I will start by saying the people are nice. They are enjoyable to deal with but I have to be honest with my review. When it came to their customer service in fixing my car, it was horrible. When I came in to get a quote for a small hole in my front bumper, they quoted me $1,500. Once I got insurance involved, it went up to ~$4,000 (if I remember correctly). They told me to drop it off over the weekend and my car would be ready by Wednesday. When Wednesday came, they told me they found another issue so it would take another week to get fixed. Another week went by, they called and told us to come pick up the car. My fiance took off work early to go pick up the car and when we got there, THAT'S when they told us the car was not ready and they found another issue. So we had to go back home empty handed again. Another week later, we went back to pick it up, took it home and then realized there was a weird noise coming from the car that wasnt there before. They told us it was probably the air conditioner and we could come back and they would fix it in an hour/hour and a half. I took it back and sat in the lobby for an hour and 45 mins with my 2 small kids before they told me they messed up and pushed the wrong button so they needed to call someone else to come in and fix it. This would take ANOTHER 30 mins after I had already been there close to 2 hours. I came in at 10:15a and didnt leave until close to 1pm. Throughout this entire process, they greatly lacked in communication with us and themselves. We would call and it would be hard to find out the status of our car because the status was not communicated with everyone so only one person knew what was going on and they may be at lunch or in a meeting. I was satisfied with my repair and service. My service manager was very responsive and communicative. Even with the pandemic delay of parts delivery taking weeks. My vehicle repair was done well. My one criticism is that the shop persons and mechanics/painters etc. could clean up their dust prints from inside your vehicle. They do give you a simple wash though. I was very thankful. read more

Told my insurance that my car was hit on 2 different occasions and my insurance company actually believed them until I showed them video footage of my accident. I am taking this all the way up so that my insurance company can not use them as their preferred body shop . When a business has so much business through necessity that they forget customer service. Customer beware, The Joe Hudson location in Inverness has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The receptionist is demeaning, hateful, unprofessional and is a poor reflection of the company. If I could make a recommendation stay away from this company. Take your business anywhere but here. I hope that they can realize that they need local customers and try harder with the next customer to make sure that they feel they are being handled with professionalism. I got in an accident on a Wednesday and since I was in a rush for time I let my insurance company arrange everything. MAB was in network and less than 8 miles from my house so I chose them. I worked with Renee and she was awesome and my car was ready within 4 business days even though I was told 7 initially. My car came back sparkling clean and looked brand new! If I could redo the entire situation I wouldn't had taken my car here. But initially took the car there for some side body repair work due and also requested my side mirror be fixed. Well the did the side body work and when I asked about if the mirror was fixed they forgot about doing that work. Also, when drying the paint of the car because they place it in this heated room it may also dry some of your inside trim, which dries up the glue. The guy said he'll fix it just bring it back later in the week. When I brought the car back to him he got an attitude about having to do the work. Also ripped off the inside trim to re-glue it back on. I complained to him about it them the guy got load and said its not his responsibility to resolve it. I won't ever bring my car nor refer anyone to these jerks. Take your car some where else. read more

Once the receptionist heard I wasn't an insurance case, they wouldn't talk to me. I was already present, and only wanted a quote for a small, out of pocket repair. At least two other places gave me quotes for what I needed right over the phone, and the calls didn't last 5 minutes. David D. Marlboro Auto Body did a great job repairing my wife's minivan after I had damaged it hitting a deer in West Virginia. Thought the car would be totalled but fortunately it did not happened. The car's front looks great, the work was excellent and the cost was spot on with the estimate from our insurer. Took my car for a estimate and after waiting for an extended period after my appointment time Art finally came to out to give me an estimate. Now he initially start pulling at my front bumper which I asked for him not to do because he was making the damage worst. When I asked for the estimate he told me that he wouldn't be able to give me an estimate until after he removed the front bumper, which was ridiculous. Art then threw out a estimate of $1,500. I've used this company for over 10 years. I am always pleased with their services. Mike and Everette are the best. They both make sure that your vehicle leaves in excellent condition. You want a holy terror, you got one in Julian. This guy Julian thinks having an accident is some kind of a joke. He will berate you with repeated jabs to get a claim number. He will charge you storage fees for your car after one day, even if your adjuster arrives in 2 days. Even with legitimate insurance, Julian will treat it like a fraud and a joke. So long as Julian remains at this place, I'd avoid it like the plague. read more

This bodyshop is the worst of worst. Ive been going to them since 2011 for all my repair needs because of the excellent work they have done in the past on a few of my cars. But I guess its true keep the past in the past. Fast Forward 6 years later they have had several management changes and tech changes, but that was all for the worse. The people there are rude and disrespectful. Long story short I had my car repaired there for two different claims. The repairs were not properly done and when I explained that something was wrong, they had the nerve to say my car looks like its been in a few accidents thats why the repairs aren't perfect. HOW?? my car is BRAND SPANKING NEW. It was so bad that another bodyshop at to redo the mess they made. From Mike Palucci (bodyshop manager), to Jennifer (handles Geico Claims), to even the woman that answers the damn phone. I took my car here to get my side door painted and my husband received a phone call from a guy telling us that it would be an additional forty dollars because they didn't realize they needed to paint the door handle. Are you serious? How do you not know you would need to paint the door handle of my car when you have to paint and fix the side panel. Thats obviously part of the side which was included in the estimate THEY gave us.To me, it was a way to get extra money out of us for nothing. I would never give this place any business. Told me they would call when they got the replacement in. I am still waiting to hear from them. It's been a week now. Blinker is not working properly either so I can't drive the car. I took my Passat here after a large buck decided to cozy up with the side of my car on an evening drive home from work. He trotted off just fine, but the driver's side of my car was not ok. There's not a lot of choice around Upper Marlboro, and my insurance company recommended Marlboro Auto Body and explained they were the local place on their preferred vendor list. I got the car back about 2 weeks later with ~$3500 of work done, and before leaving the parking lot had to have them take it back in the garage to clear the MIL light and hunt for a light bulb that the car claimed was burned out (these 2 issues were not present when the car was dropped off). They gave me the car back, explained they couldn't figure out which bulb the car was complaining about, and I drove off figuring I'd find it later. I realized quite soon that the driver's side doors didn't shut right, and there was too much wind noise coming in through these 2 doors they replaced. I found bubbles on the paint right above the wheel well on the fender. Discovered that the license plate light was out (and I knew they had loosened up the bumper during the painting process). I took the car back AGAIN and asked them to resolve these issues. They had the technician adjust the doors. I asked my contact man in the front of the shop if he had tried the doors himself anytime during this process. "No, but my technician assured me they are right this time." Well, they are slightly better, but still not right. If you close the door sort of forcefully, you hear the window glass rattle inside, and the rear door creaks badly when you close it. There's still more wind noise coming in the left side doors when compared with the other side that remains factory original. The bubbles under the paint turned out to be rust coming through from the wheel well -- why didn't they tell me about this before they painted it and ask me if I wanted to fix it, and bill me a few extra bucks for the additional labor? Now I'll have to live with it forever as they refused to do anything about it now, claiming that I was lucky because they fixed the exact same problem on the quarter panel in the rear but that was covered by the insurance -- I don't know if that makes me feel better or worse... If you are still reading this, the bottom line is find someone else to take your car to. This place is a factory churning out repairs with poor quality control and a management style that is not customer centered, but instead focused solely on getting their check from the insurance company. read more
