There is much more here than a typical butcher shop! It's cozy with an array of delicious dishes. I have a few favorites and have also bought some amazing holiday meats. I won't pretend that every single dish was perfect. However, Joe and Dolly are more than happy to personalize any dish to your liking. Their genuine desire to serve you what you enjoy shines through in every interaction, and their willingness to go the extra mile truly sets them apart!

Picked up the $9.99 Calzone Special tonight!!! So good!! Made the mistake of ordering two because I wasn't sure how big it was. Let's just say 3/4 of ONE, fed my whole family of four. Wound up freezing the other for later!!!

We were in the area for an event, so we stopped in for lunch after seeing it on DDD from the night before. The food was okay. The restaurant is VERY cluttered with supplies everywhere. Very crowded with stuff. The only open spaces were the few tables and the small spot on the counter where you order. It's giving cluttered hoarder vibes. We weren't sure if they were under new ownership. Staff were friendly. The restaurant was cold. Food was okay, not bad, not great. Not impressed. We were expecting much more.

We love this place! We used to live further and would make the drive to pick up food here, now we live closer, few mins away... we're so happy abt that! All the food we get here is great, from pastas, burgers, pierogies, salads, subs, wraps... you name it! I feel like we buy from them almost everyday! Dont forget the garlic fries and the pistachio cheesecake! Also friendly staff!

Updating my review to add that JMM has become my family's go-to for delivery of Sunday brunch. Yesterday we got an eggplant parmesan pizza, two orders of delicious French toast (4 slices in each order), a vegetable omelette, hash browns, and an egg and cheese on a sesame seed bagel. It was all delivered to our doorstep on a Sunday in about 45 minutes and cost under $60.00 including delivery! Thank you JMM for making our Sunday meal so perfect! In

I've been here so many times since discovering it when I moved to New Jersey. I've had everything from specials sandwiches, pasta dinners, cold cut hoagies, hot hoagies, desserts, baked goods, deli meat, etc. Nothing has missed The quantity you get in a meal is just stupid. The portions are INSANE. And you better believe the quality doesn't go down because of that. Once you see the prices alongside them, you'll understand why people becoming regulars. Joe is awesome and his son Giovanni is such a great kid who loves the business and shows what owning a family restaurant is all about. Show them the love they put back in their food.

If you are coming here for the first time, do what I did and take a look at and familiarize yourself with their menu. Otherwise, when you get here you will be totally overwhelmed by the incredibly large number of choices here. My friend enjoyed his pastrami sandwich and my Buffalo Chicken Bleu Salad was excellent. It would have been even better if they had left off the tomatoes as I had requested. I believe there is a parking lot across the street but there was plenty of street parking.

We saw the episode from DDD over the weekend. If you want the meat market just go in the side entrance. The pizzeria is in the front. They do have a very small parking lot on the side street (3 spots). It's a very popular place that has about 6 tables in the back. For grub, we shared the antipasto bread that comes with marinara sauce. Plus a wrap called dolly's chicken salad. While we waited for our order noticed that they have two rather large refrigerators with prepackaged meals, bone broth and slices of desserts. If the pistachio ricotta cheese cake is available, do try it. Over the years I've written many DDD reviews. We were in the area and just couldn't resist another. Service was good. If you're looking for very good comfort food and in the area of South Bound Brook do check this place out.

This was a spot with a pizzeria in the front and a deli in the back. They also seemed to have a dine in area in the back on certain nights. They had tons of options to choose from ranging from pizzas to sandwiches to Italian entrees to burgers to etc. There was something for everybody. The prices were also extremely reasonable. Ordering was done at the counter in the back, and they were very organized as well as being friendly. I had the all you can meat cheese steak ($12), 6-piece order of Buffalo wings ($7.49), the "DDD" market sloppy joe ($14.95) and the daily pizza special ($5). The cheese steak was a special that came with grilled beef minute steak and grilled thin sliced pastrami topped with balsamic roasted sautéed onions, bleu cheese spread and peppery arugula on toasted Italian bread. This was not too bad. I would have liked to see more of the bleu cheese spread present as there was not enough but very enjoyable. The bread was the key here regardless. The wings were my favorite item tried. They were slightly breaded with just the right amount of sauce. There was a good kick to them, and the chicken was of good quality. The sloppy joe consisted of turkey, corn beef, roast beef, Swiss cheese, coleslaw, and Russian dressing on rye bread. This was huge! I really enjoyed this as a whole, but there was something a tad sweet that turned me off. I could not tell if it was from the coleslaw or brine on the meats, but I was not a fan. Regardless, the meats were sliced very thin and flavorful. I would also preferred more Russian dressing as it was a tad dry. Regarding the pizza special, it consisted of any two slices with a canned beverage. I opted for cheese slices. These were okay slices. There seemed to be something missing from the sauce or crust, but the crust did supply a nice crunch as it was cooked to my liking. Will I go back? I would.

Joes meat market is always busy! Friendly, huge menu, divey, but what you'd expect from a meat market that also serves food! Ambiance is low key, friendly..

We came to joes because a friend had told us that Guy Fierrie (sp?) of triple D and" flavor town" had recently visited! She said to give it a try so we did. Upon entering you see the pizza oven and various pizzas you can order by the slice. The pizzas looked a bit sad but I'm sure if fresh they're good. There's soda cans and boxes and store "overhead" all over the place. Everywhere you look there's boxes stacked and just stuff everywhere. We took our order to go I wouldn't want to really eat here it feels too crowded in the store. The young man that took my order explained that the sandwiches can be half or full size. I got half and it was huge! I got the black pepper Turkey and my cousin got the sloppy Joe (not that kind of sloppy Joe, see pictures). The Turkey sandwich I for was good. The bread was fresh and they give you plenty of meat. My cousin had enough sandwich for 3 days!! Hers was STACKED with meat. We both for chips as well and for checking in on Yelp i for 10% off! This place also serves so many other menu items. Id you're coming here bring your appetite!
