This cute little coffee shop Cafe is about a fourth of a mile down the road from West Orient middle school. The driveway is a bit hidden and not a lot of advertising, so even though it's on the main road here, it can be a bit tricky to find. To my delight, they had a $1.50 quiche specials. (I added a picture). They warmed it, and even threw in a salad for the price. That is amazing! Their chai was full of robust warm spice and nutmeg. It even came with delightful little frosted animal crackers, which was an added treat. Staff were super sweet and very happy. Smiles all around. After a long work day this was a pleasant surprise. Free WiFi and a cute little gift area nook too. I will definitely pop back here if I am ever again in the area. Very cozy and mod. Thumbs up and joy. read more

Beautiful views, comfortable seating and tables, full menu of sandwiches and treats. Coffee is top shelf but not expensive. If you want they will put your latte in a mug. People are friendly and quick. I've also bought a number of gifts there. Cute stuff. The drive thru is reliably fast. read more

This is a neighborhood shop but worth a stop if you are ever on the east side. People who work there are absolutely awesome, and consistently so. Tends to be quite busy mid afternoon, lunch time. Can't say enough good things about this store read more

Drive thru and esthetic saved y'all from a 3 star review!!! I finally came in after they shut down my neighborhood Hogan location. The OG baristas at that location will be missed, this location could really use a refresher course in FRIENDLY customer service. The esthetic and decor is the only thing welcoming about this location It's BEAUTIFUL and cozy inside. However, having tags hanging off every sign on the wall is SUPER tacky. They have checkers and books for kiddos. There's a bathroom here and a little area of merch to buy. The prices are still atrocious and I wouldn't be surprised if this location had to close too because who the he'll cab afford a $9 sandwich and a $6 coffee?!?!? They DO have a drive thru, full menu in perfect view. Cute little bell like old timey gas stations and stop n go markets. I should have asked if I can get a gallon of milk and carton of eggs too! read more

Drive through service yeah! This is an awesome coffee shop. Make sure to pull in at the paved entrance not the gravel entrance. We had a relaxing morning here and stayed for lunch too. Turkey/bacon sandwich with Swiss, lettuce, spinach, tomato, guacamole on ww bread. Very good! read more

Really loved my drink and the atmosphere of this place. Same homey feel as other location but even cuter! Plus this one is slightly closer to my house which is an added bonus. Disappointed and reason for only 2 stars is the barista working there.. pretty rude. I will try going here once more and see if I get better service, if not then I guess I will keep going all the way to stark. I love the ladies there! read more

I have literally never left a bad review before anywhere but I was extremely disappointed with this locations customer service. I ordered a sandwich, chips and lemonade on Grubhub. They didn't put any of the meats, or cheeses on the sandwich AND they forgot my chips. Not sure how that happens but I was able to get a partial refund from Grubhub. I called Silk to let them know the mistakes they made. No I was not rude because it's not the end of the world, but I at least expected a simple apology or something. Instead the girl was unapologetically rude over the phone, had a terrible attitude and that upset me more than them missing half my order. I'd rather support literally any other coffee shop than come back here. read more

Hands down the best flat white I've ever had! The drive-thru was quick, and the coffee was the perfect temperature (no waiting 30 minutes for boiling coffee to cool!). We only went through the drive-thru, so can't attest to the rest of the shop, but thumbs up to them there. Their sandwich options looked delicious; I'll update when I try them. read more

I love the new Silk location! The shop is spacious, the views of the country landscape are peaceful & so lovely. When I walked in I was so impressed by the decor! It's so homey, warm & inviting. I see that some of the pieces are on display for purchase by V23, so awesome! The employees are so friendly & helpful! Their menu, as usual, is delicious. My go-to is the breakfast frittata on a cheddar bagel. Great for those in a hurry, they've got a drive through! They have gluten free biscuits and gravy and they are really good! They also have a selection of gluten free desserts made at a few bakeries from around town. I got the strawberry white iced tea that they have on tap as well; it was really good! Great little restaurant with super cute farmhouse fresh decor. I would have given them 5 stars but the presentation was lacking and they should have given 2 biscuits but they only gave one with enough gravy for an army so the proportions were off. read more

This is our favorite coffee shop--drinks, food, and atmosphere are all too notch! The employees are also phenomenal and go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed. We were just in during a widespread power outage where they had a drive-through line 15 cars deep and they were still bright and cheery. Love this place and can't wait until I can work from there during the week again! Thanks for being such a great part of our community read more

The intent of the store is quaint and homey but at this point the execution is disappointing. Microwaved bacon, grocery store Oscar Meyer style lunch meat that's real slimy and wet and other cheap ingredients detract from the culinary experience. The dinning area is designed like a boutique home decorating store and creates confusion: do we clear our own tables when we're done eating or buy wall art with pithy messages? The staff were friendly and helpful and I suspect when they bring more food prep equipment in-house they'll be able to deliver a better meal. I'm sure their coffee tastes great and suspect that's more of their specialty than lunch. Had I ordered a coffee, I might have been compelled to give this place more stars. Maybe next time. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop, I wish there were more locations. Thankful this is close to my house. The roast on the beans is perfect. My fav drink is the caramel cream. Love the breakfast sandwiches! Cute cute stuff decorating the shop that you can also purchase. Very cute tables to sit at and awesome location! The coffee..... very overpriced and hasn't been consistent in flavor. The price of the coffee also doesn't reflect what is on the menu. I've had to question what I am getting every time as it doesn't match up to the price on the menu. I've either gotten it adjusted with an apology or the barista being just ever so slightly argumentative and explaining why my coffee is over $5. I'm confused every time. Also, the flavor is different often and I order the same thing every time. I will still purchase food and home decor, but I will go somewhere else for coffee. UPDATE: I have edited my review as my complaints above have improved. Other than the price, but I'm Willing to pay that for consistency, supporting a small business and excellent customer service. Maybe there was a shift with the employees? The breakfast sandwiches are Da BOMB! read more

