific insurance company. I guess I will have to find a mom and pop place that needs the money. :( read more

I have nothing but rave reviews for Patton Borthers. They did a great job on repairing our Windstar 5 or 6 years ago when it got sideswipped and we just recently went back to them a second time when the van was rear-ended. The vehicle was completely driveable and only had damage to the rear liftgate assembly. The insurance company (not ours but the other drivers) wanted to total the van when the costs of the repair came close to their write-off number. This van has been kept in pime shape (except for mileage and age) with all services performed by the book by our Ford dealer and was in excellent condition (both body and mechanically) prior to the accident. We really owe George and the crew for finding a way to work between us and the insurance company so that the repairs could be done. Once the repairs were authorized the crew did a splendid job of returning the van back to nearly mint condition. Thanks George and Patton Brothers for excellent service once again!!! read more
