The paint is coming off in two places and it has barely been a year. I am very dissatisfied, the company should treat an insurance repair the same as if I was paying out of pocket. Now I will have to take my car to another paint and body shop to get there horrible paint job repairs. I can't even wash my car, more paint comes off when I do.

They took a look at it and got back to me to notify me that it did not appear to be a transmission issue, but an electrical one. I'm located two hours south in Port St. Lucie, Florida and trying to get her sorted from that far away was proving to be challenging. The car was not drivable and they were able to wrangle getting it down to a more general-purpose garage for me to get the repairs done and were completely lovely people all the while, even offering me the use of their location to perform the repairs myself if I wanted to drive up and take a stab at it. Do not hesitate to bring your vehicle in to these folks. There are still honest shops out there, and truly these are the people you are hoping to find. They went out of their way. Brought my car in 3/10 it was hot outside my air blowing cold. Never had any problems with my A/C…read more But my car was not running properly when I took it in, so had them check it. My mechanic had already checked it in the ABS was not communicating with car. He told me it had to be programmed by Subaru so I should take it to them. So I took it to the dealership to have them look at my car and they told me it was my VDC which controls the ABS. They did not find anything else wrong with the vehicle or make me aware of anything else wrong with the vehicle. Part was on back order so I could not pick up the card March 26 upon picking up the vehicle before I even left dealership could feel the air was not blowing cold. I also noticed a hesitation when I was driving it. Came back to the dealership had service advisor drive the car he told me he drove fine. Told me that they'd have them look at the Ac. McKenna came out and told me I was low on Freon. Never mention anything else wrong with the air conditioning, even though air conditioning was working perfectly fine when I got there. Charge me almost $4000 to replace my VDC. Had to bring her back in because AC was not working properly and was still hesitating when accelerating between 40 and 45. They now give me an estimate of $1500 to fix my AC but that didn't include compressor that was another $1900 and then over $9000 for my transmission. I would've never spent the $4000 on the BDC had I've been made aware of the other things wrong with my vehicle even when I picked it up when they said I was low on Freon never mentioned anything about my air condition leaking. I have done numerous research on the Internet and found out that a lot of times when they replacing the VDC component, they can damage the compressor O-rings in the air conditioning. Subaru is refusing to take any responsibility. It seems very suspicious that all of a sudden AC and my transmission now needs replaced. After two phone calls and two visits to the office, I got a little upset. How dare I get upset at them, the promise breakers, so Randy cursed me out (f bomb this and f bomb that). I threatened to sue to get my property back and Randy shouted that he's beaten better people than me in court which suggests that if I sued him, it wouldn't be the first time someone has hauled him to court. Then he insisted I pay cash so I couldn't "come back on him" - I suppose so I could not contest payment. Not sure why he's worried about that - unless he's worried about it peeling in a few weeks. I will NEVER do business here again. A most unpleasant experience all the way around.

I definitely didn't want to have this work done by the dealership after experiencing lengthy delays and weeks in the shop for the simplest repairs and service. My insurance company Progressive provided me with a quick response and evaluation and left it up to me to find the Body Shop of my choosing. After doing some research and making an appointment with Todd's Auto Body and after meeting Todd and Shelly I knew these guys were definitely the ones for the job. They are also RVer's so they understood I didn't want to leave my RV away from my home any longer than absolutely necessary. They ordered all the parts required to complete the work and met with the insurance adjuster prior to requesting I bring our MotorCoach to their shop for repairs- once everything was in place the work was completed in only a few days which is exactly what I was looking for.