This is such a lovely coffee shop. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The inside of the building is cozy and warmly decorated so you can sip your coffee and relax. During nice weather they have good options for sitting outside as well. They also have a drive-thru that I frequent often. They are always quick to get my order and very friendly. I liked it here and it's cute and all but they just raised their prices! Breakfast sandwiches are $6 now, talk about ridiculous!! I'll go to Starbucks and pay $3.50 for theirs! And $3 for an Italian soda! Come on!! They may have lost lost my business!! Not sure why they had to up their prices! Feeling annoyed! The drinks are ok, and the owner is friendly, but the girls that work there have consistently acted stuck up and rude, like they don't want to be working and as if I've done something wrong. I put up with it for a while thinking they were just having a bad day, but there are plenty of other drive thru coffee stands I can go to. read more

The owner was friendly, helped with suggestions and welcoming. We will definitely be back. I'm just sad that it is not located where we live in Sonoma County California. The tomato soup was delicious, but the flavor was gorgeous with the roasted tomatoes and chive oil, though a bit rich. I definitely finished it, but I do think that having some of my sister's grilled cheese to dip into it was more appropriate than eating it on its own. The sandwich I got had the softest milk bread and was just a classic deli sandwich, but you can tell that again, they used quality ingredients. I felt like I got my money's worth for everything I paid for. The parking situation was great, we parked in the overflow lot across from the establishment. There was a five dollar charge, and if you show your receipt when returning to your vehicle, they gave you a refund. Waiting in line wasn't terrible, we waited maybe 15 minutes? The only thing is that they have a ramp leading to the patio and a long line is inevitable, and the ramp is narrow, so if somebody wants to pass through with a stroller or a wheelchair, everybody on the ramp has to move off to let them through. When we got up to the front to order, something happened with their system, and they had to pause orders for a couple minutes, which didn't bother me, but I could see how maybe that might bother someone else. Either way, they were very nice throughout the wait. There are a lot of people there seemingly throughout the day, and we had a group of five adults and four kids, but we were able to find a picnic table with enough room easily. The situation is like this, they really don't have their own parking at all. You have to pay for parking at the nearby park which is also where the bathrooms are. However, you can skip all this by going through the drive through, but it is a bit chaotic as you try to follow all the signs on how to get into the drive through, but be extra careful as kids and adults are paying attention and walk into the drive thru lane without looking. Since there is a wait for the drive through, they are smart to have QR codes to look at the menu while you are in line. They do have done picnic table setups for sitting down but also some tables inside Sugarpine. I think we waited about 10 min on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't so bad of a wait. They do warn you that they serve a 20% service fee on top of your order. However, I don't understand why. I got no table service. Basically a guy took my order and handed me my ice cream cup. I usually give 20% for real table service. Not sure if this is one of those charges they use to give the employees certain benefits? It was unclear to me. I'll be honest, I was very disappointed in the soft serve offerings. It was chocolate or vanilla or a swirl but there was a plant based offered that is a little more which is a bit more interesting. We got one chocolate vanilla swirl and one blueberry ube kids cup (5 oz) The had coconut vanilla as well, but I did not try it. I paid my just over $10 charge which wasn't too bad, but since there is no place to eat these I drove into downtown Troutdale to Harlow Park where it is free to park and plenty of covered tables. While I enjoyed my soft serve, it wasn't really anything special to me that I couldn't find in other Portland locations. In fact, I've had better. I do appreciate the family run business and the local kids that work there, I think it is a great thing, but honestly toss lace seems best for a stop on the way back from a day at the Gorge, else I won't go out of my way for it. Nothing wrong with it as I said, it tasted fine, but it did t blow my mind either. I did not get to try their BBQ offerings so I can't speak for that but it did small good. I know that have $10 offerings for dessert that have toppings and such but for me the base or foundation of it all is more important to me.

If you want bad coffee, while listening to the boss yell and humiliate her employees publicly you've come to the right place. I've never heard a positive thing about the work environment and I've seen all the employees instantly get drained of all emotion as soon as the owner shows up, I don't blame them either because getting yelled at constantly isn't enjoyable and neither is listening to it while I try to drink my coffee without puking. A tad of irony is that the boss insists on having Christian music on while she's there which blends very nicely with her screeching constantly at everyone. I've never seen anyone that is so full of themselves. Over the last year or so of coming to silk there might be one employee that has worked there for more than one year. I wonder why they go through so many employees? Maybe it's because they respect themselves enough to not get walked all over every other day when Ms. Perfect is throwing one of her signature temper tantrums. I've asked a couple of old employees that worked there about it and they all have said it's because of how they are treated. I feel guilty that I supported such a terrible business for as long as I did. I'd rather put my money into a blender, or flush it down a toilet than to support the narcissistic woman that runs the place. If you are reading this and are thinking about going here to get a drink I beg you to go to to your local grocery store and pick up a bag of Hershey's kisses then to go home and put ONE of them in a cup of water before microwaving it for 30 seconds, this half melted Hershey water will taste better 9/10 times and costs like ten cents to make. If you are a young lady thinking about working here, just don't unless you want to get yelled at and belittled constantly for things that are not your fault, while making minimum wage or close to it. I'd rather eat a dining room table than to ever come here again. Good day to everyone that has read this except the owner. read more

The baristas are helpful, especially when recommending beverages to first-timers.
